I have used Safelite before but hadn't gone to their Northern Blvd location until today. Christine the branch manager was welcoming. Another employee took my information and asked if I wanted to get new wipers. I declined. Several other staff were in and out of the lounge area-all very pleasant and truly seemed happy to be working there. The work was done before the expected 3 hour time. Windshield looks good. bio A good experience. read more

They replaced my windshield. They were professional and did the job in just a few minutes.

Unfortunately, I chipped my windshield traveling on the Thruway and needed a repair. I was able to schedule an appointment yesterday for today. Andrew arrived as scheduled, was professional and kind. I was interested in how repairs work, and he explained the process throughout. The repair was better than I anticipated -- without it being pointed out, I can't tell there was ever a chip. read more

What a convenience! The Rep from Safelite called me when he was almost at my office. He arrived, replaced my windshield, and called me when he was done. It was done perfectly! He even did a fantastic job removing my inspection & registration stickers from my broken windshield and re-sticking them onto my new one. This is our second interaction with Safelite, and I would recommend them to anyone! read more

My insurance company set me up with Safelite for a cracked front windshield. When I brought my vehicle into the Camillus, N.Y. location they fixed the windshield. However, they returned the vehicle to me without the front collision camera working. They stated they understood it was working before replacing the windshield but they could not fix it. The manager told me to just bring it to my dealership. I advised him they would expect money for doing work on my vehicle. He then told me to make another insurance claim. My insurance company is now handling this but not because I made another claim but rather because they are refusing to pay for damage they caused. Horrible costumer service and business. read more

If I could give them a negative score I would. Contacted them 3 weeks ago, was given a quote and thought wow this is great! Super fast and easy. Come today (3 weeks later) and my car is still sitting in my garage and the technician finally came. BUT he didn't feel "comfortable" putting in the glass. As I am scratching my head wonder why I waited 3 weeks for this so called "senior technician" to put in a glass, he could have figured this out weeks ago. They called enough to tell me that the part has been delayed but not to tell me that he didn't want to put it in. I called corporate and they put me in touch with the manager CHRIS at safelite, she stated the part was a dealer only part to go to the dealer. I called the dealer they stated safelite calls them all the time to get parts. So I contacted safelite Syracuse again, she said that because the part was expensive we would have to pay up front. So I said ok I'll pay for it now, after a pause she still refused to do the work. Even going as far as saying that none of the Syracuse shops will touch my car. Because they own both of them. So then I talked to a lady named BONNIE from corporate who was extremely nice and helped me out by finding me another shop. Safelite customer care was great, Syracuse offices horrible and Chris shouldn't hold a position that deals in customer relationships. To bad, that they couldn't keep business in house. read more

My windshield cracked and then spread with the heat. They promptly fit me in and replaced it within 24 hours. It is perfect. Thank you

Great job. Very fast and efficient. No leaks in the window to date. They came right to the house to replace the rear windshield which was shattered. They vacuumed up the glass and even polished the window when done! Customer excellence is what they had in mind and it shows! Thank you! read more

Top notch Customer service and windshield installation. We took our vehicle into the shop but they offered to come to my home. Professional, fast, quality, convient, friendly, professional. Even though they are corporate they are local if you know what I mean. Spot on. read more

After a stone hit and cracked our windshield our insurance company put us in contact with Safelite. The appointment was scheduled and it turned out to be a miserable weather day. AJ their technician contacted us and said he could still come and replace the windshield if I could move the vehicle into a pole barn we have. This young man was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was totally impressed with him and the whole experience. Great to see a young man take so much pride in the work he is doing! read more

An electric window in our car would not roll up. It was jambed inside the door and would not close. We tried to fix it ourselves by pulling off the door panel but could not locate the problem. We were concerned about possible rain and a lack of security for our possessions inside the vehicle, so we needed to get it fixed. We happened to drive by Safelite AutoGlass and decided to give them a try. The service guys found the problem and fixed it in less than 15 minutes. They gave back the car keys and said there would be no charge. Amazing. Of course, we forced them to take a nice tip. Blown away by their service. read more

It took no time at all to arrange to have my cracked windshield repaired. I made an appointment online and received a quick email and phone confirmation. The company worked with the insurance company, so all I had to do was show up at Safelite with my car. The replacement took one hour, and they vacuumed my carpets! The store reps were friendly and knowledgeable. I learned this could have been done at my home, but the crack was low and did not obstruct my view. Target, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Marshall's and many other great stores are right across the street, so I took advantage while I waited. I was impressed with the experience and suggest others use Safelite should you ever need a windshield repair or replacement! read more

Safelite auto glass are great they took care of me and had me out in no time Patrick was a great technician I would highly recommend them

We have uses Safelite a great deal over many years....called in because they replaced 16 months ago on one of our vehicles and I explained that the windshield seems to have diamonds going through it and was asking what causes it. She stated that it was pitted and it was defective glass and to set up warranty appointment. I asked if I should stop and make sure and have them take a look, she replied no that it needs a warranty replacement. After changing my schedule around to get it changed asap, the manager told me that it was pitted from driving too many miles. It was not covered and he has final say. He also informed me that they tell everyone it is warranty and then he advises. I asked if that was just so customer comes back in? Because of discrepancy, I called back in and was connected with different rep and he stated that she (the first rep) was new, he will advise her and retrain. After all the times using Satellite, they had deliberately mislead. read more
