A reasonable sized branch, but not sure if it actually deserves the super store tag. I suppose that's added as there is a petrol station on site. However it seems to stock most things but is sadly lacking a mens department. read more

Think the store also has a chemist in it too which is handy for prescriptions whilst you are shopping. The shelves are well stacked most of the time and the floor is always clean. Good selection and availability of products . Staff are well presented and are friendly. They also seem to know where most products are if you cant find anything unlike quite a few supermarkets where they don't actually know where products are. Overall good store.

The shop's quite well laid out, and the shop assistants are friendly and helpful- and useful if you can't find something (like we couldn't when we visited!) Cons As it's a Local, it doesn't have the full range so you don't get all the value items- which I suppose is OK if you just need top-up shopping but it is quite annoying if you want savings.

Tesco Express is good for picking up bits and bobs, and it has a good selection for a petrol station shop. You could actually do a week's shopping here if needed. My main complaint is that because it is small the selection is limited, which is fine, but they seem to pick the most expensive type of each item, eg the organic version! This can be quite annoying as you end up paying more for your item because you have to get the high quality version.

Consuquently it is often very busy, with all tills open and still queues being present. The quick pay self service tills are a useful feature if you are only doing a small shop, but they're often ineffective or faulty, still requiring at least 1 member of staff to be present at the time they're being operated, which to some extent negates their benefits. There are often still queues at this area. Otherwise it is quite a good store, with a wide range of products, including food, drinks, flowers, homewares and electronics.
