The staff here go the extra mile. For example one came up to especially tell me that a product I had asked for a few weeks ago was back in stock. Always friendly & hard working. I shop here every few days. This branch is a credit to Aldi. read more

All of the staff are friendly and helpful but it's the checkout men/women who are the real superstars of the store. They are chatty, friendly and very helpful. Often they remember us from previous visits and ask how we are. Most knowing us by name which is lovely. They are a real credit to the store and make it a pleasant place to shop.

This store is an out of town Tesco's, just up the hill from the centre of Wadebridge. It is quite a…read morelarge store and the only one in the immediate area and as a result it is very popular. It also has a fairly large petrol station, which is is kept seperate from the store. The store itself has all the usual facilities - delicatessen, bakery, fish counter, large fruit and vegetable section etc. An opening aisle of non-food products too, cookware, clothes, entertainment and items targeted at tourists, like wetsuits and buckets and spades! This store, because of the fact that its really the only sizeable store in the area and also of the booming tourist trade around Wadebridge, mean that at some points it is painfully busy, particularly during the changeable Cornish weather. Still it has all the essentials and luxuries you will need.

On asking, they said it's their store policy. Even more appalling, they only pick on random customers, searching their bags. This looked biased and racist behavior by looking at gender, colour and then searching.Never had this experience elsewhere ..while store need to keep eye on shoplifting etc, they could do so by using technology and better staff training. The store isn't massive It has a good size car park and usually is quite easy to find a space. The car park is also quite easy to get out of. The queues can be variable as they often do not have many cashiers, however the staff are friendly and efficient. If you do go makes sure to bring a bag with you as you have to pay for a carrier. Every week they have new special offers which could be on household electricals or anything else, but you do not know what they will have.

They do not seem to have as much selection as some stores but they do sell everything you need. There are it seems lots of staff so usually all the tills are open and you never have to queue to long. Its really easy to get to just on the main road into Penzance near the long rock heliport. They also have a petrol station but its across the road from the main car park.

The Tesco in Truro is very close to the city centre. It has a large car park although at peak times…read moresuch as a Saturday morning it can become very busy, and the queues can stretch out onto Morlaix Avenue. I would therefore suggest that you shop on another day of week at this Tesco. There is a cafe on the left as you come in but the food served I never feel is all that great. There are also toilets in this area. The store itself it quite large and it is rare for an item to be out of stock. There are a few self service tills but I have found these to be unreliable so I always go to a till with a member of staff on.

They are slightly more expensive but you get what you pay for.....their wine sectrion is extremely good with a nice selection of chateau-bottled wines on offer. The car park is too small for the size of the store although it does have a second storey. Parking between spaces seems slightly tighter than usual. They need to expand parking if they can. Exiting the store is difficult as the roundabout is always very busy. Other than that, a pleasant shopping experience! Would have been 5 stars if parking arrangements were better.

It isn't too hard to find a space in the car park usually. The store itself is quite large with a good choice of most items. It has fish, bakery and deli counters. This Sainsbury's also sells clothes and household goods. Occasionally it can be difficult exiting on to the main roundabout when leaving the car park.

Staff is friendly and helpful, the selection is decent, and as the only grocery/ booze mart in the village, I'm pretty dam grateful it stocks anything at all. The lunch on the go section is pretty good too, in terms of variety and quality. Beats the heck out of Canadian convenience stores, although it does have convenience store prices, so I really try NOT to buy anything in here if I can wait until the next trip to Sainsbury's or Tesco!
