From my first meeting with Ilan Gelberg, he set the tone for a smooth and well organized process. They also have a large showroom, which made it easy to see materials and design options in person and helped bring the vision together. He was also great at helping me source products for the project, which made the process much easier. He was proactive in helping anticipate and mitigate any potential issues and stayed in constant communication throughout to address any questions or concerns. The team was punctual, professional, and consistently showed up on the days and times they committed to, which is something I really value. They remained responsive and solution oriented throughout the project, and I appreciated their attention to detail and follow through. Overall, I would highly recommend them for future projects.

Their attention to detail, thoroughness, and overall customer service have stood out from the very beginning. They genuinely take the time to listen to my concerns, ideas, and vision for the project while also providing expert feedback and recommendations on what will work best for my kitchen remodel. I never feel rushed or pressured -- they make the entire process feel collaborative and professional. One thing I especially appreciated was their willingness to accommodate my busy schedule by coming to my home after normal business hours to go over project planning and design details. That level of flexibility and commitment to customer service is hard to find. So far, my experience with Greenso Services has been excellent, and I'm excited to continue working with them on this project. Highly recommend! Will update with more reviews as the project progresses.

Things like this can become very tedious due to the scope and cost of the project, but after putting it off for almost a year I went ahead and started the process. I like to do my due diligence, so I took the time to look through many companies and spent numerous hours researching who could be possible candidates to use via reviews through Yelp and other sources. I ended up contacting 11 separate companies, which I then proceeded to get quotes from six of them. Of the six, three of them followed up, of the three that followed up, only one of them followed up more than one time. You probably guessed it, it was FreshStart Landscaping that followed up more than one time to see if I had any questions, concerns, etc. That was really appreciated since the project was going to be more than $20,000. Not big, but also not small. My wife, daughter, and I came up with the design that we eventually used for the front and back yard. Juan and David was very accommodating to our design and helped get the assets ready for us to get the design approved by our HOA. After HOA approved our design, I contacted Juan and got our project scheduled. I was pretty surprised that Juan estimated that the time that it will take to complete the job would be five business days. I had multiple neighbors who took at least six times longer, so you can say I was a little skeptical. My skepticism was eased when they started working on the first day. The project was moving along and followed the stated timeline and got done in five business days. One of the concerns that I had was that the shape and sized of the steps that we had designed was going to have to be laid out the day it needed to be set if I wanted it to look as close to the design we created. I had no problem with that, so when the time came David got a hold of me and showed me the options and we decided on what we felt fit best. David was very helpful by offering what he would do if he was me. Of course the final decision was left to me and he did not try to push me one way or another, which I appreciated. The only hitch we ran into were two things. Next to the block wall on the walkway there was two areas that ended up one inch off from eachother. So if you were to look straight down the walkway you'll see a break around two thirds of the way down the one hundred plus line, this was a small detail that was visually very unappealing. The other issue was the walkway in the front that connects to the driveway. They accidentally made it thirty eight inches wide vs the sixty inches as shown in the design. I brought up these two issues on the last day when Juan asked me to walk the job and check things out. When I brought up the issues Juan came out and talked to me about it to confirm what I was mentioning and then he spoke to his workers. After he spoke to his workers and he came up to me and said that he's going to purchase more pavers to widen the walkway and also fix the area with the misalignment, and all that will be done by the end of the day. And guess what, it was all done by the end of the day. No arguing, no pushback. I was so pleased by this. How many companies own up to there mistakes without making some excuse or trying to weasel their way out somehow? I have had my share of companies do exactly this to me in the past. I was so impressed because I have dealt with too many service companies that just plain are willing to break their word to save themselves costs at my expense. Not Juan and David from FreshStart Landscaping. They did what they said they were going to do at the timeline that they said they were going to do it in. They kept their word. The were also very respectful and polite the whole time. They did not try selling me this way or that way like some of the other companies I dealt with. They were very pleasant to deal with and I would most definitely use them again if I happen to have a project that they can be of service to. I forgot to mention that their value was great, they were not the cheapest, but the cheapest didn't have a contractors license either. They were the best price for the value compared to all the other quotes I received, which just makes them that much better. I have included before and after photos, you can see their work for yourselves. I am grateful I found them and got to use them for this project.

How do you get a five star rating without doing any work? Read on…read more To be clear, we did not hire Absolute Paradise Landscaping (APL) at this time. Nevertheless, we felt APL deserved our review anyway. Here is why: First, the company's communications with us were excellent. Our initial meeting was scheduled at our convenience. They were also very clear in identifying and explaining certain limitations regarding our project- a strong indication our general project plan was not just read, but studied in advance of our meeting. Our project was a complete front and back yard redo (including building planters and installing hardscape). I met with Steve, a very personable and knowledgeable individual. I was very impressed with his candor and honesty. He explained to me what his company's licensing authorized them to do and some things about our project that were beyond the scope of their licensing. Imagine, an honest contractor! I respected Steve's candor and integrity for disclosing that during our meeting. It signaled what we could expect in the quality of the work (had we hired APL). I felt APL had our best interests in mind in laying out its capabilities to make our yard dreams come true. I am keeping APL in my contacts for future reference. Reach out to them. When you do, tell Steve you were referred by the guy who never hired him.

Several days later, Kelani and Pono came out and in three days, they had installed about 380'sq2. I liked that their guys didn't rush but moved methodically/systematically make sure to grade it perfectly, carefully lay out the bricks based on color, and even helped me move my pergola off of the old patio. I really liked that theyre locensed, bonded, and insured and their guys are American citizens (as opposed to borderline slave labor recruited from a Home Depot parking lot - I've been in construction for 25+ years so I know the chasm in quality between the two). They showed up on time and got done what they said they'd get done. I didnt have to deal with the "no-call, no-show" only to show up days later as if nothing happened (as the Home Depot parking lot demographic are notorious for doing). A few days after they finished, I sealed it with Eagle Supreme Seal from Lowes, it took about 4.5 gallons of it with a roller. Pictures are attached
