More like this, please. What a quirky, fun stay. Sagebrush is nothing fancy, in a little town with only a few amenities, but this hotel is exactly what you might want for an offbeat and quiet stay. I never actually saw anyone during the check-in/check-out process. You give them your information, pay, and then you get a text with the check-in code for your room. No key to lose or non-working card key. The code is changed after every stay. The rooms are bigger than usual hotel rooms, so there's little chance of feeling cramped. There's a coffee maker with coffee and tea bags, a small refrigerator and a microwave. The smart tv has many viewing options, and the wi-fi works very well. The beds/pillows are comfortable, the water in the shower is hot and the pressure is good. There's also a coin-operated laundry on the premises. In the morning, there's a continental breakfast in the lobby. but still no one at the desk. The office is monitored by cameras. and if supplies get low, someone will likely be around to re-stock. There is a phone number available connecting to the manager for emergencies or when, like me, you don't see the text message with the check-in code and you're having a whiskey-tango-foxtrot brain freeze trying to figure out how to get inside your room. Wonderful! We have already recommended it to other families planning to visit Montana! Super friendly staff, housekeeping was especially accommodating. They have mobility accessible rooms. It's a very short walk to the library, accessible by sidewalks. Complementary bikes on property. Bring your own bike helmet if you wish to have one. Coin operated laundry, very conveniently located. This is the first review I have ever written for a business. I work in construction putting in fiber optic internet all over the country and essentially live in hotels in small towns 75% of my life. The people of Broadus in general have been wonderful and the folks at Sagebrush have been amazing through and through. They personally responded to every question or concern I've had. Even when I rolled back into town after forgetting to book a room, they had a room ready within a couple hours and have gone out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Also, they provide a giant tub of recycled quarters for guests to do laundry. This is local business and hospitality done right from my experience. read more

This motel has all the friendly charm you could hope for out of a historic Montana small town. It also boasts the cleanliness and upkeep you normally only find in a national chain. They have bicycles right outside to go see downtown Broadus a block away. In a city, those would grow legs and walk off, but here they were clean and well-maintained. Not even a piece of fluff sticking out of a seat. The pull out couch was surprisingly comfortable, and our room had a cool little back porch to complement the central gazebo. And breakfast goes right up until checkout time! Seriously, you cannot go wrong. read more

Stayed here on May 3, 2024. What nice little place in the middle of...almost nowhere. We chose Broadus as it was the halfway point between two places we were travelling, so stayed. It was very clean, amazingly there's hardly anyone on site, they send a door code, you go into the room when you get there and...that's it. Small but clean and comfortable, perfect for an overnight stay. Continental breakfast was good too, self serve until 11:00 a.m. - love that! Most places shut it down at 9:30 a.m., so was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay again and probably will! read more

My advice to my dad: let's stop a little earlier than anticipated so we don't end up in one of those tiny little towns searching for a place to stay. My dad: don't argue with me I'll stop when I want. Ooookkkaayy. Enter Broadus Montana. Population under 500. And I'm thinking no way we'll find a decent place. Then this little inn popped up in my google search and truly saved the day. It is family owned and we were very thankful they answered so late at night. The inn is close to the highway for easy access. The office is nice and has a lounge that is open 24 hours. In the morning they have coffee, yogurt, and a selection of pastries. The rooms are really nice with a small kitchen with a fridge and microwave. The bathroom was large with extra soft towels and everything was very clean. They also allow pets which was very convenient! With the accommodations, friendly service, and can't beat price, this place is truly a gem that should not be overlooked while traveling through good ol Broadus, MT. read more

This place is a gem on the prairie! Cute, well thought out and everything is wonderful. Great communication with the personnel, they give you a room code for the door, rather than a key. This allows for remote check in. They can work with you by phone or text or email. Laundry on the premises (free), fridges in the room, with freezer. We got The King and the bed was great. Coffee and Tea 24/7. Cereal, oatmeal, bagels, fruit and donuts from 5 am to 11. Walking distance to everything in town. A good pizza joint in an old theater and a bowling alley. Great place to spend a night or two! read more

There aren't words that truly convey how pleased the hubby was with the Sagebrush Inn. From the simplistic key code text to the Keurig​ coffee pods and pastries and the pristinely cleaned room-he didn't want to leave for his travels home to the east coast. Never be deceived​ by small town offerings, Jenni texted us her suggestions for dinner and he chose the Powder Lanes Grill-the country-fried steak was delicious!! Special attention to every detail to include the superb cleanliness is noticed throughout the site. Fantastic little motel! We weren't sure what to expect from a small motel in quiet little town, but you can tell that the owners really care about their customers and that was reflected in the motel. Contactless check-in was a breeze, the room was clean, and there were so many delicious grab and go breakfast options. We regularly drive thru this area and this will now be our motel of choice. The place to stay if you are passing through Broadus. This small town was in the perfect midway point of our long drive, and it is sleepy and close knit but we enjoyed our brief stay. The Inn is spotless and comfortable, and the staff are not always on site but easily reachable via text. There was a very nice continental breakfast in the morning, the coffee was good, there were fresh local donuts, many cereals and fresh fruit. This is a wonderful hotel, it is off of the beaten path, but was clean. quiet and comfortable. My husband fell almost instantly asleep on the bed (he doesn't sleep well anywhere except home), and the shower was one of the best he has had in the last 19 days he has been travelling. They have a COVID friendly no contact reservation system and offer a continental breakfast and coffee. My husband is a hot shot truck driver, so he has seen a lot of hotels in his travels and this is one of his favorites. He appreciated that they had enough parking for him and his truck and trailer as well. The staff was friendly and professional. We will definitely stay there again! read more

Cute little hotel in a nice little town. We needed a place to crash after a long day of driving and were thrilled to find this place online. Locals were very friendly. Room was nice, clean and new. Pet friendly with a nice little grass area and outside BBQ grill. Had a great night sleep and a nice bagel from the continental breakfast in the morning. Warning: Verizon and Straight Talk (AT&T Compatible) don't work in the area. The local phone companies have the towers locked down pretty tight :) read more

I rode into the city trying to find a place for my son and I to stay for the night. I read the reviews for the hotel which seemed to have great reviews. I had been traveling for 10 hours and my son was getting very tired. I pulled up at the hotel around 7 pm and there were about 5 cars in the gravel parking lot. I didn't see any lights on in the lobby. There was a lady walking by and I asked her which way was for Check in and she stated that she never saw any one just always contacted them by phone. She told me there was a number on the door to call. So I did. I was told that they were all booked for the night.. and I found that interesting because and only 5 cars in the parking lot. I said okay and called another number that was listed... same thing the hotel is all booked. I said wow.. as I walked out the little lobby area there was a room and I just happened to look down at the door and guess what.. VACANT!!!!!! I walked to the next door vacant.. and the next and the next.. ALL Vacant.. so they lied.. both women lied.. for what reason I don't know.. thanks for turning away an infant... I'm sure you all are proud of that. read more
