She talks to you like you are a child, dismisses your symptoms and rushes you out. I've seen her on a few occasions thinking each time would be better and she was no help at all. One time I was in a lot of pain (for something I will not disclose on here) and all she told me was "We'll keep an eye on it". Hello!?!?!? How the heck is that going to help me? She doesn't give a crap about you and referrals are nonexistent in her book. She will make it so difficult to be seen by a specialist. One time my arm was hurting and she told me to go to CVS and buy a brace! What?? Lady I want to use my insurance for medical appliances. That's why a certain amount of money is taken out of my paycheck every two weeks to pay for HEALTH INSURANCE!! She told me she would NOT write a prescription for it. Save your copay, gas and time and go to a "REAL DOCTOR" because she is no help at all.

I have never had any issue making an appointment with her, and what totally blew me away above and beyond is that she provides her patients with her cell phone number. She is accessible at all times. Of course I would never take advantage of this, but it is reassuring that I don't have to jump through hurtles to get find her in case there was an urgency of needing her attention. She, herself, sends you a reminder text message to let you know that your appointment is that day. She calls you to make sure the new medicine you are on isn't giving you any negative affects. She is an amazing listeners and genuinely cares about your well being. I am speaking from my personal experience. To have a doctor who is as hands on as she is blows me away. I have never had that type of service. She's not a concierge doctor either. Hours are great as well. Her practice is open Tuesday-Friday from 12-7pm. Every other Saturday they're open as well. IF you can't get in during working hours; it is nice to have that extension where you can get there after the fact. She is my primary care physician, and I am happy to have her as that.

I had been to other vein specialists in the area trying to figure out what was wrong with my legs and the best treatment option, but most brushed me off as too young (28). However, Dr. Markovitz and his techs were so patient and respectful. Even though the vein ablations are uncomfortable, Dr. Markovitz does his best to make them as painless and quick as possible. He explains what he is doing and why and gives easy to follow after care instructions. I am pleased with the treatment and plan to go back for sclerotherapy soon. Also, Susanna at the front desk is so kind and explains all the details about insurance payments, etc. I really appreciated the individualized care.

One of the worst office staff ever. They like to make money by charging you additional things you…read moredon't need. Schedule your appointment without your confirmation and then also charge you that you never showed up. After which if you try to reach out to them and to check about the charges that you never requested an appointment they will simply deny it, prove you as a LIAR and they are only the one who speaks the truth. This happened last year as well so now it seems like that they like to make money in this way as well. I would have given them a zero star or negative if that option would have been available and not recomment to visit this doctor office at all.

Select is easy to work with, has an intuitive patient portal, and is very relaxed/reasonable on billing. When you're in pain, you're stressed enough, so it's great that Select focuses on the healing. I specifically worked with Andrew and Katie and greatly enjoyed my time with both of them. They got me to smile and laugh through some painful exercises and treatments. The health form to fill out is one page, very simple and hassle free. Despite the short information gathering process, you should have plenty of time to discuss any issues with her and get prompt and knowledgeable answers. "After two really horrific, runaround and disrespectful experiences in communicating the need for a follow up visit on 7/2 re: lungs being weaker after to a previous 6/27 visit. After being denied that visit until 7/5 I communicated a need for longer steroid (previous one ran out) and a prescription for unexpired albuterol treatments, I'd like a hard copy of all my medical records as I'm choosing to switch medical care to a doctor that employs people who also care about patients. After the visit with my doctor on 6/27 and talking to her on the phone on 7/2 re: the two prescriptions needing to be called in, on BOTH occasions the CVS on Van Dorn didn't receive 2 of the 4 medicines after the in person office visit on 6/27 and didn't receive 1 of the 3 medicines prescribed after taking to the doctor on the phone 7/2. On 6/27 they called and get the latter two filled for me contacting the doctor. As of 7/5, the CVS still doesn't have the symbicort daily inhaler that Dr. Cusicanqui told me she'd be calling in. When following up after calling the office, I was told that CVS should have told me it wasn't covered and a different one was. He claimed to have no idea nor did he volunteer to reach out to my doctor. To clarify, I called the CVS while on the phone with the office manager and he hung up on me as I tried to get them both on the line. Shortly after CVS called with me on the line and the same office manager relayed my doctor called in another inhaler without my permission or explaining the difference to me. The CVS pharmacist relayed they are not the same as the symbicort is to open up the lungs while the other is only a steroid. I have serious concerns as to why I was lied to by the office staff person 7/5 and why BOTH on 7/2 and 7/5 I was told that I need to wait to hear back from the doctor for 48 hrs after still being sick from a prior visit. I'm still bewildered by This uncharacteristic treatment from this office but, concerned enough to find a new doctor where the office is helpful, honest and compliant."
