There were easy to communicate with for setting up service for my boat and where able to compete all the maintenance on the boat when they said they would. Ive already recommended some of my friends to them and would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Looking forward to working with them more in the future. Capt. Derek

The decision wasn't due to logistics as they are 50 miles away from home, it was for the service and quality they offer. I still remember what was told to me from the start. "When you pick your boat up in the spring, I don't want to see you until the fall". This has stood true since the beginning, something you don't see when or hear of in the boating world. Fast forward to new owners, leadership at the facility. I trusted Rick to repower my boat with new motors, removing motors still in great condition due to service provided over the years but was time. Ruben now running the shop and Stephanie behind the counter managing Operations has been a great transition. Responsible, reliable and there to answer the calls whether for service or just a question. I will say behind the counter was bumpy for a bit but Steph stepped in and is killing it like a seasoned veteran of the business, getting you in for appointment, serviced and on the water as quick as possible. If it's service outside of their scope, upholstery for example, she lines you up with the proper person to get it done. What I like, 1 STOP SHOP! Rick, enjoy retirement. The teamwork of Steph and Ruben got this and is being left in great hands. When asked where I repowered or get my service, I tell them to call Ricks, ask for Steph and let them know I sent you, happy to put my name on it. You won't be disappointed! Capt Tracy

It leaves from New Bedford and once you get out to the island of Cuttyhunk you will have pretty much the whole place to yourself. Not many year rounders live there, maybe a few dozen, and the usual summer tourist haven't started yet. Just be warned the the ship isn't very large, only 80 feet. That means it does roll around a bit but that makes it great fun. Unless you happen to be prone to sea sickness and I guess then it wouldn't be so much fun. The ferry does have a heated cabin so you won't freeze your butt off and they do sell booze and coffee on broad. Plenty of hot and cold water and two toilets for your convenience. Of course they don't call them crappers, here they are referred to as heads. Once you get to Cuttyhunk you will see a bizarre, strange and very pristine place. Hike or bike down to the SE part of the island to see the remains of the old lighthouse or the very strange statue of Gosnold looming from the marsh. Mr Bartholomew Gosnold was a very strange man indeed. If you want to try something different that probably won't kill you, give Cuttyhunk and the ferry a try. Now's a great time to do it.
