Quite often the self checkout is the only lane open. They hired someone to check receipts when people leave, they can hire more cashiers. It is pretty clean and not too loud which is nice. read more

We stopped here, while in town, for food for a New Year's Eve feast for six people. We found everything we needed, and more! The filet mignon we bought were tender and lean. They were great cooked medium rare on a grill. We also bought a couple pounds of king crab legs and salad fixings. For dessert a creamy French silk pie with fresh Strawberries. The check out line was fast, considering it was New Year's Eve. We are not from the area, but I would definitely consider them again next time I am in town. Time to switch to Safeway Treated so badly at the deli was told I should be happy that they were there, provided no service they left the counter to go upstairs as though I was invisible, Pharmacist now overrides Doctor's prescriptions and refuses to fill prescriptions even after doctor called to confirm. This is a god-awful place to shop at. Called the manager who said I'm sorry and that's that, Enough is enough!! Changed pharmacies they can keep their lousy points for gas not worth it! Today an employee that seemed to be a manager refused to let me into the bathroom 3 separate times. I waited patiently since he said that there was someone else in there. It's a multi-stall bathroom and I have been let it when there has been someone in there a few times before. I tried to use the back bathroom but it's closed! I've never interacted with this employee before, but I'm not sure why I can't use the bathroom especially when I'm actively shopping! Okay I am not one to post reviews on anything I usually let things just roll off my shoulders but my experience in King Soopers on 19th and uintah with the customer service lady I don't know her name but she's a big heavy set African-American was just horrific. I was standing in the customer service line just trying to get a pack of cigarettes she was rude from the beginning she didn't acknowledge anybody in line and when she asked for my ID she just barked at me id no may I see your ID can I please have your ID nothing like that so I asked her I said why are you being so rude then it was on from there. Granted I should not have lost my temper but I did but she continued to be a flaming bitch and denied the sale of my cigarettes which is fine I just went across the street 7-Eleven and I'm in that King Sooper all the time I will never go back to that store. I work in the customer service industry is it so hard to say to somebody hey may I please see your ID or acknowledge the person standing in line but no she had to be rude from the minute I got in line it is not my fault she's a miserable person but if she doesn't like her job she really needs to find a new one and I will be going to corporate with this because it's just ridiculous there's no customer service in the world anymore it's ridiculous it is not that hard to be nice to somebody and I am not a picky person I'm the one who never complains about if my order is wrong at a restaurant you know I just don't bother with stuff like that I choose my battles but this lady she needs to go work for department of social services or the IRS or something where she is paid to be rude. Little Clinic: Abuse of power & HIPPAA violation, nurse practitioner Sarita G Nestelroad. I went in for common testing. The nurse walked me into the bathroom, explained the process, then left. As I was leaving my sample, the nurse "accidentally" came in to the bathroom with no lock. This was clearly not an accident, as she left for a substantial amount of time in order to return on my vulnerability. She then attempted to discuss my private matters with door wide open, I closed it. My test results cannot come from an in person lab and must be sent out, though I was sent a message the next day saying they were negative. I also received a schedule message at 10pm (after close) that one of my samples could not be tested. (I went to a hospital that night to get the same testing, and they confirmed that it takes 3-5 days to receive results.) I then unsubscribed to messages because my phone was getting several texts and even calls after unsubscribing from texts. The nurses at this practice seek the feeling of superiority over the authenticity of their job. I will be reporting their violation to the Board of Nursing in Colorado. I will donate my time to help others, not to feel superior over another. read more

