Googled locations to see the lake, came here. Wasn't parked just came to look at the water. We…read morewasn't bothering anyone, wasn't even trying to stay long just tryna enjoy the views real quick. These big ol mighty heads came up very rude about how we have to go, and that we are trespassing. We understood and didn't know, I wasn't the driver but my fiancée wanted to take a bite of his food real quick and leave. Not even a minute, not even a few seconds they say "you can't eat here you have to go" yelling at us, this was the young girl yelling as well like she was the boss.. Just very rude, it went down hill quick.. Disrespect will lead to bad decisions & behavior.. the vibes gave off racist to the core. If you see this girl or a man with a bald head, white/gray beard STAY AWAY. You WILL want to fight with their disgusting mouths. Just awful people, with no heart. No mind. Just empty souls that have nothing to do but drive around protecting the lake and their run down property. Take this off google maps if you don't want people coming. Call google asap - ima really nice respectful person but if you give off disrespect, and rude energy for no reason IT WILL BE RETURNED. And it will go down hill quick.

Experienced flat out racism and discrimination at this marina while with my church group. We were…read moretold we couldn't sit at the run down tables because we're aren't boat members but there aren't any signs stating this this information. We were told this by the park trustee ? he stated this was private property and we were considered trespassers. The altercation even went as far as him calling us racial slurs and using profane language stating he didn't "give a damn about the Godly event". There were children and elderly seniors present while this behavior was being exhibited. Overall due to the conditions of the property and the situation that occurred during this visit I do not feel it is safe to visit this location at all.

National Marine Sales has new owners, and let me just say -- they're some of the friendliest people…read moreyou'll meet. The owner even joked that since I live on the Illinois River, he's got so many boats he could probably just give me one. (Still thinking about taking him up on that offer lol) We've rented pontoons here on a couple of occasions, and the prices are fair for the great time you get on the water. The river itself makes for quite an adventure -- you can travel a couple miles each way without worry. One side ends at the dam, the other side gets pretty shallow, but there's still plenty of space to relax, cruise, or crank down the throttle. Pro tip: beware of the flying Asian carp! They don't just jump -- they launch themselves at your boat like they've got a personal vendetta. It's basically free entertainment while you're cruising. If you're looking for a mix of friendly service, fair boat rental prices, and a river ride with a side of comedy (thanks to the carp), National Marine Sales is the spot!

Signed a contract to have them help me sell my boat in exchange for a 10% commission. Not only did…read morethey not help me.. they made it harder for me to sell it. It was never advertised. I had one person call there who was told they didn't have boat there matching the description.. when I found someone interested they were sent pictures of a very dirty boat. The interested party drove from Tennessee and were told my the Marina that they wouldn't be able to take them on a water test (these were first time boaters and the contract states that this would be done). I was told I wouldn't even have to be there! The morning of I got a call and was asked if I'm available to come to the Marina. Luckily I have a friend who was willing to come down and take them out on the water and basically "sell" it for me. Couldn't believe how I was treated by Bradley. Very frustrating and would not recommend!!
