The store is well organized and open late: There is a variety of food. There were some great deals so make sure to sign up for the free membership. The workers were friendly.

Don't be fooled it's not a full tube and yes the sticker is a lot wider than it used to be!! That's so they can hide their deception!!

Do you remember buying these received minis and Hershey kiss sticks for your kids for Christmas stocking stuffers or Valentine's Day? Didn't they always have a full tube? What kind of shrinkflation crap is this? This is not only heartbreaking, it's disrespectful!! Safeway you have broken my trust and you should be ashamed!! ‍ I am so very disappointed in you and the choices you've made!!! ‍

Love this organic salad mix -perfect combination and great taste.

The herb Salad is great. - Organics brand. Stays fresh for over a week! Not soggy, so many bigger containers wilt after a few days Good size for small family or couple/single. I go out of my way to buy it at Safeway- a quality item. Some great produce and sales in the vegetable department too.

This entire time, I had been buying salad in a box by the front entrance. Little did I know that they had these Taylor Farms salads in the back, near the vegetables section. These Taylor Farms salads are significantly better and more affordable. However, be sure to check the expiration date before purchasing. I once had a terrible experience when I bought a salad in a box and there was a small caterpillar inside. I prefer self-checkout to avoid dealing with cashiers. Most of the time, it works out well.

Safeway delivery is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! Ordered $137. Groceries cut the week... received 6 bags.... 2 bags of detergent - (correct, ) 2 bags of someone else's order , frozen items & dairy item's (WRONG) 2 bags of spinach, tomatoes & avocados (correct) MISSING: salmon, steak, romain lettuce, dill, mint, olive oil..... (WRONG) ROUGHLY $70 of order was not received!!!! I have had so many problems with Safeway orders that I stood outside my home, with the driver and went through the bags with him. We circled all missing items! Somehow...2 weeks later... still fighting with customer service on fraudulently charged items!!!!!!! Problem so bad, I had to place an order with Whole Food for sand kittens on same day... in order to have dinner. This cost my $234.00, 1 week of groceries..literally 3 pieces of meat and veggies for salad. I do have receipts and pictures.... Safeway delivery is a joke!!!! Hard Pass!!!!!

This is my weekly neighborhood grocery store. I stop here every week, but I have not gone into the store in over 3 years. I exclusively use Drive Up & Go, I order online and the staff brings it to my car. It's doesn't get easier than that unless it's delivered The staff is alway very nice and friendly.

Chat showing times. Less than one minute I replied. 2 minutes later, Safeway employee just signed out and ignored my reply. Marked it out of

Almost every time i place an online/delivery order, the employee shopping the order seems incompetent. IE: out of 4 different sizes of the same cereal, they send a chat of what substitution I would like if out of the size I chose. So, within one minute, I answer the biggest one available. Chat says "shopper has finished your shopping and signed off". Nothing. Just marks it out of stock and ignores my quick reply. It's like that often at this location. Their prices went up also. Now they're incompetent and same priced as everyone else. Save yourself frustration and pay doordash or instacart to shop and deliver. They actually stay on chat to update you as they go.

KSM is one of those ethnic markets where you can spend a dreamy time wandering the aisles, unlocking the variety of Asian food products from, Korea, Japan, China, to start. The produce section feels more like an indoor farmers market with its carefully curated and stacked fresh produce. Their varieties of rice alone is worth a visit. Loved the ramen aisle with its varieties. Note if buying noodle packs in bulk, they're located in the front of the store by the cashier stations. Their meat and seafood market in the back, also well-curated, offers cuts of beef, pork or seafood for stirfry, hot pot or barbecue. We were regulars with the pre-marinated beef short ribs, ready for the BBQ. Pick up some Kim Chee, banchan and make a pot of rice. Makes for a nice meal! KSM also offers hot prepackaged meals, sushi, banchan, to go. There also a small eat-in cafe located next to the takeout. You can order hot tofu soup, K-style fried chicken wings along with their barley tea. KUKJE SUPER MARKET was a staple while living in SF and continues to be staple in Daly City. See you there!

Like Costco, they also have sampling stations throughout the store. During this visit, I sampled barbecue ribs, instant noodles, and cold noodles. The cold noodles were delicious, and I'll definitely pick some up on my next grocery run. This time I bought vegetables and noodles, but the beef, pork, and lamb looked fresh and tempting. I'll definitely be back when I make Korean hot pot. The store is open daily from 8 am to 10 pm, which is convenient. As for the store itself, it was clean and well organized, but like the lot, the store is busy like an ant farm. Plus, inside they also had a few free samples which added to that constant movement and energy. While there are a handful of familiar items you'd see in a typical U.S. chain grocery store, most of what's on the shelves isn't traditionally carried in those stores. That's really the point here. The selection here is a wonderful variety, and honestly, massive, from Korea and the other Asian markets. I can't read the characters on the packaging, but with a little time (and Google Translate), I was able to find some upscale brands that are completely new to me. The best way I can describe this experience to people who might not understand, or an experience like this would be new to you, is that if you're old enough to remember, think back to when Stoli was considered a top-shelf Vodka in most American stores. Then walk in here and you'll realize there's a whole world beyond Nissan Top Ramen. It's not that anyone is new to grocery stores, but this is a supermarket in the true sense of the word. This is scale, variety, and specialization all in one place. The selection is immense. It feels less like a quick grocery run and more like a place you go to explore. PS - As for the attached food court, there are only 2 restaurants left open and 1 bakery. I have dropped a review of one of the restaurants.

Then I showed Manila Oriental Market to her and since then, we hit up this store first before Ranch 99 because they have more Philippine items. Located in Daly City's King Plaza, free parking is available in the shopping centre's private lot. Sometimes you can find a spot to park right in front of the store. During weekends, you might need to wait for an available space. Heads-up - the rows of parking spaces facing the Manila Oriental Market are tight, so not the easiest for big automobiles to get out of a spot during peak time. Cleanliness of the interior of the store can be fair to needs improvement. What's worth pointing out is that one of the main areas that could use a good cleaning is the corner where you can order hot food, which really should be the cleanest part of the shoppe. Luckily, there isn't a weird smell, not even in the seafood department. This market carries produce, meat and a wide selection of seafood, plus imported groceries at reasonable prices. Mom can usually find the international fruits, veggies and products that she needs here. When she can't, searching for specific items has shown to be a bit challenging because of the language barrier with the staff who do not speak English or have heavy accents. Oddly, this Filipino grocery store has no Filipino employees.
