Happy, satisfied customer

I've been using Good Dog Mobile Spa for about 6 months now, and they are absolutely the best! I have a shy male French Bulldog with hot spot allergies. The groomers are very patient and knowledgeable, with great advice and recommendations for care between appointments. I love my baby and want nothing but the best for him, and that's Good Dog Mobile Spa!

Fresh haircut!

She did the most amazing job! Our poor furball was all matter with tree sap and we didn't realize how bad it was. He was only scheduled for a bath but the groomer made extra time to give our dog a beautiful hair cut, and now he looks and feels like a puppy again. We have a very neurotic and fearful dog and he just happily and willingly goes to get his baths now, he feels so much better!

This was right before the mobile grooming where he was shaved to the skin, he definitely needed a groom but he's not overly matted

I am extremely late on posting a review on this place as I had received services about 3 years ago…read morewhen I first moved to the area. I hope that the delay in posting stresses how bad it actually was, because I still think about it until this day. And any time I drive past this place I get mad all over again about how much they traumatized my dog (and me because I can't ever trust places like this again, especially because they run a day care too). My dog, a small chihuahua terrier mix, was visiting for a basic grooming and bath. I couldn't imagine it would take more than an hour, so I waited in the lot. When it was past the hour I followed up. They said it will take four hours. Two hour mark came. We receive the call that they had to put him in the kennel because he was biting. I know dog parents say this a lot, but my dog would literally never... he has had baths, and yes, he is scared of blow drying (which we have received feedback on before, but never to the point of biting or causing harm). Otherwise he does very well. So now just imagine... your scared baby, fearful and soaking wet in a kennel waiting to "air dry" all because of some incompetent staff that doesn't know how to groom small dogs. Sitting there for the remaining two hours since it apparently takes four hours to groom a dog less than 15 lbs. And FYI.. we obviously did not go back to this groomer, and went to someone who said he did perfectly fine. He was well behaved and yes scared of blow dryer but not combative at all. If you care about your dog like a child, Please do not ever go here.

I usually end up…read morebeing the one getting the bath, and her nails take us multiple days (one paw a day until she's all done). Because of this, I decided "heck, I can afford for someone else to do this if it makes my life easier." I could not be happier with the deals and multi-visit packages being offered here. For $400, I got a total of 10 visits for the year! Granted, she is on the mini side of things, but if you look at prices literally anywhere else... this kind of deal is unheard of. To top this all off, my Pebbles is an anxious chatty type and a drama queen all in one, which has been a frequent complaint we have received from other groomers since she was a puppy. Here, she's heard and appreciated as a funny little girl with a big heart and personality. I also included some pics of my girl for reference on the price that I paid. AND for all dog parents reading this, keep in mind the price also varies by the weight of your furry friends.

I am extremely sad to give this update, because my dog Dillon has been going to Andy's for a while…read moreand they've always been very good about fitting him into the schedule & just being overall cool people to deal with. He always comes back smelling well and they give him a seasonal handkerchief around his neck. Little touches that made the pricey de-shedding and grooming fees worth it ($125 for a grooming of large dog, 85lbs). I wanted to simply address this to a manager via email to show photos, but their contact form on the site is impersonal and gives no email address and no opportunity to upload photos. On his last visit on Friday, my dog came home panting and not wagging his tail. I just thought he missed me, but it felt out of place, more like a "hyperventilation" type panting. I didn't think anything of it until the next day, as I was petting him, I felt bloody scabs across his head. Till today I find more that's hidden in his long fur. I'm super sad because Andy's has done a great job with his de-shedding, and I know it's no easy task with his fur. But, he is the mildest-mannered service animal for kids with autism. He doesn't bite or bark or squirm, so to have big gashes like this on multiple parts of his skin after a grooming is a red flag. I won't be sending him to Andy's anymore. Very sad about it, but this isn't how you treat a dog or long-time customer. You disclose the cuts and address how to help treat them.

