I ordered the Nem Nuong Cuon and Green curry with tofu via Grubhub. The rolls beef was like a piece of beef jerky mixed with flavorless package iceberg shredded lettuce. I am not a fan of the dipping sauce so I ordered spicy chili oil on the side. It seemed a shame to add chili oil to the rolls to give them flavor. The green curry was so curry flavorful. I ordered med spicy since I have no frame of reference to the restaurant's definition of spiciness and it had a small bite. I added some chili oil to add more kick. The vegetables in the curry were fresh, crisp and defiant enough to remind me that this wasn't just a sauce to be put over rice but that it was a wholesome meal.

Very good Pho here. I stop by at least twice a month in the middle of the week when I'm craving fresh pho. I always get the beef and extra cilantro. The broth is very good too. The vegetable rolls are nice appetizer too.

Pho noodle soup is great! Why 2 star? This place already humid and warm definitely not on my comfort zone enjoying food, i saw some guy turn off the air conditioner when i go wash hands by the rest room !!! Yeah why?? I read some bad reviews about owner keep turn it off and wont let the server turn the ac on. Apparently its right? Owner didnt care about customers. The other pho place is nice and cool im considering the other place if im carving for soup.

    Tom Kha..good but too sweet

Decent food in a small restaurant. I tried the Tom Kha soup and ordered the Tom Yum soup to go. The Tom Kha was good but a bit too sweet. The Tom Yum was just okay, it needed more spiciness to it. For lunch I ordered the veggie lovers with beef. It comes with a side of hot and sour soup. The soup wasn't that great but the veggies and beef were really good. Next time I want to try the Pho, I noticed that's what most people were ordering.

This is a Vietnamese and south Asian cuisine special restaurant. We always love to get soup noodles along with Thai ice tea with pearls. Ambience: The restaurant is neat with thoughtful seating for couples group and singles. Food: The quantity of the food is huge while getting soup noodle bowl and it tastes really good and u can sense the freshness of the ingredients in the food . Thai ice tea for the drink is even more delightful with the food that u are having Service: The staff are very helpful courteous and very accommodative of what we want and not in the food . Only negative is that it is not close enough to my place :-(

Daughter & I went here for dinner last night and the service was very pleasant and easy going. We had a few things that were full of flavor. She had seafood soup, I had spring rolls. We also ordered shrimp Pad Thai and she had chicken skewers. The server was nice and kept coming over to make sure we were okay. The experience and engagements were very warming. The food was good as well.

Broth-less pho for $11? RIP OFF.

Ordered dinner for the wife and myself today to be picked up at 5. Showed up at 4:45 and patiently waited. Finally got my food a bit after five. I should've checked the order, but I had to pee! Get home to find everything that goes in pho, minus the broth. So is the broth extra? If so it should be explicitly stated in their menu. Ridiculous. And if that is the case, $11 for rice noodles, cilantro and a few slices of beef is a rip off. At least I have beef broth at home. I'd call the restaurant but honestly it's more trouble trying to get back there in ATL traffic. Never coming back. Too many other good pho spots to hit to bother with this ridiculousness. UPDATE: The manager called me and then messaged me to apologize and offer a refund or free meal at next visit. So, I'll amend my review for the effort to make things right. And, the curry we ordered was very tasty.

We arrived just a few minutes after it opened and there only two people who arrived to pick up food. It was otherwise empty until one couple came in about 20 minutes later. I am not sure why, but it took forever for our food to get to our table. We asked for two different levels of hot and neither one of them had any level of hot, and I think that's because of the language barrier between us and the server. Beyond the hotness level, the pad Thai had a very faint tomato taste, and other than that had no flavor of spices of any kind. We also found little pieces of scrambled egg in the bottom that also was just there, but didn't add to the flavor of the dish as it normally does. I don't know that I've been disappointed with a pad Thai dish in this way in such a long time. I'll keep looking at my travels and when I let you know if I find another great spot for pad Thai in this area I will definitely post.

(we ordered about 15 min before we arrived so we knew there would likely be a slight wait). While the service was pleasant, there was a slight smell in the restaurant even tho employees were cleaning right before closing. Most importantly the two stars are because the food quality was poor. Chicken was not cooked well (but thankfully not raw), there was not enough seasoning or marinade for chicken (ex: no garlic taste) and very minimal vegetable included in hunan chicken dish which comes with carrots broccolli among other vegetables normally depending on the restaurant. Food was hot when served but half of the portion was brown rice listed as "fried rice" but had no veggies or eggs and also seemed bland. Besides soy it lacked a lot of flavor, and this was disappointing. I hope cuisine improves in future hopefully this was related to ordering near closing time (45 min before) but unfortunately I would not return due to this experience. I wish them the best and service seems like it would be decent, but food quality is priority for me.

Since I wasn't in the mood to sit down and eat, I went ahead and placed a call-ahead order for their House Lo Mein along with an order of fried chicken wings. The restaurant itself is fairly spacious with a nice, welcoming atmosphere once you step inside. The décor gives off a classic Chinese restaurant vibe that feels comfortable and relaxing. Parking, however, is a bit of a mixed bag. The spots right in front of the building are limited, so I ended up using the extended parking lot, which was a little dark and had that slightly eerie feeling at night -- nothing too wild or dangerous, but definitely not the most well-lit area I've seen. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was pleasantly greeted right at the door by the staff, who provided genuinely friendly and efficient customer service. That warm welcome made the whole pickup process smooth and quick. Once I got back to my hotel room and finally dug into the food, I have to say the House Lo Mein was prepared with fresh ingredients and good quality noodles and vegetables. It wasn't the most outstanding lo mein I've ever tasted in my life -- I've had versions that were more flavorful and better seasoned -- but it certainly wasn't the worst either. I'd honestly describe it as pretty mid-tier: solid, reliable, and worth what I paid for it on that particular evening. The fried chicken wings, on the other hand, really stood out to me. They were extra crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and actually had some noticeable flavor and seasoning, which made them quite enjoyable. All in all, it was a decent and satisfying meal that hit the spot after a tiring day. The portions were generous enough, and the value felt reasonable. I could definitely see myself returning to The Orient sometime in the future if I find myself back in the area and in need of a quick Chinese takeout option. That said, with plenty of other restaurants nearby that offer more affordable prices and bolder flavors, it probably wouldn't be my absolute first choice the next time I'm craving something similar. Still, if you're looking for a convenient, no-fuss spot with friendly service and consistently okay-to-good food, The Orient is worth considering.

I started with the hot-and-sour soup. It was so good, and my friend started with a ginger salad. Our favorite roll was the one with multiple types of fish, rolled with cucumber. It was so fresh and delicious. It's a little hard to eat, but totally worth the effort. We also had a Sheldon room with spicy tuna, and it was square instead of the regular roll, and we really enjoyed that one, too. When we come back, we'll be tempted to order the same rolls, if we can figure out what they're called, but if not, there are so many other phenomenal options on the menu we'd be happy with.
