I think my Dad did the best summary of Sahib when he said, "it does exactly what you want it to." That's just the attitude most people have towards this brand of sit down Indian restaurant, as you tend to visit them for their familiarity rather than their flare. Sahib is arguably Lymm's premier Indian restaurant just ahead of Bahji's, as it consistently provides great quality food at very reasonable prices (approx £15 pp). However, the difference in quality between the two competing establishments is seen in their restaurant facilities: Bahji's has none.
Having eaten there many times I can vouch for the reliability of Sahib's kitchen. Whether I was taking someone on a date or bringing the family I'd be comfortable in the knowledge that Sahib will always do the business food-wise. The only issue I've experienced is the poor quality wine but if you stick to beer you'll be fine. With excellent service and a tasteful interior Sahib is easily recommendable. read more
