Stopped here for a late lunch and I'm so glad we did! I ordered the butter chicken with greens and lentil soup, naan, and a mango lassi. I enjoyed everything I ordered and pleased with the service! There were several people already seated and enjoying their meals and noticed that as the evening approached more people made their way in to place orders and also food delivery service people were picking up orders. Food portions are large enough for two average adults, choice of spicy heat range from mild to very spicy. The staff here are pleasant and friendly, their restaurant is well maintained and kept clean, spacious area with many booths and tables available to accommodate small to large parties. I highly recommend this Indian and African cuisine!! They will not disappoint! read more

Wonderful East Indian and African cuisine in a beautiful dining room with friendly owner and staff. Saibeen is so talented and nice. Located in the former Columbus Hospital, now called the Columbus Center, a bustling office building by day, Saibeen's offers some of the best ethnic food in the city. Check it out. Some dishes are spicy; the delicious butter chicken is milder. read more

Wow. Being totally unfamiliar with this cuisine, our meal here turned into a wonderful dining adventure. Our server, Coya, guided us through our menu options and answered all our questions. The four of us ended up opting for the family meal which consisted of the following entrees (See their menu on facebook for more detailed dish descriptions): - Butter Chicken - Chicken breast marinated in numerous spices and simmered and baked in a creamy tomato and cream sauce. - Aloo Loo Bindhi Sen (Vegan)-Potatoes, okra, green beans, onions, tomatoes, with numerous spices and lemon juice. - East African Sambaro (Vegan)-Shredded cabbage, granny smith apples, shredded carrots, potatoes, and seeded green chilies cooked in coconut oil. - DAAL (Vegan)-Mixed lentils and kidney beans cooked in vegan ghee with onions, tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, seeded green chilies, and tempered mustard seeds with numerous spices cooked in coconut milk. These were accompanied by a large bowl of Saffron Cinnamon Basmati Rice, 4 pieces of Naan, an array of sauces for toppings, and 4 Coconut Burfia, a coconut sweet dipped in chocolate. All agreed the food was spectacular, the facility bright and welcoming, and the service warmly attentive. Saibeen highlighted our meal with a visit to our table. Her James Beard nomination and finalist status should send a message to our "meat and potato" city... GIVE THIS PLACE A TRY. read more

From the ambience, to the flavors, to the service this was hands down the best Indian food dining experience I have ever had! My family (13 of us) enjoyed Saibeen's creations as well as her hospitality. I am gluten free and soy free and Saibeen and her husband Nathan were absolutely wonderful with confirming that all the meals we had that night were soy free. They pointed out the two items I could not have as they were not gf, the Naan bread and the samosas. Otherwise, I was able to enjoy all the dishes as far as my food allergies. I am a complete wimp when it comes to spice (sometimes black pepper gets me) and there were only two sauces and one dish that were too much for me. The rest of my family handled and loved the spice level very much. I called my mouth down with the most delicious tea. We ordered 3 Family Meals and had plenty of left over to enjoy for days. The menu for that week was: 1. Green Curry Mango Coconut Chicken Curry 2. Beef Kofta 3. Paneer Makhani 4. Jaiphali Aloo 5. Mixed Vegetable Thai Yellow Curry I do not live in Great Falls or MT even, but visit at least annually. I may have to visit again soon just to enjoy more of Saibeen's food. If you live in GF or nearby and you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend that you do. The service, food, and decor will make you come back for more. Trust me, you will not be disappointed! read more

Saibeen's Kitchen - Large dining area with beautiful decor! (This is showing only half the room). - Indian Near Me - Great Falls, Montana

Great hidden gem! Best non-Montana food that was found on this trip. A delightful stop for the weary traveler looking for a break from bar food and beer. Can't say enough good things about this place. And it's on the second floor of a repurposed building built in the 1890s (wow- cool!). You could spend a day here at Columbus Center; doing yoga, getting massages, hair cuts, and eating healthy food. read more

Hands down the absolute best Indian food I have ever had. If you're a veggie based eater there is no better restaurant in the entire state than Saibeen's (expert) Kitchen. Perfectly balanced spice combinations, unique to each dish. When it's spicy never hot for hot's sake. Instead it's complex, flavorful and delicious. Come to think of it, this is the only restaurant I've ever eaten in where I consistently order something NEW every time. I have literally never had a dish I didn't like. But beware: Saibeen's serves generous portions. Come hungry, leave absolutely stuffed. Shh... they also make a monthly delivery to Helena. Check the website. read more

The food was outstanding! It's easy to see why Saibeen received a James Beard nomination. It was well deserved. She is open limited hours, but if we lived in the area, we would probably eat there weekly. Enough said! read more

Saibeen's cooking is wonderful. This is the 2nd time we've been and we just love it. Last time it was curry chicken, this time was butter chicken with Naan. I had so much on my plate, that I have enough for dinner. To top it off, the service is phenomenal! They are located in what used to be the Columbus Hospital on the 2nd floor. You can park out front or back, believe its worth the trip. Make sure you know when they are opened, there are certain days and hours. The menu changes weekly, so you get a chance to try a variety of tasty foods. read more

