Respectfully I chose my own cultural clothing to show respect while I am there . And everyone loved & appreciated that where ever I was going . All the volunteers are absolutely amazing besides one. I almost cried & thought of leaving immediately. But some older gentleman reminded me not to ruin my peace & happy journey here for just one person. She was so racist, mean, have no idea how to treat people. I was probably one of the first hijaby she met on a Hindu temple and her heart couldn't take it ! I grow up with a father who was very close to culture, different religions never bothered him while making friends. Most of his friends are Hindu actually & we grow up like one family. So going to a temple & showing respect isn't new to me. I was gonna make a written complaint but I have decided to let it go & be a better person! If you are residing in New Jersey then you should not miss this temple. One of my all time favorite 'Awe' moments! There is a section where you are not allowed to take any pictures, that's the area I feel like not leaving ! A must see . If you wanna do a photoshoot try to make an appointment in advance, so they don't give you any problems. I don't think you have to pay anything for that , I am not sure though. But most of the areas you can definitely take pictures as much as you want with your phone . They have a big cafeteria, and the food is good . They also have a gift shop and as a South Asian I was shocked how cheap the items are considering outside in any other places. I ended up buying a lot of stuff , very good idea to get stuff for gifts . I am dreaming to come back again with some comfortable shoes lol !

Having visited some of the most famous temples around the world, this is by far one of the most impressive. It took 12.5K volunteers and close to 100 million dollars to build. Every inch tells a story and you can't help but admire the intricate details. To still have this type of craftsmanship in this day and age is astounding. The artisans painstakingly hand-carved each limestone piece in India before it was shipped to Robbinsville, New Jersey to be put together like a jigsaw puzzle. Whether you are religious or not, this is a must visit. My review will not do this place justice. You just have to come and see for yourself. 1. Admission is free but you have to reserve a time online for weekends and holidays. Parking is free as well. 2. No picture or video taking allowed inside. Please respect this. 3. Do not miss any of the short films shown throughout the small theaters. 4. Check the website for the strict dress code. Sarongs are offered if needed. 5. No shoes allowed inside. The marble floors were spotless. 6. Visit the gift shop before you exit because there will be no reentry. 7. Donation boxes throughout. Please be generous. More exciting things are still being constructed like a museum on the upper levels to be completed by the end of 2026. Nightime offers a much different vibe with the lights. I plan to visit again with my son when he comes back this summer.

Thanks to one of our relatives who pointed us to this temple. This Hindu temple has deities in the forms worshipped in the eastern part of India - Kolkata. They deities look so beautiful to the eyes and wonderfully adorned in silk clothing. The temple has a large hall and at the farther end of it has the deities lined up from left to right. The priest warmly welcomed us and invited us to visit in the future again. They have a decent parking space and mandates mask-wearing. I'm not sure if this place is handicap-friendly as there are few stairs in order to climb to the ground level.

In the basement, activities take place. They have their website where activities list are placed and they are very punctual about timings of Puja. Unlike other Pujas in NJ, they don't force you to make a donation ( though we do our part whenever we visit). if you are in a nearby area, you should consider coming to this temple once. we love to keep coming here

It is a serene and spiritually uplifting place. The temple's architecture is beautiful and meticulously designed in traditional style. The deities are adorned with care, and the ambiance promotes peace and devotion. Temple has 16 Sannidhis for deities Venkateswara (Balaji) Sridevi, Bhudevi, Garuda, Ganesha, Ambika, Nandi, Siva Lingam, Ayyappa, Subrahmanya, Satyanarayana, Durga, Saraswati, Lakshmi Narayan, Radha Krishna, Rama, Anjaneya, and Navagraha. Cafeteria operates from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm on week days, 9.30 am to 5.30 pm over the Weekend. Cafeteria schedule may vary during other Holidays. The temple is well-maintained, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. It's a wonderful space for prayer, cultural events, and community gatherings. The venkateshwara deity in the temple was as beautiful as the one in Tirupati. The temple also has several other deities that are all presented so beautifully. Blessed to have visited this temple. The priests at the temple are friendly, knowledgeable, and provide detailed guidance during rituals and poojas. They are respectful of individual preferences and ensure that each devotee feels welcomed. Their dedication to the services, from small personal prayers to larger ceremonies, truly adds to the spiritual essence of the temple. In terms of facilities, the temple has a canteen that serves traditional South Indian food, which is simple yet flavorful, giving a true taste of home. The meals are well-prepared and reasonably priced, adding a comforting touch to your visit. The cleanliness and organization of the dining area are commendable. One of the most appreciated features is the ample car parking space, which makes it very convenient for visitors, especially during busy festival times. The parking is well-organized, and there's enough room even on weekends and during major events. The temple shop is cute and has lots of culturally significant stuff. The temple also offers other services like cultural programs, and spiritual counseling, making it a community hub beyond just a place of worship. Overall, Sri Venkateshwara Temple provides a complete experience--spiritually uplifting, culturally enriching, and well-equipped for all its visitors. Definitely worth visiting for anyone looking for a divine experience in a welcoming environment.
