No acknowledgments at my hello, no acknowledgement of "have a nice day," just cold stone silence. This is why I gave it a four out of five stars.

I ordered a Berrycado smoothie (strawberries, blueberries, avocado, cocoa nibs, and almond butter). The smoothie itself tasted like I was drinking a liquid form of almond butter and the consistency of the smoothie was so thick I couldn't drink it through a straw. When I arrived at home, I discovered solid chunks of avocado in it. If you're looking for a delightful, refreshing smoothie walk across the street to Nalu.

It appears that whatever was causing it (most likely the clogged drain pipe) was quickly fixed, and everything is smelling clean, and back to normal. The checkout still had only 1 line open, but there wasn't much need for more when I came at 11:30am. The clerks smiled and were more cheerful than I had experienced in the past, so always a plus. On the negative side, one of the main reasons I came today was due to the Tuesday special ad items. They unfortunately didn't have one of the items I specifically came for, and after one of the floor clerks checked in the back for me, he said because they "share" these items with Times Market, they often don't receive any; which I think is terrible. It's not the first time, this has occurred, and it's very annoying, and I hope they remedy the situation for more fair and equitable allocation, so it doesn't feel like a "bait and switch" type of situation (I know it's not, but still, very frustrating). I love the self check out stations, because it helps with not having to wait too long in line should you just want to pick up a few items. The day I came here, I stopped by the hot foods deli department & picked up a pound of boneless wings. The safe here at this Safeway was friendly & helpful. Parking here is easy, so getting to the store is easy. There are other businesses surrounded by this Safeway, so after shopping here, it can be a potential one stop shopping experience.

No problems with the registers and I paid with Apple Pay. Cashier was friendly and we talked about the storm to come. Got some sale-priced Tasty Bites meal packages. I got Boulder Canyon chips - also on sale - for the workplace. I don't need to stock up on food.

The store in the Enchanted Lakes neighborhood is clean, but the store appears to be on the older side, as compared to the Safeway store I normally shop at - Kapahulu branch. The folks who work at this Enchanted Lakes store were very friendly & helpful as several workers came up to me offering their help/assistance when I came to the store to fix something in their office. I swear if I lived in the Kailua neighborhood, I would totally shop at this store due to the friendliness of the staff. Parking here is easy, as the supermarket is situated at a small strip mall where the parking is shared by other business nearby.
