this store has gone so downhill. They're getting rid of all of the things people would want and replacing it with organic options which are more expensive. Not to mention you can hardly find any help and don't ask any of the older ladies because they'll just have an attitude when you can't find anything in THEIR store!! seems like everyone who works here doesn't want to work here and i'd be the same way if i were that age and working in a grocery store too tbh. Stopped in for a couple of items mid day and again not enough checkers to accommodate everyone. Not only that but one of the checkers decided to turn her light off and let everyone wait. I get it may be her break but what happened to customer service? Why doesn't management have enough people ready to step in to check out during crowded periods. Seems King Soopers has them beat hands down when it comes to checking out. Not to mention a much better selection and lower prices. With all the growth out here it's too bad King Soopers hasn't made a presence. I would still rather drive a bit farther to get better selection, price and better service checking out. I absolutely LOVE this super market. When you walk in there's a Starbucks in the front and then as you walk through this large store you'll find many options for each of the foods. The produce area is very large with a wide variety of quality fruits and vegetables, both organic and not. As you browse the store they have many options for gluten-free, organic and non-gmo products in almost every aisle. I don't think there's anything you will need that this store doesn't carry, not to mention friendly employees. read more

I am from Pueblo, I have grown up in the NASTIES places, but I have never ever been to a place so GHETTO, RUDE and UNORGANIZED in my life. The shelves are constantly empty, they never have enough, or the right stuff. There is no staff to be found in that place doing their job or helping. There are never any checkers at the registers, everyone has to use self check out. This Safeway wants to act like they are some high class company when really they are straight nasty and ghetto. Let's not even get started on how HORRIBLE their little wanna-be Starbucks is in there. Walmart looks like a fucking God compared to this place. First off the store manager has no sense of business ethics. She has me come in to an interview there and can't do her job because she was busy creating the facad for corporate so I was told to wait a half an hour. I had to go to the dmv so agreed to come back. So after I left the dmv I call her to let her know I'll be On my way. She said she wld be there. I ended up being 10 minutes late due to traffic. She just leaves. No notification nothing. It's a 30 min drive. At least set a time where you will have something set in stone to work around. This is a prime example while I'll never shop or work for safeway again. Not to mention they try to cover up there seafood smell by pouring listerine into the service case to mask the smell........ also to maintain there shrink at the end of the night they refreeze there crab legs and lobster tails. That's just the tip of the ice burg. I have a whole scroll of violations for this company that wld leave you baffled. Especially being the second biggest grocer in the country. read more

My husband and I were in Safeway this evening it was 6 o'clock and there was only one checker. We had to use the self check. It was a disaster. Every time we tried to ring something up the attendant would have to come over and fix it. She kept apologizing. We finally left everything there and walked off. This is the third time that this has happened to us. I will not be back. Safeway has lost a very good customer! King sooper can't get here fast enough!!!! read more

We ordered two custom cakes from the bakery for our anniversary. The order process was simple and fast, and the cakes were beautiful as well as delicious. The first cake was chocolate with whipped white frosting, and a raspberry filling, with one of our wedding photos somehow reproduced in the frosting! Amazing! The other was a traditional white cake with buttercream frosting and raspberry filling and a pretty design on the top. I would order from them in a heart-beat-custom cake at a very reasonable price! read more

What an amazing store! The staff is super helpful and today I was shopping with an infant and Catherine opened another checkout line so that they could get me through faster and even helped me unload my shopping cart. As we have done in the past, tonight, we called ahead to order the fried chicken dinner. Due to the number of guests, we ordered 4 8-piece meals. We expected to bring home 32 pieces of chicken, 16 dinner rolls, and 2 lbs of sides. My husband was given 16 pieces. When he told the deli worker we ordered 32 pieces, he was given their last 5 pieces and nothing else. Despite asking for the dinner combo, he was sent away with only the 21 pieces and nothing else. My husband explained that the worker was so overwhelmed, he didn't even want to address the sides. When we called to discuss the situation, we spoke with the manager Jasmine. She immediately started working to rectify the problem. Not only did she offer to refund the previous order, she also had 32 fresh pieces made AND said it would be delivered to our house! The delivery took a bit longer than expected, but Assistant Manager Nicholas called to let us know AND gave us closer to 50 pieces. This is excellent customer service! We were pleasantly surprised with the initial refund as well as the delivery to our door. Jasmine and Nicholas were extremely professional and showed outstanding customer service after a big disappointment that could've ruined our evening. read more

