The claims office has hung up on me mid sentence so many times that I have to wonder if they're trained to do that if they get too flustered on the phone. Their company is a step above a scam. read more

This company bully's and doesn't pay out. Their client ran into me and they accepted fault. However before I even took my car to the collision center they sent a check for $850 (probably hoping I'd cash it and they'd be done with me). I had a concussion and whiplash and their adjuster all but told me I was a liar. Their photographer manipulated my bumper to make it look like there was no damage. However the collision center pulled the bumper off and not only was the inside of the bumper destroyed, my trunk had damage, and the drop plate under my car was hanging. They are trying to claim their client let off the gas and bumped me when in reality I was at a red light and he hit me without ever breaking. DO NOT try to recoup money from them. Go through your insurance company and your insurance company will make them pay. Also, if you have medical bills and/or lost wages, you will have to get an attorney. Only getting 1 star because you have to choose to post. read more

If you are looking for employment with Safeway insurance, I highly recommend that you LOOK ELSEWHERE. As I was trying to secure a job with the company through the hiring boss ELIZABETH GEORGE, she made me jump through hoops just to get what she was asking for. She first requested MY W2'S in which what company does this, so I did not have them, so she sends me the link for the IRS in which I acquired what she was asking for, not to mention I went down to the IRS office just to try and get these docs for her and they still did not suffice. So then she wanted me to put the years from 6 years back with supporting docs in which I did provide and she still did not accept this. I was doing everything in my power to get this done for her, not to mention my stress level and my blood pressure going up from this situation!!! I have did everything that was requested of me not to mention TAKING TIME OFF WORK TO GET THIS DONE. So if you are looking for employment in this company please visit the IRS department first and do her job for her!! Best Regards!! read more

These negative car insurance people working for Safeway Auto Insurance are the worst we have ever had to deal with! They make you wish you had never met them. They will put you off. They will not return phone calls or messages left. The other driver that rear ended our vehicle had Safeway Auto Insurance. This was like punishment to us - even though the other driver was clearly at fault- the Safeway Neanderthals gave us a living hell for nearly a month. We filed a complaint with the AZ Insurance Commission on these rotten business people. We hope you are never subjected to our nightmare. read more

A -1 star This is a tar rabble company. The have no intention of serving customers or fulfilling obligation. This is the facts, you decide. I was broken down, parked with blinkers on, off the road as fare off on the shoulder of the road as possible, without rolling down the mountain. I was waiting for AAA to arrive. I saw in my rear view mirror head lights swerving back and forth, it was hit. The nightmare begins. I was asked to send information to Safeway. I did so, several times. They did not receive anything until I sent it by registered mail, then they got it. Each time I called, the agent was not in, on vacation, out sick, or with a client, I also had the wrong agent. My case had been given to someone else. I thin in all I had about 5 different agents. At a year I was becoming upset. Made further efforts to see what was the mater. Problem was the ambulance service. I found out which service and gave them the information. About 7 or 8 days before the end of the 2 yrs they finely settle. Informing me if I do not sign, they are no obligated to do anything because of the statutes of limitations. I signed. Now it is August 2015, accident Jan. 2013. I have Medicare and AARP. They were to be paid back. I gave them, at the time I signed the papers, all the information, including the amount to pay Medicare. They were surprised I paid the bills, at the time. Somehow they thought everyone will wait for them to pay up. I received a letter from Medicare that I ow them, pay or they will turn it over in the IRS for collections. It is clear, that Safeway is not a good company. I am on SS and am 68 yrs old. I have lived in pain for months with a concussion, neck had headaches. Doctors and chiropractors only time could take care of it. They gave me $1,200.00 for it. Those I talked to told me to expect figures between $5,000 $10,000 from their experience. I have no idea of their situation so I really do not know if that amount is reliable, so I had no expectation. You can not show pain, you have only my word. Now I can only assume, by their action on inaction I was low balled. I have never never sued anyone, or ever had to hirer a lawyer except for wills, and 1 devours. Advise, don't be like me... Get a lawyer. I gave State Farm. I never been hit or in an accident. My dad was, he had State from, from 1932, his first car. In the late 60's a car ran a red light hitting his car. He was driving a Ford, State Farm, gave him a new Continental, because, he had never filed a cline for anything, he was a good customer, his records indicated he usually owned 2 Continents ( his and his wife). This is clearly unusual to be so generous for them, so they said, but to repeat, almost 40 yrs of insurance for all his cars, and all his insurance needs. They said it was their way of saying thank you. read more

This insurance company gave us the runaround. One of their customer had an accident with my husband. The adjuster took close to two weeks before making any contact with us. It's been 4 days from being a month and I still don't have my car fixed. Their first excuse was they had to have pictures of the vehicle. We send pictures to the adjuster and she stated we send the pictures to the wrong email we send them to her personal email instead of the company email well all she had to do was forward them to the company email but she wanted us to send them to the company email and we did so just as she asked. we didn't hear from her until i emailed her and asked had she got the pictures Mind you we send the pictures on the 19th we didn't hear anything from her until the 26 after I emailed her and asked her did she get the pictures. Their rates is terrible. They continue to use stalling tactics. Don't use theses people for car insurance you will be sorry if you do. read more

ZERO STARS!!!! Currently placing MAJOR complaints on this "company". I STRONGLY SUGGEST TO FILE A COMPLAINT AT (YOUR) STATE INSURANCE DEPARTMENT. This will bring the big guys in. Hopefully, this will cut out all the rotten apples from this "company". There's no way this can be a legitimate company, considering how they run this establishment. As all of the previous reviews have stated, they do NOT answer their phones, nor return calls. Fortunately, I guess- I live fairly close to their physical location in AZ, so I have been able to somewhat control and maintain my claim- by going in once or twice a month to speak with the adjuster I was given, to make sure everything is going "smoothly". Everytime, she always tells me the same thing, still waiting, still waiting, oh they had your info to send over but never sent it.. lol no SHE NEVER CALLED ON IT! I shouldn't have to waste my time and gas to keep up with a claim that wasn't my fault. I felt like I was doing this "adjusters" job for her. The adjuster I've had since June 2016 is SHERRI ENGLEHARD. I went in yesterday to follow up on my settlement, I expressed my concerns with her telling her, I'm irritated that this is taking so long and how I don't appreciate the inconsistency in her communication with me this whole time. She cuts me off, and begins to throw low-balls, as she begins to raise her voice, she states that I have had communication with her every week when i come in, that this isn't her fault that it's taking so long, blah blah blah. When I try to tell her that if I didn't come in the once or twice a month (not every week how she dramatically claimed lol) I would still be clueless and SOL on her behalf. At this point, she cuts me off again, and begins to yell at me, stating that, I will not argue with you! lol... So i raised my voice to her saying, then why are you yelling at me?! lolol- this lady is a joke. As she continues to argue/ yell at me- in her place of work, she's waiving her hands in my face- as if to dismiss me, gets up as if to walk away from me without providing me with any answers, etc. EXTREMELY RUDE, AND UNPROFESSIONAL! read more
