The food sold is generally good value although sometimes there can be long queues. Luckily in Truro there are three separate Warrens so you can avoid the queues. The pasties rate as one of the best in Truro. The two most popular are next to the Cathedral and the other is by Argos. If you are in Cornwall I would recommend Warrens as making good pasties.

Be warned on a Saturday you will find long queues outside WC Rowe around lunchtime and my only criticism is that they sometimes run out of pasties at this time. A second WC Rowe has now opened on Lemon Quay which has just as good pasties. As well as pasties you can buy all the normal bakery products you would expect. I strongly recommend a Rowe pasty as I think it is the best available.

The other goods are closer to the types of fruit/veg you get in the discount stores like Lidl. As well as fruit and veg, they stocks lots of types of 'health' snacks like seeds and yoghurt coated fruits, etc, and various other products like cous cous and bulghar wheat. The service is good all staff are friendly and they provide boxes as an alternative to their plastic bags which is a good choice for the environment and for popping the stuff in the back of the car don't end up with bruised apples rolling about all over the boot! Cheaper than the supermarkets and good personal service.
