Are all Costco's created equally?!…read more I have no idea, but I am constantly exploring new ones when I find them, and this Costco location in Loomis, California is my latest discovery. They've been open for almost a year, and it's taken me literally this long to check it out. This one just feels different and quite frankly I don't know that I can put my finger on it. Maybe it's the way the entrance and exit doors are situated, maybe it's the displays, maybe it's that still fresh feeling... I don't know but I can tell you I like it! This warehouse is incredibly well stocked, and I was able to find items here that I literally cannot and have not ever found or seen in the other warehouses that I shop at. The meat department is glorious! So many different cuts of meat, fish, poultry, I even found ground chicken packaged by Mary's. Mary's is more local to California and has a great reputation for quality poultry. The produce section was a little low, but it's also that time of year when California just doesn't have a lot of produce. Spring is just around the corner... As I perused up and down different aisles, putting more in my grocery cart than I had originally bargained for, it was almost like a treasure hunt, and I've loved every moment of it! If you live in the Sacramento area, where you happen to be driving through or near Roseville, which is just adjacent, shopping here is a great experience. Parking was easy! Yes, you read that correctly. Parking was not a problem. Finding a shopping cart was not a problem. The checkout lines, definitely were not a problem. The cashier was super sweet on top of it. Great shopping experience and definitely worth making this my go to in the area!

I…read moreneeded purchasing eggs: I noted eighteen Heirloom eggs selling for $7.87, the twenty-four pack of organic eggs selling for about the same as the Heirloom eggs then, the typical eggs which I never buy nor bother noticing the selling price. What is prominently noted in my brain: Loomis Costco is the ONLY Costco selling the Heirloom Eggs! Will someone PLEASE explain WHY all the Costcos I have shopped never have the items I want and need at the Folsom Costco, eh?

The lines seem daunting at times but I have never spent more than 15 minutes waiting for my turn to fill up. Avoid peak hours like mid day and you will easily get thru the lines quicker! I appreciate the "new" check out on the pump for requesting receipts, tap access with the Costco card and the attendants are always in sight and available at all hours.

I bought a 3/4 lb filet. By the time I trimmed all the fat off ( Remember, Filets don't have fat.) I had less than 1/2 a pound. not bad! Charge 3/4 of a pound, and only give the 1/2 a pound. This looked like a newer Safeway, the lot's big and clean. It was a hot and sunny day and I used the building for shade which meant parking on the east side of the store. At first, I almost pulled into one of the golf cart spaces! What the heck?! I was kind of confused as there weren't any golf carts parked at the time, so I thought those were regular spots at first and started to pull in only to realize they're tiny spots so I backed up and then saw the golf cart signs. Never seen that. Apparently there's a golf course community right next door so to tap into that customer base, Safeway put in golf cart spots, smart move. Anyways, while the wife and daughter did the heavy lifting of shopping, me and the big boy were more window shopping. The store's big, but probably about the same size as our regular store near Sac City College. This one's got a bigger butcher dept though I feel. I'm always looking at the meats and seafood, but especially the meats, some good prices, and very fresh, too bad we didn't have our cooler with us so we didn't feel comfortable buying perishable meats as we were headed to several other places after this. I also checked out the snacks, cereal, and drinks aisles. All stocked nicely, lots of choices, I liked the sparking water they had on sale out front, decent deal. I spotted a golf cart on the way back to my car, funny to see folks cart over for grocery, reminds me of how it is in Rancho Murrieta too, not that I've been there much, but that town's supposed to be the same way, lots of golf carts. All in all, this is a nice new supermarket. We're regulars at Safeway, so this is a good option to shop at when we're in the area.

This is conveniently located off of curvy a sunrise across the street from Bel Air supermarket This establishment has three different gases to choose from regular and premium and top premium and diesel. These are very affordable gas prices given the economy. This establishment is open every day. I'm not sure about holidays, but they have gas pumps on both sides for your convenience and the quality of gas is great. I drive a Mazda and my car can basically use any gas and I've never had any issues with it and in case you didn't know the gas at Safeway gas pumps is Chevron so it is good gas. If you have not tried Safeway gas I would recommend that you try it out. It's the cheapest gas in town other than Sam's Club great convenient place to fill up if you're on the go one of my favorite places to fill up I highly recommend Safeway fuel gas in Roseville on Herbie sunrise great establishment Very convenient. You must go back in (in person) and request a refund for the unused balance. I've found customer service from staff to be satisfactory, helpful, informative, & sometimes quite friendly with chatting. Sometimes it's hard to get through to speak with staff on the phone & I've gotten put on hold for a while, but that's common at many pharmacies. When I've come, I haven't had to wait in line or have only been behind 1-2 people. There is a waiting area off to the side with comfortable seats. They also have a medication take-back bin. If you get a vaccine, you get a 10% off coupon for grocery shopping. I'm glad to have this Safeway Pharmacy conveniently close to home.

Second went to the only Costco which I thought had the paddle board that I was looking for. I was wrong. Bought a few couples camping chairs for the family. Finally got to this Costco which had the paddle board I was looking for. Edwin was helpful when he pre-checked us while waiting in line then mentions a sale about some dry bags and told us a story that he recently got one too. He was happy to run and grab a multitude of them because of the print. He also helped check us out after our first purchase. Thanks Edwin!

Name Assibullah While I was looking for something in the store, this young gentleman noticed that I needed help and went above and beyond to assist me. He was extremely helpful, respectful, and genuinely committed to making sure I found everything I needed. What impressed me even more was that after helping me, I saw him continuing to work with the same positive attitude, dedication, and enthusiasm. You could tell that he takes great pride in his responsibilities and truly cares about doing his job well. Employees like him deserve to be recognized and appreciated. His professionalism and willingness to help made a real impression on me and reflected very positively on Costco. I hope management takes a moment to recognize this employee for his hard work and outstanding customer service.
