Beyond the normal sorts of products you might expect in a standard corner market, this shop had tons of specialized products, mostly emphasizing "nordic" content. They have a great selection of mustards (mostly German). A fine selection of meads, mostly Danish, but also domestic. And probably the best selection of licorice I think I've ever seen in an American store, more than an aisle focused on licorice. There are the standard varieties, but also some serious salted varieties, including ones I haven't seen outside Finland. Also, lots of other German sweets and chocolates. The staff was really friendly and helpful, and shared my enthusiasm for the great stuff they carried. Well worth a visit. Who knows what you'll end up getting!

There were other things to buy in the souvenir space but I did not pay much attention since I was mainly looking for food. The employees were helpful and friendly. Of course we bought other things but the find of the day was Bob's Red Mill Potato Flakes. We've been looking for product like this every sense Costco stopped selling a similar product. None of the other stores where we shop carry this Bob's Red Mill product. We had a wonderful cashier named Ana who also contributes to the 5-star rating. She was sweet and upbeat, even sharing a bit of her life with us. My wife and I always enjoy when a cashier makes checkout an enjoyable visit instead of, well, just checkout. Not rude, just quite unfriendly and non-communicative, unwilling to answer simple questions. Usually these days there's no acknowledgement from staff when given a friendly "hello" or "how are you today?" by me as a customer. I still shop there because of the location and selection, but these days I avoid saying hello or trying to be friendly with staff. The second they begin acknowledging me again though, I'll be right back to responding in kind with brief friendly normal neighborhood banter like the old days.
