I am so angry I'm shaking. What a horrible store. I'm not sure if it was a red shirt I'm wearing or what it was, but I've never been treated so rudely by anyone in the grocery store in all of my almost half century on the planet. There is no puffcorn, it has been out for several weeks. The chip aisle is half empty not at all like the full aisles at Food 4 Less. If they don't have that brand, they will fax something else but this store does less than the Bare minimum. They had several coolers, but there was no Mountain Dew cold. I took the last Pepsi that was cold. You would think that first thing in the morning it would be better than this, but it isn't. As I walked out, I asked a person with a gray Safeway short who was sweeping by Starbucks can you please get the coolers stocked? I was just so surprised there was no Mountain Dew and very disappointed. He turned around and said to my shock and other amazement no ma'am that's not my job sorry in the rudest tone! Young skinny guy, dark hair goatee, leave him alone because he's mean I decided to turn around and review this please because my feelings matter and so do yours and as I walked in, I heard him talking smack and said, as I walked in, it's not like I can get fired or anything. I feel like a bad person walking out of that store but I was happy when I was coming in absolutely I'm never coming here again. What a terrible store and there's no reason if there's nothing good here how do I come to your store to get insulted, but spend money. Wow please train your employees to not be mean Safeway. I'm shocked I am from Minnesota and we're nice. That was a horrible store. I am shaking and I feel bad about myself inside. I'm not sure why but I don't like to get rejected. Several times is the third employee I talk to you and the only person that was nice to meet was the Frito-Lay vendors they are always nice. Learn from them maybe just a suggestion and please get rid of that employee Sunday morning 7 AM July 23.

They have a great bulk section as well. I always check out the meat department but I don't usually purchase because the prices appear to be higher than anywhere else except the Neiman-Marcus of Southern Oregon, Ashland Food Co-Op. I don't typically purchase meat there either because the prices are even higher unless something is on sale and it's something I need. I love the charming acquaintance of MFC, payed lime green and purple and nestled back in tall beautiful trees and greenery. The feeling when I pull into that parking lot is incredibly soothing -- and it's right on Riverside Drive. Go figure? Everyone who works at MFC is kind, warm, and welcoming. They're also really helpful if I have a question or I need something that they might not sell regularly or I just can't find it in the store. I never have a long wait at checkout because they understand service and a cashier comes up to the front immediately when there is anyone waiting to check out. Very, very impressive! Another thing that I really appreciate is that the store is always spotless and organized as well as 100% organic. I don't have to worry about buying something, driving home, and discovering that I purchased conventional food which I do not eat. MFC generally has the things that I want to purchase and it's very easy for me to efficiently pop in by what I need and get back on the road to finish my errands and go home. I probably shop here three times a week, maybe more because I love to buy things fresh. Please keep up the good work, folks. My husband and I really appreciate you!!!

In a time of both "shrinkflation" and inflation, Trader Joe's does a great job of providing top notch products with competitive prices. I buy a lot of things here, including pasture-raised eggs, half-and-half, whipping cream, organic butter, large 72% dark Belgian chocolate bars that I use in cooking, potatoes, organic produce of various kinds, ground, turkey, ground lamb, turkey at Thanksgiving, prime rib at Christmas, artisan cheese, Australian, red shrimp, the best beef bone broth, as well as chicken and turkey bone broth that I have ever purchased, and many seasonal items. I thoroughly enjoy how sweet, happy -- and knowledgable -- all of the employees are. It is such a pleasure to go there. It's sort of like attending a party with friends while grocery shopping!!! I would give our Trader Joe's 1000 stars if I could. Thank you for all that you do for Southern Oregon.

I visited this location as someone who doesn't live in the area and was shocked to see that the prices are way higher than regular Costco and are equal to or sometimes even a dollar or two more than just buying the exact product at Walmart or Fred Meyer. For the price of 1 loaf of Franz gluten-free bread, $7.79 for less than a dollar more I could go to Costco and get 2 loaves of Canyon Bakehouse gluten-free bread. 14 oz Tajin is $7.99. I can buy the exact same size from Walmart for $6.98. Here, 19 oz Mae Ploy canned coconut cream is $3.49 a can. Walmart online sells it individually and as a 6 pack for $2.58 per can. $3.59 for American Beauty 8 oz manicotti shells here. It's $3.49 at Fred Meyer in Medford. 16 ounces of jumbo Campfire marshmallows here are $3.39 whereas 16 oz Kraft Jet Puffed marshmallows are $2.99 at Fred Meyer in Medford. $8.69 for 24 Flav-R-Pac frozen corn cobettes or $2 for 6 Great Value frozen corn cobettes at Walmart. $14.19 for 2.125 lbs dried hash brown shreds here. Same size at Costco is $8.99. Costco sells in-store and ships #10 sized canned products so I'm confused why people are shopping here when the prices aren't wholesale, they're often slightly higher than retail at the local Fred Meyer and Walmart. There aren't many specialty products here for varied diets or cuisines, so if you're needing gluten-free or something more diverse than soy sauce or tortillas, you're going to need to order from elsewhere. I ended up buying a box of True Lemon (they didn't have the True Lime I came for.) Visited October 2024.
