We could just wake up, have a great breakfast and get on the bus to the next adventures, not worrying about anything, planning, driving, where to eat, how to get into a park or anything! It was all smooth and taken care of, so easy! Our guide was so knowledgeable about everything Costa Rica, the biology, culture, history, politics, and he wove it all together so seamlessly and in clear and sometimes humorous ways. He could spot a rare bird in the canopy or sense where something would be hiding in the most amazing way. I can't recommend this trip enough!

I have planned international trips and Caribbean trips but thought that maybe it would be nice to have a travel agent assist to take some of the stress away that comes with planning for a group.I used A big chain travel company this year to go to Europe because we were visiting more than one country but my next trip I would just need to go to one destination and full relaxation would be my goal( spa, massage, lush vegetation, etc.) I even asked to inform me if a Special came across her desk to any place with a beach, so that I could consider possibly changing my original plans if it sounded good. You would think I asked her to come get me and take me to the airport the way she spoke. Speaking to her for less than 15 minutes wasn't a pleasant experience. You would think she was reprimanding a child. I understand the frustrations of customer service but we didn't even establish a rapport. I would not recommend using this company. You are better off planning your own vacation and keeping the agent fee for drinks. Being nasty or brash is unbecoming.

Camping reviews are obviously subjective and any experienced camper knows to expect some adversity…read more Negatives: -Besides campsite 2, 22, and 15 expect some overcrowding if not resourceful in tent setup - no water at all (this is due to drought conditions) - No fires (this is due to drought conditions and standard through the ever increasing fire season) - Aggressive yellow jackets (this is due to drought conditions and you either have to deal with them or eat inside the tent/camper) - Aggressive Raccoons (keep food in car to avoid hassle) - No Alcohol (will never understand this rule) - The road bikers on Mt Diablo are annoying to say the least; the spandex should be illegal, they block you on the way up (they should have to pull of the road immediately), they excessively speed on the way down creating dangerous situations -Aggressive Poison oak -no trailers Positives: -The location is magical set below Rock city creating several small jaunts through the boulder studded oak woodlands intertwined with majestic Live Oak and ancient Madrone/manzanita. - Fossils everywhere - 25 minutes from Downtown Danville and about the same to the summit. - Particularly great for kids and families. Weather: -more sheltered than Juniper as wind can be an issue -If timed during a warmer than average day an inversion will likely setup overnight creating ideal conditions overnight; high 60's to mid 70's (epic right before sunset through just after sunrise but too hot beyond that)

This was the first time I rode an electric bike (and not a regular bicyclist) and really enjoyed the beautiful trip from Sausalito to Tiburon and on to Angel Island. I still felt like I got exercise while the boost of the electric part enabled me to ride much further and more easily. This is a great activity for all skill levels. I was very grateful for one of the guides who stayed with me the whole time when I trailed behind the main group and gave me so many helpful tips for riding the bike. Inspired to try this again!

Usually I have been able to figure out how to get around but I have been very disillusioned by Expedia and similar services so I was looking for someone to help. I was lucky to find Philip Marks and Varun Puri in Brisbane. The entire month of January had me in their capable hands and I scooted around Africa-from Cameroon to Uganda. Not one single solitary thing went wrong. The agency is absolutely efficient. They know their way around the world and it could not have easier. I cannot think of one reason to go back to on line travel abuse when there are these two helpful,and understanding, agents right here. (They also make perfectly wonderful chocolate under the name of Philip Marks chocolates.)