2-20-2025 I went to King Soopers Uintah to pick up prescription. (I got the text that it was ready) No line, stepped right up to counter, very nice lady to help me. Script was ready, we had a brief discussion about flu and shingles vaccines. I will be getting those on my next visit. Then went shopping, found everything on my list. Had to get some help locating one item, asked an employee putting up stock and he stepped down from lift snd was very happy to help, I thanked him and moved on. The produce and fruit was very fresh, very nice. Found everything I needed went to check out. The cashier was Belle, who has helped me on numerous visits. She is always very friendly and helpful. I had one item I couldn't get scanned for sales price, she took care of this. I read a lot of the other reviews and am surprised at how many are unhappy about odd things. If the stores really busy - guess what? Yes you might have a longer wait. Duh! If the stores really has a few people out, you might want to help sack your groceries! Wow you're kidding! I might have to help do that! Are you kidding me me! This isn't Disney land! You entitled masses, open your eyes and look around and step up to the plate!! We get it Karen's (and please let me apologize to the real Karen's who are aware of what's going on!) Not the ones who want to be smuggly waited on like they are entitled to special everything!! We purchased $700 worth of Home Depot cards. When Home Depot went to redeem them one was not activated and the other he couldn't read the PIN number. The manager would do nothing to refund my money. We had to take pictures of cards and receipt and mail them in and it's been nearly a month. So we lost $300 dollars and King Soopers is useless in the face of their ineptitude-failure to activate one card, and inferior product- pin you can't read. In addition to that the receipt which we've kept in a drawer has faded so bad you can't even read it. Why would they not print these with better quality ink? read more

One was rude to my wife at self checkout because she had to come over twice to correct their flawed system . She was already red in the face mad before getting to us due to everyone else calling her over to fix the flawed system they were on. The cashier acted as though it was our fault and yelled at us , I can't be everywhere at once she said. Not only do we have to either purchase their bags or bring our own, but we also have to bag those groceries because there is one actual cashier working. If I could give a no star review or negative star review that's what I would do for the King Soopers Pharmacy on Stetson Hills. I have been going there for two years now and have been grossly mistreated by the pharmacy staff. Specifically Michelle so if you get her ask for a supervisor. Over and over again I have gotten misinformation from either Michelle or other pharmacy staff there over my insurance, they've given different information to me than what they've given to my doctors office when they call in the same day over the same problem. It has delayed me from getting necessary medication in order to treat what I'm dealing with. They are not only rude. They are careless and they are negligent. Avoid all costs. Granted I have had an issues with my medical office as well being negligent and rude af but when it's coming from you at all sides when you have a serious condition, it makes you wanna pull your hair out and cry. Since then I have changed pharmacies and I have changed physicians, and I couldn't be more happy. Ive NOW received the treatment, the respect, and the understanding that I deserve as a paying customer/patient. I've never been so disgusted with pharmacy staff before. You're in the wrong field if you treat people the way Michelle has treated you. Find another job. Because of the misinformation that kept going back-and-forth between my doctors office and this pharmacy specifically from the staff member Michelle, I was delaying getting my sleep medication for days on end. I spent five nights without sleep. How can you have a normal life when you're fighting your Pharmacy when you're fighting your doctors office and then can't sleep for literally five day??? The misinformation that I've received from this pharmacy has hindered me from getting the necessary medication that I need in order for me to function as a normal human. I cannot warn people away enough from this pharmacy and from the pharmacist at the Stetson hills location named MICHELLE. Be warned if you have medication's here you may want to switch them. Walgreens seems to have a much better staff and turnaround time in general. There is usually one on almost every corner of Colorado Springs. read more

This store used to be so great but you can't really use it without waiting about 20-30 minutes to checkout now. Especially in the morning. If you're a local worker, trying to grab donuts before work or a quick lunch is no longer an option there. They don't open more than 3 self checks for the total checkout in the morning. I would have to wait behind 22 people with carts full of groceries to purchase 4 small donuts. So many people began leaving their carts and walking out, expressing growing frustration with this store. The manager of this store should resign. They claim it's a labor issue but they aren't even interviewing some of their great applicants. This store has absorbed the apathy and laziness that is continually taking over this once happy part of town. I can't imagine managing or owning a store and caring as little as they do about it. read more

