I don't typically write reviews and I rarely have the opportunity to provide glowing praise for…read moresalesmen, and a dealership. In the case of Singleton Marine, and in particular Dave Palmero I can't say enough good things. My wife and I wanted to purchase an Express Cruiser and came to Dave for help. He listened attentively to our desires, our budget, and our future plans and showed us several boats. He would always state the things he thought would work, in our case, and things that might prove detrimental. He was patient and never pressured us one way or the other. When Dave found a boat he though fit our needs he called us immediately. The boat he chose was perfect! The boat was actually much cheaper than one we thought we should buy. What was even more impressive than his boat selection, was the service he provided after the sale. We ordered a survey and Dave asked the surveyor for the list of "fix" items before he had even produced the report. Dave had those items addressed and in the works for fixing before we called. Bear in mind the list was small and mostly inconsequential, but he addressed them nonetheless. Our surveyor was incredibly impressed with the condition of the boat, it was 9 years old, had few hours on it, kept in fresh water under cover and meticulously maintained. When we closed Dave made arrangements for a slip so we could move right in, the slip was perfect. Since the sale we have texted, called, or emailed Dave with questions, oftentimes way to many, he is quick to reply and never too busy, his replies always cheerful. When he walks through the dock his former customers wave and strike up a conversation, he is never too busy to stop and talk with them. I would be remiss in my review if I didn't mention the on-staff boat captain Singleton uses when delivering the boat, Captain Jeff. Captain Jeff is patient, knowledgeable, and extremely good at what he does. This my first purchase of a multi-engine boat that wasn't a bass boat, and to say there are differences would be an understatement. Captain Jeff showed us all the systems, explained how they worked, and showed us how to operate the boat. His service was invaluable. In a few years we plan on upgrading to a bigger boat and I guarantee you it will be Dave and Singleton Marine we go to for that purchase.

DO NOT EVEN THINK OF BRINGING YOUR BOAT FOR SERVICE!!! We…read morebought our boat from them and I trusted the sales person as she assured me she goes through the boat top to bottom and repairs or replaces anything before selling it . We did not even own the boat for a year. We brought it in to have a thorough go over for anything that needed attention and have it detailed . They called us more than 3 month later to come and pick the boat up, that it was ready. The boat was not worked on and they sat it outside with no cover all that time in all the weather elements even though we TOLD them there were 2 covers ON the boat. It was disgusting. We bring back and reiterated to have the items we knew we wanted worked on and ANYTHING ELSE that needs attention. Meanwhile Harry, Moe, and Curly (the service tech staff) running the show , hit our boat on the lot with another boat ! It badly damaged the swim platform . They ASSURE ME they will fix it like new... not even close!!! What an inferior repair! We then come back when they said it was ready... things are not fixed AGAIN. So we go back a 3rd time, now with our friend who rebuilds boats and they inspect, take it for a spin, all appears to be well FINALLY. Our friend runs through the list, " Did you check the Bellows?" One of the 3 stooges responds "Oh yeah , you are good!" Well, they had not checked the Bellows and our boat sunk at our dock ! There was a gaping hole ! Probably happened when it was sitting outside all those months! The boat would have gone to the bottom of the lake had it not been for being properly tied at the dock ! $18,000 damage to a $40,000 boat ! I wrote the owner with documentation to highlight the ongoing gross negligence , lying, incompetence , etc of his staff . His response was that he was so sorry this happened, but claimed NO RESPONSIBILITY! We were left to sue as our only recourse ! It took quite some time but Atlanta Marine's insurance finally settled with us! Please avoid being a victim of this place . This was such a violating experience and hope nobody else ever has to go through this!

