On May 16, I was in town from Northern MN for a family wedding. I decided to treat myself to a manicure. Now, I have not had a manicure at least since before the pandemic. After doing some Internet research, I decided to book an appointment with SahLan Nails and Spa. I was greeted by a very nice receptionist and she showed me where I needed to put my shoes and to put on sandals they provided as they wanted to keep the main part of the salon really clean. She showed me my options for nail color. Now for someone who has not been in a nail salon for years, it was extremely overwhelming and unbelievable. Tiffany P was my manicurist and I have to say my experience, hands-down, was the best I have ever had. Tiffany heard me talking with the receptionist about OPI and we decided on a lovely bright red. Tiffany explained to me the difference between a manicure I would normally get and a gel manicure. Tiffany told me that when I walked out of the salon, my nails would be completely dry. I was sold on trying a gel manicure! The spa music was relaxing and Tiffany was so nice, outgoing and friendly. She was professional and performed her magic doing my manicure. It was like a miracle! It was hard for me to believe my nails would be dry but Tiffany made a believer out of me. It is now June 1, my nails look as beautiful as the day I left the salon other than they have grown out. My family is getting tired of me telling them how beautiful my manicure looks. If only I lived in Eau Claire, I would be going back to Tiffany, as Tiffany calls it: maintenance not luxury! I highly recommend SahLan Nails and Tiffany! Next week, I head to Lincoln, NE for another wedding, another manicure at a "new to me" salon. It is a very clean and caring salon. My favorite part is how relaxing it is- the spa music and the cozy vibe. You can tell how clean it is too, and organized. This place is pretty good when it comes to cleanliness, the only issue there is, is when staff goes outside to smoke they don't remove their shoes or wash their hands most of the time when returning. I spent A LOT of money here over the last year and recommended the shop to any and everyone. And the staff WAS awesome until you have an issue. A tech did a horrible job on my nails, I was not happy and after I complained they treated me differently! They were not professional AT ALL! Hi! this was my first time getting my hands done and i was a little pleased with my service. i had an appointment and waited 20 extra minutes for my nail tech to be available with no explanation given to me. i did notice the gel put on my dipped nails chipping away after the first day, as well as a hair from the towel she had my hands on painted onto one of my nails. the nail tech filed my skin open on three of my fingers while shaping them (photos of two, the third can actually been seen on the photo the salon posted earlier), causing them to open and bleed later in the day while i was at work. i paid $100 and did not get my cuticles touched, was given no lotion on my hands, or offered anything for cleaning the dust/chunks off of my fingers/nails. i had an idea on how i wanted my nails done and was charged $20 for it without being told that there was an extra charge. then nail tech did not speak with me besides thanking me for my patience but spoke with those around her, which is fine but she seemed to not hear me when i had input on how i wanted my nails done. the nails are beautiful and done perfectly, however i was not to impressed otherwise. for a place that has such high appreciation in this city i had no problem giving a little extra money but there was a lot of problems. :( read more

I was visiting my folks in Eau Claire and came to this establishment looking to recover from a bad shellac manicure job I got in Vegas. I came here after finding this place and what looked to be genuine, glowing reviews of a new nail salon...so I took a chance. First off, the interior is super homey yet clean. A great start. Next, my nail technician was very friendly and was a great conversationalist. She took extreme care in making sure every detail was on point with my shellac manicure. The combination of great service, cleanliness, and atmosphere deserves 5-stars. I will definitely be coming back on my next trip home to Eau Claire! read more

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Sahlan Nails & Spa. I got a pedicure and it was the easily the best one I've ever had. All the employees were friendly, the establishment was super clean and decorated cute. Because they mostly work by appointment, I didn't feel rushed or that there was a sense of urgency, like another person needed to come and fill my chair as soon as I was done. I have given this nail salon a chance 4 times. As somebody who regularly gets my nails done and tips well, I like to feel welcome. I do not feel welcome in this environment and the gel extensions on my nails broke off in 3 days. There is a man who works there who does a great job though and is very kind, I just don't remember his name. Even then, the tips still broke in a matter of days. Maybe don't go here if you're a fan of longer nails. read more

Hands down the BEST nail salon! I have been to every single one in eau claire! This is a spa experience. They have great customer service. They dont ignore you while talking to their coworkers. And they work hard to keep your nails healthy. I wont go anywhere else! I love that they have normal comfortable chairs instead of those uncomfortable pedi chair machine things that always hurt my back. I am short so I could never fit those. Overall, this is a nice place and it was not a bad experience. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff was very friendly. However, I do not feel the service was worth the amount charged. I got a pedicure and the color is beautiful, but I made for the signature pedicure but did other than my toes being a pretty color afterwards, my feet were just as dry and rough as they were when I went in there. There was no nail trimming or callus removal. The hot stone massage was just hot stones placed under the arch of my foot not a "foot & calf hot stone massage" that they state as the service provided. The exfoliation was just something put on my legs and wiped off right away. read more
