Sage is awesome. As the name implies it is a mobile pet spa so she comes out to see you. She truly loves Dogs and takes care of ours as if it is her own. Prices are reasonable and our dog comes out looking top top each and every time. The van she comes in has everything imaginable and is perfect for apartments because you do not need water hookups. Sage has come twice now, once for my Pom and once for my long-haired shepherd and BOTH of my puppies (10 and 9 months respectively) have ADORED her. I found Sage to be a warm and caring person as well as knowledgeable about dogs and grooming. I wanted the Pom to be groomed according to breed standards (this wont matter to everyone but to some of us it's really important) and Sage knew what to do. Her van is impressive, clean and stocked with every little thing your dog could want or need for her/his pampering session. As the first reviewer said, her prices are reasonable and she comes to you. The whole treatment for each of my girls took about an hour. I wish there were scratch n'sniff option on yelp because they both smell SO good. Sage has been my groomer for more than 10 years now, she is the BEST! All my dogs loved her. Sage is very gentle and always makes sure that the dogs are confortable while they are groomed. Sage's truck has the state of the art equipments and she uses filtered water to bath the doggies. This is a 5 stars spa for dogs. I recently moved to Calabasas from Sherman Oaks. I had a very reputable mobile groomer that came to my house from Brentwood and she charged me for both of my dogs $100.00. I have a Yorki Poo and a Lab(that doesnt need a haircut) The groomer did everything from hot oil treatments,nail trimming,ears,anal glands etc. I called Sage's Mobile Pet Grooming and she tells me that each of my dogs would be $105.00!!!!! How do you charge the same for a dog that requires a haircut and one that doesnt...her reply was "thats how I charge"! Who does she thinks she is????? And then she has to add further insult by saying "I am not a discount groomer"...what she should say is "I am a rip off and I can do that because I'm in Calabasas" Lots of luck to you!!!! read more

Sage is the most amazing pet groomer we have ever had. My dogs (Briard and Soft-coated Wheaten) love her so much that they whimper to get into her van when they are waiting their turn! If that's not love, I don't know what is! It is obvious that Sage cares a lot about the animals she grooms and she gives them tons of tlc. Sage has now been grooming our dog for over two years and she is truly the dog whisperer. My dog HATES to have her nails trimmed and Sage gets it done every time. She has also groomed my in laws 14 year old Golden Retriever who had serious hip problems. We recently had to put him down due to health problems and Sage went to their house to console them while the process happened. Not only does she make my dog smell amazing for at least four weeks, she also has a heart of gold and genuinely cares about the animals she grooms!!! One would believe that someone who specializes in grooming would understand how to trim a particular breed. Sage Mobile Pet Spa does not. Last night I picked up a dog that I have been contracted to show and put into coat. I was absolutely horrified at the fact that the dog was so poorly trimmed. I understand that pet groomers don't understand lines and function of coat and certainly have no where near the experience I do. But for my client to be charged almost 400 dollars and to have two Newfoundlands that are unevenly trimmed and have coat cut off in places that you would never trim, I was kind of in shock. When the owner was contacted about the service she provided and was extended a helping hand in how to trim a Newfoundland correctly, she became irritate and hung up the phone. I live in the SF Bay Area and was more than willing to take time out of my day and spend my own money to show this individual a few tips in trimming. Furthering education is optimum in any type of service business. Apparently this individual will only be an overpriced pet groomer for the rest of her career. read more

Sage is pleasant and did drive to Simi, so the 2 stars. I found her quite overpriced. She couldn't comb out the few matted spots and ended up shaving my dog!!! In ten years, NO ONE ever had to shave my dog! I'm no groomer, but I can get the mats out. She said my dog shook the whole time. This is also a first. So sorry, won't use again. read more
