I had the best experience today at the Starbucks department. The young lady Rowen went above and…read morebeyond to get me what I wanted. With a customer service like that I will always get my coffee at this location on S Academy. I tried to tip her but she informed me No Tips because they are part of King Soopers!

First off, I've been going to this King Soopers for decades. They are my "neighborhood store". In…read morethe past 1.5 years their produce has gone to shit! I don't know if the Produce Manager needs re-training on what to look for when it comes to produce or he just needs to be replaced. Lately the shredded lettuce and pre made salad is brown and slimy. If it was decent to take home it only lasts about 1 day. Then it turns brown and slimy. I enjoy a cantaloupe and a mango from time to time and lately they have been Waaaaaay under ripe or Waaaaaay over ripe. Takes 2 weeks to eat them or in one day they are go rotten. What gives? With the price of groceries today...someone needs to get on top of these issues and fix them. Everyone has a boss and clearly this department head has ZERO supervision. If I go half way across town to another King Soopers they have fantastic produce. So again, clearly this produce manager doesn't know what he/she is doing. Secondly, this store seems to have backed up sewer. On many occasions it smells like death! Thirdly, ALL the shopping carts have square wheels and sound like a 4 year old beating on pots and pans when you push them down the isle. Fourth, any given day, between 3:00pm and 7:00pm the store is overcrowded with customers and the store has 3 live checkers and the new bank of self-checkout stands is never in operation. What should take 10 minutes to go in an out takes 30-45 minutes. Frustrating to say the least. Fifth, the deli is habitually out of pre-cooked foods. When you want to grab dinner quickly there is no chicken, no potato's, no mac & cheese etc. Sixth, every dad gum day you go here you have to beat the pan handlers and petitioners off of you. This gets really old really fast. Management needs to tell them they need to be a minimum of 50 feet from the front door and call the Sheriff on the riff raff. There is a serious lack of leadership and management at this location! Again - This is my neighborhood store and I won't be shopping here any longer. BUMMER!

My grandma would cook and i regret the times i opted for takeout. My father saw this place on maps before i did, i was surprised one was right next to the gate. I myself never really dove into Filipino/filipina culture but one thing was true, i love to eat food. I went there with my family the 3rd week of my time at Ft. Carson. The owner treated us like family and made sure we had enough rice with our entrees. The market may be small but it reminds me of home. The food takes me back to my grandma's cooking, and the times i would spend with family eating at other filipino restaurants. The flavors are very unique and you can tell how much effort and care the owner puts into her food! She's often with family and friends, as I would if my family and friends were with me. I miss home, I miss friends and family, sometimes i even regret signing the contract, but dining here with my people really lifts the weight off my shoulders. I wish plenty of fortune and opportunities for the owner and her family.
