The two dishes that I can very highly recommend are the Prawn Mapas and the Makhni Dal. The only time I've ever had black dal was from Dishoom and I assumed it could never be topped. WRONG. Ok, well I'm not sure if it's better but it's still absolutely delicious. Shoot, that Makhni Dal was really so spicy and creamy and silky and jam packed full of flavours. The Prawn Mapas also. Those spices are seriously special. The yellow tadka dal was still good, but it wasn't quite hitting those notes that the other two were. :) Either way, I was pleasantly surprised by Guglee. I had never heard of them before, and I'm now a big big fan!

My naan came out piping hot, and it was quite fresh. The lamb curry was also good, but I've had better. All of the staff members were very friendly! Additionally, they have free wi-fi, which is a perk for foreigners like myself! I really liked the artwork on the wall. The tuk tuks, pictures of the Taj, etc - reminded me of my trip to India. Ours had a random £15.75 added on in the middle of our string of main dishes. We hadn't noticed until we had already gotten back to our hotel, but seems a little suspect. This is the second time this has happened, once in another restaurant. Is this becoming a "London" thing? Also note their prices for beer and sodas published on their web menu vs what is on their physical menu in the restaurant. It's twice the amount in the restaurant for Kingfisher draft and for sodas.
