Do not give this office your business, extremely rude. No longer my go to shop. I was told I'd have a mobile visit but text showed in office the day of the visit. When I called the person was extremely rude and pretty much saying I was lying about having a mobile apt. In the past I had multiple windshield replacements and repairs all mobile. Clearly there has been a turn over in employees and it's not for the good. Find another shop to give your business to, there are plenty of good places that want your business and are not unprofessional and rude. read more

I brought my car to safelite to have a chip repaired, three days later the small chip turned into a giant crack. I went back and I had my appointment booked for them to fix it, once I got there they made me wait 45 mins just to tell me they can't fix it due to weather. So, I gave them a third chance to get it fixed and once again, "we don't have to right size windshield." What a waste of time and service. read more

I picked up my car and it looked like the person who worked in the window had walked through mud before working On my window replacement. The inside of my car was filthy with mud stains on the seats and all over the floor and even a muddy handprint on the roof by the sunroof. I hope the new windshield is better than the mess left in my car from the mud from the technician. read more

This place is really bad . If you have to go there it's a miserable experience they really don't know what they're doing and just do insurance work, but they don't have to be responsible for their service there has to Be a better place in Kalispell to get your auto class completed. I set up an appointment to have the Windshield replaced on my 2014 Electrical Work Van. I was quoted $350.00, as this was not to be an insurance claim. When I returned seven days later for the scheduled appointment , I was informed that they ordered the wrong window, and another appointment would have to be made. I informed them that I took the day off for this replacement, but I had no choice but to reschedule. The manager who originally made the appointment, stated that I told him it was a Truck, not a Van. His false accusation was not true, as I know the difference between a Truck and a Van. He would not get up from his desk to take a look at what I was driving when I originally went in to make the appointment, even though I was parked right out front. Too much effort, I guess. When I came back for the new appointed date, (three days later), and set work aside for the second time that morning, I was told the price went from $350.00 to $779.00. I walked out. I went to a competitor who actually came out from his desk and physically took the number off of the existing windshield, and ordered the correct one. Fairly simple process. At Safelite, I never received a friendly reminder by text on either one of the two appointments, which i thought was odd. I remembered that hey used to do that. This manager for this store is is just too lazy. I would NOT recommend this store. They lack "Professionalism" in a big way. I missed two half days of electrical work because of their incompetency. read more

I needed windshield replaced on my 2014 Outback in 2019. I just traded it for a new Subaru Legacy and they asked who replaced my windshield. I told them Safelite in Kalispell, MT, and how did they know it was replaced? He said because they were no heating elements at the bottom for defrosting and that my Outback originally had it. I had noticed that it was defrosting slowly, but just thought it was too cold outside. In other words Safelite installed an inferior windshield without my knowledge. They went above and beyond to clean up rust and the weather stripping that had not been installed by the previous windshield installer. I was charged $137 for a rock chip repair, but overheard the lady in front of me was only charged $60 for the same service. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was told it was because I booked the service online. I subsequently called other shops in the area and found out the typical charge is $50-$60. My bad for not doing research first, but Safelite will not get my business in the future! read more

With the windshield protection we purchased with the truck we have, we easily got an appointment, we showed up early and they got us in and out in no time. All I wanted was a quote for a new windshield. I called and they keep referring you to their website. Couldn't find option to get a quote on the website Just schedule-an appointment. I only want to schedule an appointment if they have a good price which I can't find. So I call again and wait 20 minutes on hold. They finally pick up and now they want all my personal information before they will give me a quote. Name, phone, address email etc. i said I just want a quote and. Couldn't get one without giving them all that info which I am sure they use and sell to send me all kinds of unwanted sales pitches and endless robocalls. No thanks. Went local. read more

The rock hit my windshield and immediately began spreading. I knew if I didn't get it fixed right away it would quickly spread across the whole windshield. I stopped in at Safelite hoping they could squeeze me in, and they did--within 5 minutes they were looking at my car and 20 minutes later it was finished. They warned me I'd still be able to see the chip and crack, but I really had to look to find it. Tony did an incredible job with the repair and exceeded my expectations in every way. The clean windows and vacuumed interior were an added bonus! I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a new windshield or repair. The staff was friendly and helpful and they did a great job replacing the windshield. However, because of the built-in sensor camera I had to take my car back in multiple times for them to calibrate it correctly. Hopefully they learned from the experience. read more

windshield replacement process went good. He came to my work and kicked it out. when I left work I noticed my radio wouldn't turn on (I know it turned on before he worked on it because when I moved my truck it connected to my phone). later when I went to turn my headlights on my dash lights didn't come on and I noticed the interior lights didn't come on then when I got home I got out of my truck and saw I only had headlights no tail lights! I know everything worked before I handed him the keys. I called satellite (they where closed) and left a message with my info and haven't heard back. would rather deal with the cracked windshield then have to go through this... read more

I called several places to get quotes on a window replacement and called Safelite's (800) number. I was given a quote and said the price included the window, installation, disposal of the window, and Tax. I explained we don't have Tax in in the state I live in. He said "oh hang on let me look that up" ... then he gives me another quote $10.00 higher and said that includes the disposal fee. What the heck we don't have Tax so now they are going to charge me a disposal fee ... We don't do business that way therefore they lost our business. Plus the other quotes we received DID NOT charge a disposal fee. read more
