ZERO STARS - Appt was at 11:30....they did not even get to our vehicle until 2:00. While replacing the windshield they broke the wiper motor. We were told the manager was out of the office until the following week, at which time he would call us. We waited patiently but no one called. We called them several times only to be told the manager was not available. We finally went to Safelite in person, 40 mi away. We did finally talk to the manager who said he would order the part and call us in a couple of days. No one called! We called Safelite again but no one knew anything about ordering the part....including the manager! This went on for three weeks!! Meanwhile, we could not use our vehicle in rain or snow because we had no wipers! And this is January in Montana! Finally I called the corporate office and filed a complaint. The same day Safelite called and said the part would be there the following day and to bring our vehicle in. We took the vehicle in only to discover they had ordered the wrong part! So once again we were told the part would be there in a couple days and they would call us. Guess what? No one called! We called them again, quite upset by this time, and told them we were calling the corporate office again. They called the following day and said the part was there and to bring our vehicle in. This entire process took almost a month to resolve!! We will NEVER do business with Safelite in Helena again!! AND WE DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!! read more

I have had several positive experience with other locations, but this shop in Helena needs to have a complete over-hall. Fire them all and start over. AVOID AT ALL COST. read more

Absolutely avoid these clowns. We took our vehicle to get a chip repaired. They said there was no need to repair the chip. They went so far as to assure us that it would not crack the windshield. Specifically stating that the chip was merely superficial. The very next day that "superficial chip" resulted in a crack across the windshield. When confronted they acknowledged the conversation and appointment, but held fast that they were not liable for anything. Zero attempt to take responsibility and correct their mistake/misjudgment. Additionally, our insurance company contacted them on our behalf. Mistakes happen. The mistake is not the issue. The issue is the flagrant backpedaling and failure to stand behind their judgment. Had they repaired the chip, this would be an entirely different review. Take your business elsewhere. Save your money and more importantly, save your sanity. read more

first time using this location (Helena Montana) can't even rate this POS location. Would give negative rating if possible. paid in full (cash) for replacement windshield, new blades, total package. vehicle didn't even leave driveway, noticed Crack in glass less than 48 hrs after replacement. They chipped the glass during installation (they dropped the wiper arm without rubber blade in exact location of the impact crack, covered it up by placing rubber blade exactly ontop crack) THEY said it wasn't their fault. called installer and told they would speak with manager have call us. Waited. Then called national customer service. never had this problem with other locations in Washington, Idaho or Utah they always stand behind their work. Then they indicated have windshield in stock will replace but gonna cost you. I will be telling all family and friends to stay away from this location And possibly any other safelite locations as well. My fleet of 12 vehicles will now be going to other glass shop for all our glass needs. Go to local glass company not called safelite. Very very very poor materials, workmanship and customer service. read more

I waited 3 weeks for an appointment time. drove 65 miles. arrived 20 minutes late due to highway road construction. I was told they would need to reschedule me because I was more than 15 minutes late. Their excuse was they were already two cars behind. That made absolutely no sense either. I will never use SafeLite services again. read more

I had an amazing customer service experience and am so appreciative of the staff and them going above and beyond what was expected to help me out. Originally booked my appointment online and had email confirmation. When I showed up they said they had no record of the appointment. After showing them the confirmation was told that someone must have deleted the appointment. No offer of accommodation of any form. The soonest I was told they could get me in would be 10 days out. read more

I've always thought that this company was exceptional but maybe each franchise is different. We had a mobile appointment (between 12-5) to repair a small chip in the lower driver side corner of our motor home windshield. Around 3pm the tech calls and says her manager won't allow her to come because she doesn't have a ladder. We tell her that it's very low and all she would need is a small step stool. Then the manager gets on the line and says they don't do motor homes anymore. We'll ain't that crappy! Not only did they make us wait 3 hours into our service window before they told us (wasting our day) but they refused to come. All in all it was a very strange experience. We ended up going to a speedy glass in Great Falls. They took us in right away and we were done in 15 minutes. read more

This place has the worst customer service. Scheduled service through my insurance and had multiple issues with them completing the job. One, they came to house to replace windshield, had our garage emptied and they still said they couldn't do it. Stating they had to pick up their kids. If your on the clock you shouldn't be doing that. Plus techs behavior was very rude. Second time, same issue, went to the actual company to get windshield replaced, we called beforehand to make sure they had correct windshield cause that was one of their issues they had with us. They stated they did. Drove all the way there and they say "oh windshield is broken that we have for you". Okay, so we rescheduled to get it done a couple weeks later when they get a new one in. Get a call a day before our appointment saying they didn't get our windshield in so we need to look somewhere else. So I do and find a company who can install this and when I go to talk to my insurance to switch my claim over, the insurance company has to call them to switch it over. Safelite then tells my insurance company "oh no, we have the windshield, they have an appointment today". But I just got off the phone with them not five minutes before telling them I was going with a different company and they didn't say a damn thing about having the windshield after they told me they didn't have it. I'm so frustrated, don't go here unless you want to waste your time and energy and money. read more

Have used Safelite in Wisconsin and Oregon in the past with excellent results. Scheduled a windshield replacement through my insurer's affiliate service with Safelite. Had to have my car at the Helena Safelite shop between 7:30-9:30 to get same-day service. I asked and was told their shop closes at 5:00 pm. Delivered my car 14 miles away before 8:00 am. The store manager Tyler said he'd call when it was ready. There were three workers in the service area, plus Tyler, working on two cars. No call by 4:35 pm so I drove 14 miles in busy traffic and construction to get there by 5:00. My car was sitting where I parked it nine hours earlier, still having the broken windshield. When I asked why I wasn't called or why my car wasn't repaired, Tyler English raises his voice and tells me he's short of staff, never promised my car by 5:00, and they'd still get around to it that night. Unfortunately, you cannot believe anything Tyler says and his management skills are deficient. Three hours wasted and now to find a reliable service shop in Helena. I'm optimistic I can find a competitor in town with better service. read more

I had a great experience at this store. The prices were reasonable, the workers are great here, and my front and back windshield were fixed in a less than 2 hours(they mentioned in would take 3 hours. All workers were always on their feet and working hard. Nathan was the person that helped me and did a wonderful job informing me about how much time it would take, and closely looking at my vehicle. read more
