bu bon and bu lac and my friend had a sidra pulku great cider beer

The best food I had. I had to come more than once. I love Vietnamese food and this place is so good. I was in Argentina for a week and was missing some spicy food also I was sick and this is honestly one of the things that's cured me. The pho bon was so good I ate three bowls. It's such good spice my Vietnamese friend approved and she even spoke to the owners who are Vietnamese too. Honestly this was by far one of the best meals I had in Argentina. It was different from the norm and since I love spice Asian food this is just perfect. The second time I came I had a bu bon kinda of different from what I'm used to because I put in the sauce but this came with the sauce in it. But never the less it was just as amazing. Love this place if I ever come to Argentina I will definitely come back here. Also try the beers my friend got a really good cider. Also right next door is a beer place Me encanta este lugar es buenísimo.

Ahhh, Vietnamese food! I was coming down with a cold and craving fresh, healthy and spicy food. Saigon hit the spot! The 4 vegan options are helpfully marked on the menu. A veg soup option would've been perfect, though. One of those places where you pay at the register, then listen for your name to be called by the open kitchen. They messed up my order and accidentally put meat, but made up for it by very quickly making me a new dish. Speaking of, yum-town! Everything was super fresh with bright, markedly Vietnamese flavors. I was also so happy that sriracha and other hot sauces were readily available, you don't see that often, even in Asian restaurants here. Decent prices of about $185 for a nice, filling dish. I actually had to pack some of mine to go. Oh heck yeah, you be I'll be back.

This is the Saigon Noodle and Bar restaurant. It's our first time visiting the capital city and after along trip in the southern America area, we want some good Vietnamese foods. The chef is Vietnamese and the foods are good with authentic ingredients. We have tried many different orders including pho bo, bun thit nuong, nem quon, cha gio, etc. The price is very reasonable and much less expensive comparing elsewhere in the US. It's best to pay in peso and get there early since it is getting so crowded during the lunch and dinner time. It is just around 20 minutes walking from the downtown area. Highly recommended.

my first visit to a Vietnamese restaurant in Argentina was surprisingly pleasant. our choice to eat some delicious pho on a gloomy day was quite perfect. I got myself an extra large pho and I can say that it was definitely good enough for two people to share if you're considering appetizers. A group of us got spring rolls and it was the perfect combination with the soup. Seating is a little tight and it can get crowded, especially on sundays. The whole party does not have to be present if you want to reserve a table (big plus!). Overall, food was delicious, ambiance was great, and the neighborhood is wonderful for some touring and coffee afterwards.

Hot take: I think it's better than Nino Gordo. There was literally food on my face but the food was so good that the bigger concerns was getting another bite in mouth so I didn't wipe it off. - Drinks (basil lemonade and gin gimlet) - 12/10 - Roti - packed a punch of flavor and was also a little spicy (which we have been missing in this city). Wish I could put this in my pocket and eat it later back in the US. I got a little mad at my boyfriend cuz he ate most of it the second night but it's okay cuz we ordered a second one because it was that good. - 13/10 - Tempura Pao - Good but not great 7.5/10 - Khao Soi - very spicy but also very good! 10/10 - Tuna salad - more like ceviche 11/10

My husband and I both ordered the Khao Soi and were glad to see it was vegetarian. It was delicious but so so spicy! We can handle Asian spice but this was next level. May be worth asking this to be made to your spice tolerance for this dish. The decor and ambiance was excellent, the food was tasty! Recommend overall.

It was the only thing I ate for the day, so provenance isn't in doubt as to place, though as to what caused it? Who knows. Most likely either raw veggies or hands that weren't properly washed. At the same time, it's not the sort of place that felt like that would be a regular occurrence, and they were mortified when I contacted them about it, and promised to sort it out. Which made me think I ought to give them a second visit. As did the fact that the place comes recommended by at least a couple of foodie folk I know. On, however, this visit, and looking at just the food, they have a lunch special for 200 pesos ($8.50) that includes a choice of appetizer and a choice of bao. For the former I went with a classic Vietnamese nem, or fried springroll. It was tasty, but a bit oily inside because, as you can see from when I flipped it over, one entire side is open. That's the kind of thing that you'd think someone plating the dish would have noticed and started over again. For my choice of bao, I went slightly unusual with the fried chicken one, because, well, fried chicken. Actually pretty good, and the "broken potatoes" rock. I could just go in and eat a plate of those. A small bottle of ginger ale washed it all down. Negative, I'd have liked to try a second bao, but the only way they offer it is in combo, and the minimum combo was a 170 peso bao with another appetizer, more potatoes, and another beverage, none of which I wanted. They weren't willing to sell just a bao, even though I'd already eaten a full combo. That strikes me a little inhospitable and inflexible. Which made me think I ought not to give them a second visit... but... ...eventually, about three weeks on, giving them another shot won out. On my second visit, they've dropped the lunch combo, and now simply charge more for each individual bao, each of which comes with those great broken potatoes. They've expanded the appetizer offerings, or maybe they're just non-bao offerings, as they're all roughly the same prices., somewhere between 120-150 pesos apiece. They did, however, change that great vinegary dipping sauce for the potatoes too, and now offer up a sort of milky, near flavorless liquid that made no sense to me. Like watered down ranch dressing. Tried two of the bao (they won't serve one without the potatoes, so if you want more than one, it's a lot of potato - I didn't even eat half of them). The clasico is a sweet, hoisin sauce glazed pork belly, the sweetness offset nicely by pickled beets; the bondiola is a slow braised pork shoulder with a sort of cabbage slaw. Both delicious. No ill effects. They do pick out one of the half dozen bao offerings daily at lunch and offer it as the day's special, dropping the price for whichever one it is from 150 down to 90 pesos, which is a bargain! Bring back the spicy dipping sauce for the potatoes, and maybe let folk who want to order a second bao get one without a pile of potatoes, and I'm sold.
