I love this Asda and I could spend half a day walking round. They have some some great baragins as you would expect from Asda. There is plenty of room to park. The clothing section is quite large and the food section is even bigger! The homewares section is also quite big and covers most of our needs from frying pans to bread makers. It does get very busy at weekends so it is worth going during the week if you can as I think it can be stressful at busy times trying to get your way round the store. read more

This ASDA store is quite large, which is useful considering it is the only one of its kind for quite a while around the area. Consuquently it is often very busy, with all tills open and still queues being present. The quick pay self service tills are a useful feature if you are only doing a small shop, but they're often ineffective or faulty, still requiring at least 1 member of staff to be present at the time they're being operated, which to some extent negates their benefits. There are often still queues at this area. Otherwise it is quite a good store, with a wide range of products, including food, drinks, flowers, homewares and electronics. read more

This is quite a large Asda with lots of parking - even though you have to pay to park! Lots of clothing and toys. It has been revamped recently so it is alot better than it was - even though I cant find anything now!. There is a good music, video and games section and the staff on here are helpful. read more

Ok food may be cheap, but the store is a dump. Untidy and full of moaning people and badly behaved kids. Not my idea of fun. they are having a refurb at the moment, but we'll see if it makes a difference read more

In terms of an Asda store, it is silly that they expect you to pay for parking when for most supermarkets it is completely free for 2-3 hours. Has recently been revamped and now looks a lot cleaner and attractive inside, however it is so hard to find things, all the staff were as clueless as me. Large selection of george clothing and a good cd and dvd section. Recently popped in to buy a PS3 game on special which was very easy to find. Lots of staff so no hanging about, just need better signage for where to find things. very busy on a tue and fri due to the local market in one of the joining car parks. read more

George Asda - Grocery Near Me - Farnborough, HAM

My first visit to this Asda was disappointing. Although the George clothing was good; well priced and of reasonable quality and the Christmas isle full of bargain price items I found the rest of the store unpleasant. I really thought I would find loads of bargains and I didn't find it any better than Tesco or Morissons. The store has a very high roof and it made it feel cold, it was also quite untidy when we went there. It felt more like a warehouse store than a well established supermarket chain. Very busy too with not enough tills open. All the usual counters etc that you would expect in a large supermarket, I think this one you either love or hate and I won't be going back. Also the car park was very untidy with trolleys everywhere and rubbish laden too. The lady on the till was nice. Oh and the toilets were untidy and only one was working! read more