I asked if they knew how to groom goldendoodles and was told "yes". The result was not indicative of that. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. I'm giving two stars because the owner is nice and they are great prices but for us it was a you get what you pay for situation. I do want to note that they asked how they could fix it, but there seemed to not be an understanding of how to get our pup to the look we were somewhat looking for because I understand all costs are different and the picture wasn't entirely possible. So, I declined to take up anymore of their time or mine.

Not to mention, I've been traumatized trying to cut my dog's nails and accidentally cutting them too short I decided to finally hand all of it off to a professional groomer. A friend recommended Moe as a mobile service and after a couple of hikes and two dogs full of dirt, we decided to give it a shot. It was the first time I hired a mobile groomer and honestly, it was great. Communicated all through text and set it up super easy. Moe was reliable and showed up within the promised timeframe. I made sure he had a parking spot for his grooming van and the dogs hopped right in. They got trimmed up with a clean cut and I swear our dogs looked like they lost weight. They smelled great. Dogs were happy, I was happy. Win, Win. Moe was great and did a fantastic job on both dogs. I highly recommend these guys, especially if you're feeling like giving your dog the very best. It was a little more expensive than the store, but it was way more convenient having them come to me. It was worth every penny. Will definitely have them roll through again.

On one occasion, the ear infection was also accompanied by a bacterial skin infection. I shared this as a health concern about my dog, not as an accusation. Shortly after raising that concern, I learned my account had been flagged and I was no longer allowed to book appointments. During my conversation with management, it was mentioned that my dog had shown some "aggressive" behavior. This had only ever been brought up to me once in the past, very briefly and in a way that did not seem serious at the time. There was never any indication over the years that continued service would become an issue. I apologized if my concern came across harshly, but the groomer Julie ultimately decided not to continue service. After a decade as a client, I'm disappointed this was the resolution. My intention was simply to advocate for my dog's health. I also have to be honest that the haircuts were often not quite what I hoped for, but I continued going because they were my dog's first and only groomers until now. Our dogs are our best friends. They rely entirely on us to protect them and speak up for their well-being. I never expected something so important to turn into such an uncomfortable situation. Given how this was handled, I would not recommend this place.. Toby

Updating this from 2 to 3 stars since this was addressed personally by the manager…read more I honestly wish I would have read the more mixed/negative reviews on Google before bringing my rescue dog here. She was testing out the place for a few days and we started off by leaving her 1-2 hours a day, she was nervous of course, as a dog should be going into a new place. The weekend crew were extremely kind to her when she barked and calmed her down. But come Monday, there was a new person in the den and instead of trying to calm an anxious dog, he squirt her with a bottle multiple times to get her to stop barking. Which if you know anything about dogs, you should never do that to an anxious pup. We really liked it up until today, so just beware. Thankfully we were able to watch it all on camera and picked her up the second we felt it was getting out of hand. A note for the owner - please try to find alternative ways to help a dog who is struggling to settle. Spraying them in the face and chest multiple times is an ineffective way to stop an unwanted behavior. This is extremely detrimental to their behavioral development and only causes more fear.

Everyone else understands that a dog who is nervous and barking should be comforted. This guy just keeps spraying water towards the dog instead. She came home soaken wet. I brought my 3-month-old French Bulldog puppy in for a basic wash and nail trim. During the nail trim, her nail was cut into the quick, causing immediate bleeding and she began limping in pain. After bringing her home, the nail continued bleeding and left blood spots on her bed. We were also never informed that this had happened before she was released to us. I understand accidents can happen, but what matters is how they are handled. I called to inform them and explained they should have at least told us what occurred, but no concern or solution was offered. When I asked for a refund for the service, it was refused. At that point it wasn't about the money -- it was about accountability and care for a young puppy injured during a routine service. Pet owners with very young or small dogs should use caution and check their pets before leaving.
