I went here one year for my taxes & it was not bad. They are very knowledgeable and know their stuff, especially the daughter of the couple who own the business. The thing that got me pissed was that my dad scheduled an appointment to do his taxes (very last minute I must say) at 11am day before taxes were due. He shows up on time to first appointment and he was sent back because it was too busy at the time. @ 2nd appointment (scheduled at 2pm) I took him & they sent him back again. That time I got upset bc now they are messing with my time GAS and mileage. My dad is super non confrontational, but not me. I called in and asked why they were playing with my dad's time. They said they were not playing and told him to come back at 5pm and they could see him then. He then went back at 5pm and finally was able to file his taxes!!! WHEW, if I was him, I would never go back to this place to do business with. BEWARE! read more

I just received a letter from IRS. That being said , I wanted to share my recent experience. I am leaving a notification here because I don't live near Long Beach. And, I'm frustrated. I don't want to have to make the drive and Wait in line just to get an excuse. The IRS stated that my taxes were input wrong. I thought it was strange that it was taking longer than expected to receive my return. I don't know why I received my return in a half of the amount I was told I would receive from you at the time. Paying for your services is not cheap. And, I drove to you and waited in line a month before tax deadline feeling assured that I was being proactive in getting my taxes done with a reputable company who I have used once before with no issue. What are you going to do to assist me with this letter from the IRS? A part of me, is just willing to accept The decision made from IRS because it's the government and they would not make an "error," I can only assume. read more

I've been doing my own taxes for these past few years just for the sake of saving time and money, but I'm so glad I switched it up and found Saenz tax. Last year I ended owing back and it just didn't seem right. Iris was very helpful and told me things I didn't know before about taxes. I was so nervous about having to pay back. She was able to get me a little something back and also told me to bring in my taxes from last year so she can fix them. She really took off the stress of getting taxes done. I will definitely be coming back. Also, they don't take cards so make sure you have cash to pay them. read more
