There are plenty of other agents in town, so do yourself a favor and stay away from Karen Easterling!!! We are switching to a new agent today and have filed a complaint against her office. Here is why: The only time we heard from Karen's office is around our birthdays each year trying to sell us life insurance (which we keep telling them we already have through our employers). Every time I have had to call or visit her office her staff has been rude and unhelpful. But here is the worst part... back in 2008, we moved across town and wanted to change State Farm agents, Karen refused to let us switch. Again in 2013, still dissatisfied with her service we again tried to switch to another agent and insisted on trying to talk me out of it over the phone. When I was not convinced she insisted my wife would also have to call and tell her to her face that she wanted to switch agents. My wife hates dealing with crap like this, so we were again stuck with Karen. The final straw was in April 2015. When faced with a major issue related to our auto policy, we contacted our agent (as instructed by customer service) and she was completely unhelpful and downright nasty to me. Agents are supposed to advocate for their clients, but you will not get that from Karen's office. Both my wife and I grew up with parents with State Farm for 20+ years. We have had State Farm together since we have been out of College. Because of the fantastic job the corporate office did to resolve our recent issue, we will be staying with State Farm, but with another agent. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM KAREN EASTERLING!

I thought my roof had been damaged by the freeze and called her office. Her staff recommended Corbin Stevens at pristine roofing. He came out and said I had Hail damage, I filled a claim and it was approved. Corbin did my roof and I paid him the money I received from Farmers plus my deductible. I took a closer look at the estimate and realized that I had been paid for screens and also to have the drip edge replaced, Corbin did not do either of those but took the money for it. He eventually gave me the money back for the screens, but still continued to say he didn't owe me anything. Here's where things went south with Jenny, I reached out to her office for help and went there to meet with Travon and showed him the estimate and my contract with Pristine roofing. He said he would get with Jenny and let me know. He called the next day and told me that Corbin's mother was a personal friend of Jenny's and that Corbin told her he did not owe me any money and that it was my word against his even though we all agreed he did not do all the work he was paid for. I made several attempts to have Jenny call me and she would not. I had to contact the district manager for help, which he was able get my money back. I asked Travon if they were going to continue to use Pristine roofing and he said yes that his mother was a personnel friend of Jenny's and they only had one complaint. When asked by a corporate State Farm rep today how Easley could gain my trust back. This is what I…read moresaid: Have Easley not be a total fraud and liar. he tripled my renters insurance premium in 3 months and then proceeds in telling me lie after lie after lie. Then I canceled and expected a refund. I contacted him several times and he assured me the policy had canceled and a check was issued on Feb 27, 2020. Lie. I contacted his office and they said it would be 7-10 business days. I thought the check had been cut? I then filed complaint with Texas dept Ins and today a State Farm corporate rep contacted me and told me they had just cut a check and I should be getting it shortly. I asked, I thought the check had been cut and mailed. She looked at the notes and said the original check was mailed to the wrong address. Funny. The only address I gave them was on my policy. I advised her not get caught up in his lies. I told her Andrew would not know the truth if it hit him in the face. I told her I know when people lie to me and now she was getting caught up in trying to cover for him. I told her it didn't look good on her either. All they do is lie. She said she thinks it was an isolated case. I told her as much lying as this guy has been doing it is not an isolated problem. We shall see if I get a check by next week. But, they do lie at tat agency. ALOT! I even called Easley a thief. He has stopped responding on email. Why? Because he has been caught in a fraud.