I would like to add an update to the original post I left…read more At the end I stated at least they got the trolling motor right. Well. 2 years later and the topside of my hull cracked. I have fiberglass repairs. I need to have the motor remounted, I was just told it was totally not reinforced the proper way and this caused all the fiberglass damage. I am Beside myself.. i thought the nightmare from this marina was over. 2,000 in fiberglass work and they need to add a supporting mount under the hull as well as under the trolling motor mount. They said this should have been done by the installing marina. Well. It wasnt. It doesnt end. The total list of issues I had. -All electric connections sealed with electric tape. -Simrad units installed improperly. no radar, sonar, depth, temps (They made good on this ad had someone in FL redo the install but it was like pulling teeth. - They lost my prop wrenches. - They kept a fuse I bought until after 2 months I had to threaten top send my cousin to go there and get it. then they responded its in the mail. -They did 1000 hour service on my engines. Since then I have prop chatter, Squeaking for what sounds like the belts they replaced, and a key way sheered off from the flywheel. -My trolling motor mount over the course of 2 years finally applied enough pressure to crack the bow top side because it wasn't supported properly. - Held my boat up for months and stored on a dirty lot under trees. Forced to do an expensive detailing to get all the tree sap off. Every day I think about all the money I gave them and all the money I am spending for rework. I will try and contact them for the fiberglass work and trolling motor with an estimate and explanation of improper install. AND will see if they make good and pay for a reinstall from a professional fiberglass and install marina. I am sure they will not respond. I will consider removing if they make good on everything, As of now.... I am telling you. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE

Five stars for helping a first-time captain get his sea legs…read more I recently bought my first boat from Snug Harbor Boats & Co., and the whole experience was refreshingly smooth. Captain Marc was fantastic--knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful without ever feeling like a salesman. For someone stepping into the boating world for the first time, that kind of guidance makes a huge difference. The process itself was straightforward and surprisingly quick. No unnecessary runaround, no confusing hoops to jump through--just clear communication and a team that knows what they're doing. Another nice bonus is that they've got more than just boat sales. There's a sail shop and an outboard service center attached to the office, which makes it feel like a proper boating hub rather than just a place to sign paperwork and sail off into the sunset. All in all, a great experience for a first-time boat owner. If you're looking to get out on the water and want a crew that actually knows their stuff, Snug Harbor is a solid place to drop anchor. ‍

She is helpful and tries to accommodate the customer. She held the boat for me so that I could secure funds, and when a slight delay came about with the funding at my bank, she reassured me that that all was well and that she would continue to hold the boat until the matter was resolved. I asked about an outboard for the boat and she had me one in no time flat. Snug Harbor serviced the outboard and had it ready for me when I picked up the boat. I cannot recommend Ann and the folks at Snug Harbor Boats, enough! I am glad that I found the boat I wanted and dealt with Ann.

Update: Exceptional Resolution and Outstanding Service from Singleton Marine…read more I wanted to provide an update to my previous review about the Singleton Marine Lake Allatoona dealership. After facing some initial challenges with my Harris Tritoon / Pontton boat--which arrived with damages and a persistent electrical issues--I am thrilled to say that the problem has been fully resolved. GM Matt Seelbinder and Service Manager Justin went above and beyond to address the situation. They worked closely with the manufacturer to replace our boat with a brand new 2025 Solstice, free of any defects. We took delivery this past Friday and have been enjoying the boat all weekend. The initial issue turned out to be a rare manufacturing defect--a misplaced screw hitting a wire--which can be complex and hard to diagnose/resolve at a dealership. The boat had to go back to the manufacturing facility. Matt, Justin, and the entire team at Singleton Marine at Lake Allatoona demonstrated exceptional dedication and professionalism. Their commitment to making things right has earned my gratitude and business for life. I highly recommend Singleton Marine for their outstanding customer service and ability to turn a challenging/complex situation into a positive experience. Many thanks to Matt, Justin, and the team for their hard work and for restoring our confidence in their dealership. We look forward to many enjoyable times on the water with our new boat!

The boat arrived to me with damage on the outdrive that wasn't there when I inspected the boat and took a test drive. The transport company had photos of the damage before it left the Singleton lot. I had to take it to a local Cobalt dealer and have the outdrive replaced. Working with Casey Smith at Singleton, they did their due-diligence and determined that the damage happened to the boat while in their custody, after I had inspected it. Casey paid for the replacement of the outdrive and all is good! Accidents happen - it's all in how they are resolved. Singleton did an amazing job of taking ownership and paying for the damage. I would buy another boat from there for sure!!