We landed in Denver and drove an hour and half to Peyton to stay with sister in-law. There is beautiful,majestic country up there. But it sucked ass because there wasn't a Starbucks ANYWHERE! I mean, no Starbucked store, no drive-thru. NA DA. This chicklet needs coffee. I told my dude to pull over and at some "Java Hut". I might as well hooked up a straw to the gas line beause that is what it tasted like. Ahhhhaaahaahhh! Safeway has a Starbucks! A Full working Starbucks with Frapps, Iced and all its caloric splendor!!! Iced Venti Decaf White Mocha with Soy no Whip please. I was so happy I gave them a $2 tip!!! The rest of the store was the updated Safeway look. Nice deli, bakery and floral section. But they have a STARBUCKS in Peyton Colorado!! Love the new floor plan. It added more items and I love this store even more. The items I shop for are always in stock. This location is CLEAN, even when it's raining or snowing outside. There is no WET entrances or store floors. The butcher is so knowledgeable and has suggestions if you are looking for a different cut of beef. Fresh Shrimp, the best I can purchase in a land locked state. Bakery, those ladies are so funny and the bagels are FRESH. Deli, what a great bunch of people. I never stand at the counter waiting more than 30 seconds before someone asks to help. I stop in on my way to work and pick up a salad or sandwich and some fruit for breakfast and lunch. If only a negative 5 stars were available for this place. My wife and I have walked in this store multiple times and received nothing but disrespect and rudeness throughout our shopping experiences. I guess it's ok to treat your military soldiers and their families the way they do, or is it because of something else that my family posses that we feel so unwelcome. They ALL treat you like you are beneath them. I suppose I'm American enough to serve in the military but not American enough to shop at Safeway. Don't waste your time.... read more

I've been shopping here for almost 7 years. I love this store. It's always clean and the meat, veggies are always fresh. I love the pharmacy staff. They are always friendly and know me by name. The other store employees are wonderful with the exception of one. An older woman who works up front. I feel she's racist and has racially profiled my family. I see there's another review with a similar situation as mine. Corporate did nothing to rectify the situation. If it wasn't for that woman the store would be perfect. At first I avoided this store because of what happened. She won't stop me from shopping at my favorite store. I won't give her that power over me. I just avoid her at checkout and go to any one else that's open. read more

The only supermarket in Falcon. I realize Wal-Mart has food too but I don't think of them as a supermarket. Anyway, Safeway is convenient and easily accessible. The store has improved after the remodeling some time ago. Besides regular shopping I like to come in for quick ready to eat food items like rotisserie chicken and salads. The chicken is always flavorful and juicy. Making your own salads is going to be better but in saving time and in a pinch their salads are quite good. The potato salad I had tasted good but potato chunks were finely sliced and made the salad more pureed in consistency - still good flavor, though. Macaroni salad was good too. read more

Good place to buy groceries at a reasonable price and with a wide range of variety to choose from. The negative thing is the dirty female bathrooms. I visited the store twice in the same week to buy groceries and advised the manager of it. afterward, i went back to shop in the following weeks, used the bathroom, and it was dirty. Perhaps a female manager would notice this issue better than the manager I talked to both times. read more

This place is the worst. Poorly stocked, unmotivated employees, and terrible prices. I live across the street, so the location couldn't be better for me; however, I now mostly travel to the new King Soopers on Constitution or go to the nearby Walmart. read more

The bakery is amazing. I've ordered 3 peronalized cakes so far and they've all tasted great and looked great. We've had good luck with the fruit also. Don't recommend the Starbucks inside, but I'm not including that in this rating. The service here is friendly and checkout is convenient. read more
