He charged $1675 which included a mechanical inspection of the engines. A leak down test, a compression test and oil samples were to be analyzed. I asked for the name of the equipment that was used for the oil scan, i asked for the actual report that the analyzing equipment would generate. I was never given either. I needed a completed survey with photos so my insurance company could gauge the condition and bind coverage so i could transport the boat 1000 miles. The survey report was generated without photos my insurance company would not insure the boat without verification of the condition of the boat via photos. This guy is nothing more than a snake oil salesman he talks a good game then delivers nothing of value. I now have to hire a legitimate accredited Marine Surveyor in order to bind insurance on my boat, paying for a second time for a survey. Avoid this American marine surveyors.