What a great find on our cross country trip. The Family Meal let us try everything on the menu that day, and it was all delicious. The service was great, and the ambiance was fantastic. Saibeen came out and spoke with us, as did her other family members, and it was so heartfelt that it just added to the authenticity of it all. read more

I was blown away by the service and the quality of the food. The food was excellent and flavorful. I got the beed dish and the lentils entree on top of rice with a naan bread side. I really loved that the spicy sauce...was actually spicy. How refreshing for Great Falls. I hope you guys get samosas in the future! Saibeen personally came out to check on us and see how we were doing which I really appreciated. And our waitress was extremely attentive as well. Both of them made made sure we had water and enough sauces and were enjoying the food. I definitely recommend Saibeen's Kitchen to anyone looking for a delicious and refreshing food experience here in Great Falls, MT. read more

Really enjoyable lunch spot. I would recommend to anyone who doesn't think the definition of ethnic food is Taco Bell. Typically 2 menu options a day, a veggie and non-veggie dish. I think they'll give you a little of both if you ask. Generally served over basmati rice. Everything I've had has been tasty, well presented, and filling. Like someone else mentioned, boy do I wish they had samosas available on the lunch menu. Their naan bread and chai also aren't quite what I'm used to, but still tasty. It's the only naan in town, so I'm not gonna quibble too much ;) A little tricky to find, as the entrance is facing an alley, but there's plenty of parking and it never seems too busy. I hope they stay open for a long time to come! read more

First time I try Indian Cuisine, it's ok. You can taste their curry, is good. They dont have many options on their menu. The atmosphere is relaxing. read more

I wish I could explain how delicious her food is, I'm not particular on every dish but I'd say for the most part I love it all. The last time I went she only did cater samosas which is disappointing they should be apart of an appetizer.. I haven't been to the new location because it's all the way up on 10th, hope business is still good since you left downtown, we miss you! read more

This food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I went in and ordered and received our food very quickly. It was open seating with quaint decor. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They offered us more naan and water often. This is definitely a place we have been waiting for to open for a long while. It's a nice change to the usual Great Falls options and in my opinion very authentic. We will definitely be back! read more

Outstanding food, outstanding service! Top-notch job. Little bit off the beaten path but well worth the time to find it. You can tell everything is made with care and fresh quality ingredients. Staff is super friendly and helpful! read more

The entrance is really hard to find. It's in the back of the building. So pull off 10th & go around the block. But let me say, the food is AMAZING. the butter chicken basically melts in your mouth. The rice is really good (our 3 yo loved it). The service was great. The hours are kinda funky (like no dinner) but worth it if you have a lunch hour. I wasn't even sure i liked Indian food, but we will be back. read more

Good food but very expensive. Serving size is a bowl, not individual containers per entree and rice like other similar restaurants. Open 3 days a week and on the 2nd day they were already out of the 2 entrees I wanted the most. So I will return when I really have a craving but will be prepared to be a little disappointed. read more

Delicious! Really great food. You eat what they serve! No menu needed! The food is delicious and fresh. The service is good. And, the customers seem to be satisfied with portion size. I thought they served fresh Naan, yet the Naan today was store bought. I am hoping they just ran out and had to make do. Also, I eat extremely spicy food. Be aware, if you ask for spicy, SPICY you will get! I was delighted, and surprised. Most Montana restaurant really do not gauge spicy the same as I do. read more

This ups the Great Falls food scene by leaps and bounds! The menu the day I went in was butter chicken and corn masala with rice. It came with assorted sauces in mild, medium, or hot. I went with hot and it made for a nice, warm dish that was still easy to eat. I will definitely be back if I'm Great Falls for a weekday lunch time! read more

Amazing vegetarian food! Vegetables weren't over cooked, wonderful spices, spicy actually meant spicy, etc.

This is my favorite restaurant in Great Falls. We have eaten here almost every week since it has opened and every meal is so delicious. I have had East Indian food all over the country and some in Canada and England and this is one of the best. I can't believe we have an amazing East Indian restaurant in our town. read more

So so so delicious. If you haven't tried it you should because you are missing out on some amazing flavors and food. We picked it up for dinner (we being husband) and it reheated very well. Mine was supposed to be only veggies and the chicken tikka masala but still had rice so I don't know if he just didn't verify (order right) or we maybe got someone else's as his was missing his greens too but it was ok because it was so dang good. I didn't eat the rice as I can't but I did eat the meat and the veggies. My husband did say to make it medium to hot for spice, well we can handle heat and this was way too much for my poor mouth. Haha. I had to give him the green stuff on top that made it hot. Lol. Next time mild is good for me. I did like that even though it was hot all the flavors came through still. It is so amazing to have some Indian/African food options because moving back here from cities that have a lot of ethnic foods we were missing them. We definitely will be back. Thanks for the yummy food. Can't wait to do another dinner pick up in the future. We will be watching your menu for more choices. read more
