As an owner of rental properties for more than 20 years, I have hired many property managers both in Sonoma County and other areas of California. Laura, the property manager, has been the most knowledgeable, responsive and friendliest of all the managers I have worked with. She is simply outstanding! I'm currently dealing with a difficult situation while trying to sell my property with a tenant in place. Laura has been patient and kind as well as responsive to all of my requests. I highly recommend this team to manage your rentals. Their fees are good too, lower than most!

I spoke with him, too, and he came across to me as smart, competent, and very able to rent our house. This was mid-July of 2020. By December 31, his assistant, Laura, wrote us to say there wasn't interest in our house. We immediately called another property manager who genuinely couldn't understand why the house hadn't been rented. She had a signed rental contract 8 days later. Read that last sentence again. This is why I'm writing this review. During the almost 6 month period we had the house with SCPR, I received a few emails from Laura: The prospective renter wanted $ off the rent, or had some other ask. We always compromised with the request, but nothing ever happened. The house was furnished when we signed the contract with Chris. At the time he said that it added a challenge, but that they would get it done. At some point Laura indicated that, because the house was furnished, they were having a hard time finding renters. When the house was still unrented in November, my wife and I went up, packed up the furnishings and asked them to take new photos. Then came a couple more of the same asks: Would we take $ off the rent, etc., etc.? Nothing happened with the home. Then the "nobody's interested in your property" email. I'll leave it at this: Our experience was that our house sat empty for almost 6 months, immediately followed by the next property manager raising the asking rent by $200/month (from the asking price that SCPR set) and it was rented in 8 days! During my initial weekend visit, she quickly understood my preferences and helped me narrow down my search. When a promising property came on the market after I returned to Boston, she provided such a thorough video tour that I felt like I was walking through it myself. Her responsiveness, knowledge, and genuine care made what could have been a stressful process remarkably smooth. Kimberly truly went above and beyond at every turn. She coordinated inspections, arranged for deep cleaning before my move-in, signed for my new bed delivery and setup, and even agreed to receive my car delivery over the Christmas holidays. As a newcomer to California, I was overwhelmed with logistics, but she guided me through everything from acquiring insurance in a fire-risk area to understanding the nuances of Oakmont Village's different sub-HOA requirements. She connected me with reliable inspectors, contractors/handymen, and service providers, drawing on her extensive network and experience flipping homes with her husband. Whether answering questions herself or quickly connecting me with the right expert, her follow-through was impeccable. If you're buying a home--especially from out of state--Kimberly is the best!

I was looking to refinance our property due to the rumored crazy low interest rates. I was referred to another company (Stearns) by a close friend and they offered me 1.01% lower than my current rate. This was a nice savings for me but I was skeptical and wanted to play the game searching for something better. This is when I started reaching out to others I knew. Next was 1.25% lower than my current rate. This was good too but I wasn't done. Sheila came in as the winner by being able to offer me the rate of the day lowering my rate 1.375% lower than my current. I immediately jumped on board. Right away I could tell the level of service and detail that Sheila provides in her profession. I was asked questions I've never been asked before raising my antenna as to why nobody at these other companies asked me these questions. She even took the time to explain a lot of things, and I mean a lot, she basically had to hold my hand at points because I'm not very familiar with these processes and this industry and I ask a lot, and I mean a lot of questions. She was patient, kind and professional all throughout the processes. I greatly appreciate having someone who is knowledgeable, experienced as well as kind to make this process as smooth and seem less as possible. She's now my real estate person, and could be yours too. Don't make the same mistake I did, call her 1st. Next time I know I will. Thanks Sheila. Love my new payment!