They are closed now. I called to ask why, after it rang for 40 minutes, someone answered and said they temporarily closed. I asked why, and she said she was not at liberty to disclose that information. I said, "I guess I have to drive over and see why." She just hung up. If there is a dangerous situation, she should have been at liberty to at least say that instead of hanging up on me. I am heading there now. To be continued. The reason I was calling was to pick up a life saving medicine at that pharmacy. Yep, the police shut them down. She couldn't say, don't come it's not safe? Well, they were open when I got there. As a frequent shopper, I visit this store daily whether I'm shopping for myself or as an insta cart shopper. Unfortunately, the employees of this store are consistently impolite and fail to provide the high level of customer service I would expect from Safeway or Natural Grocers. Employees here point fingers rather than help you find the product. I was in disbelief when the floral manager was dismissive and unhelpful when i asked for assistance on Valentine's Day. She gathered I was just an insta cart shopper because she said "oh you're an insta cart shopper" and rather than take the time to assist me she told me everything was signed and me and left me lost and confused in there floral department as I'm trying to find the arrangement that I needed. In the produce section, Nick routinely points his finger to empty shelves when I ask to find something, even though I know they have more stock in the back. The security guard refuses to unlock the restroom for me and suggested I use the one in the back, claiming they are trying to prevent drug use in their facilities. Despite explaining that I don't use drugs and urgently need to use the restroom, he remained unyielding, yet they allow anybody else use their facilities. I was extremely offended. The staff, including both the cashiers and security guard, seem more focused on monitoring me at the check-out rather than preventing theft that I see occur with my very own eyes. It is clear that this store is in dire need of training in customer service, loss prevention, and if they choose to have security, it should be provided by trained professionals. It's shocking, everybody here is simply burnt out, jaded, and extremely rude. read more

I'm all for businesses having inclusive associates with mental disabilities but Derek at this location should be fired and never allowed to interact with the general public. I had a case of beer in my cart that required an ID check. He couldn't figure out where my birthday was because it was an out of state ID. He then placed a hand on my shoulder and his other less than an half an inch away from my breast to SHOVE me out of the way to scan my ID onto the self checkout area. When I told him not to touch me and to ask me to move instead he muttered something incomprehensible and continued his routine. I then had to void an item that was at his fault for scanning twice to "help me" and it took him calling 3 different associates to help him void an item. As someone who has worked retail for 4 years if you need that many associates to help you- you don't need to be in that position. Go stock the back or something. You obviously can't handle the simplicity of self checkout. I will now make the 15 minute extra drive to Safeway to avoid this bodily harassment from a man not capable of even knowing where he is. I bought a salmon avocado roll. whilst biking back home from King Soopers, the sushi was atumbling. she was Simone biles up in this bitch and she stuck the landing. the tape holding the sushi lid on is stronger than my will to live. I like king Soopers way better than Safeway but the change of making most of the lanes self checkout AND THEN not opening half of them even when it's busy is infuriating. The half converted lanes are even worse. You can't set down your reusable bags because it doesn't like that and all your groceries are conveyed down to the other end of the check out station. read more

They have a friendly staff that are ready to help me get the product I want; when they can't they special order it for me and/or offer me a substitute (often at a discounted price. I especially like the service at the Starbucks in the store; they to anticipate what I might need in so far as getting my drinks or food into my shopping cart; the same applies to the deli section. Okay, I had a struggle and needed a cake pronto. The bakery staff was so KIND to me. They didn't have to be, I was asking them to help me get a half sheet cake in 2 hours. We just received our delivery order and so many things went wrong, as usual, I can't deal with it anymore. some of the produce was just plain nasty and I received FOUR of the wrong items. With all the craziness going on, my neighborhood King Soopers is handling it excellently. You walk in the door and they have one person dedicated to sanitizing every shopping cart. As you proceed to move down the isles you just don't feel like there is chaos amount us, until you see the empty isle of toilet paper ;) The workers still greet you with a smile and lend a helping hand to you or each other. I was a little nervous to go to the grocery store this week but felt completely at ease the whole time I was there. They always go beyond to get me the items I need but can't find. And my kids love it- usually one of the employee will either get them a balloon or help them with the horse rides. They are well stocked with the delicacies we like, have excellent customer service, are taking good precautions, and as we've been here for over 20 years (husband ages all our kids grew up here) we almost always see people we know when we go and that makes it feel like home. I placed an order for delivery for the first time today, as I am quarantined. When I received my order I was missing my ground turkey and chicken that I was charged for. There was no direct number to call in regards to this. When I finally got through to someone they were very reluctant to help me; and if I wanted further assistance I'd have to come into the store. I payed $10 for the service on top of my groceries and I am really disappointed as I am out my money and food and can't leave my house- I won't use this service again.
