Do not use them! We called to have only a one time service. They are now claiming that we signed up for a subscription that we never signed up for. We called twice to tell them we wanted to cancel. The third call about this we talked to a manager, Juan, argued back and forth about the issue unnecessarily. He sent us an invoice that we had never received in email before, and the signature at the bottom was clearly forged. The technician signed for us on services we did not ask for. They are terrible with communication and do not care about their customers whatsoever. Their prices are also exorbitant if they suck you into a subscription and/or to cancel service. read more

Steer clear of Saela Pest Control. This company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. What should have been a basic garage door seal replacement turned into weeks of incompetence, endless rescheduling, and multiple failed attempts by technicians who clearly had no idea what they were doing. They even left our garage completely unsealed for two weeks -- a huge pest entry point caused by the pest company. Their solution was to hire a garage door company to install the seals. They gave me two options. One, they could hire the company and handle it, or two, I could hire the company and send them the invoice. I chose option one so I wouldn't have to worry about the reimbursement process since they were already challenging to work with, but then they changed their mind and I was told to hire the company myself and send the invoice. A real garage door professional later confirmed what Saela should have known from the start: with the type of doors we have, their "repair" was impossible. They were stuffing rubber into tracks that would repeatedly fall out because these doors require the entire metal piece to be replaced to replace the rubber seals. Instead of taking responsibility, they refused to reimburse the actual repair cost and tried to trap us into staying with them by offering only a credit on our account. Not only that, but they're wanting to credit us only partly because last time the technician was here (which was weeks ago) the seal on the small garage door was "functional". How can something be functional if it's done completely wrong and falling out every time the door is opened? Completely unacceptable and borderline scammy behavior. Saela wasted our time, our money, and our trust. Save yourself the headache and choose literally any other company. This company has me wishing for the option to give 0 stars. read more

Really bad service. Disorganized! I have to call them them to follow through on everything. I was also over promised by there initial sales person. They will say anything to get your money. You have to be very carful with them. Make sure they show you in the contract what they say they will do. I would never recommend this company. My mice problem got worst using them!!! read more

The absolute worst customer service around. They never do what they claim they will do. They never call ahead of time to let you know they are on their way. They do not communicate with each other. Do not use their services. read more

On 5/7/26 the technician came and did the service and I gave them a check for the amount and evidentially the check was lost or not turned in and i am being billed for the amount. Not my fault they lost the check but i feel my checks now out somewhere that anyone can get my information. I am willing to pay the amount and want compensation for the cancelled check. not good called twice with absolutely no results. read more

Had them for a few years. Requested a reservice for wasps and mouse traps. The person that came out was extremely rude. Tried to sell me another expensive service on top of what I was paying. Called it a summer service and spraying our grass. It's 9/29!! Why didn't they recommend before. Essentially did nothing and left. Cancelling was painful - they don't listen. When you mess it up for the final time - don't try and save it. Never been sooooo disappointed. Would not recommend. Tired of the lack of understanding me as a customer. read more

These people were both unethical and unprofessional. I did agree to their contract and had full intentions of carrying through with it. They were supposed to identify where mice were coming in and close the holes that day. They closed one outside hole. I closed the rest. They tried to get me to spend 12,000 dollars to clean the attic space. When I declined they tried to intimidate me by saying mice could chew thru wires and my house burn down and insurance wouldn't pay and reminded me that Gene Hackmans wife died of Hantavirus. I paid $500 for the initial visit where they did pretty much nothing and they won't let me out of the rest of my contract. They are unethical and unprofessional-only out to get your money without providing much of a service. I am sorry I could not give it zero which is what it deserves read more

Wish I could do 0 stars. Absolutely horrible company. Insane that a company Who makes millions of dollars would charge out the ass for you to cancel their horrible services. I tried calling but each person I talked to was an absolute ass. Couldn't answer any Questions and did nothing to help Resolve the problem. I'll make sure anyone who asks will know that saela is a dog shit company who only cares about stealing money from anyone and everyone that they can. Unethical type of business to run id be embarrassed. read more

Absolute crooks! One of the worst experiences ever! DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITH THEM!! They will not let you out of the service regardless of their performance. Unreal. read more

Took advantage of my 86 y.o. father and double booked a service took over a year to cancel this unreliable service.

0-stars NEEDS to be an option: DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! I trusted this company. I gave them excellent reviews. Excellent until they did their best to SCAM for a LOT of MONEY. After using them for well over a year, they deceptively said I had rodents in the attic. They showed me FAKE PHOTOS. I signed a contract for REMEDIATION -- a very expensive contract. Being unemployed, I was devastated by the unexpected expense. Once they told me there were rodents, I was fully-focused on getting any mice and all contamination out of my house -- I am not a person who can have bugs or rodents in the house and be casual about it. They set appointments and changed or cancelled several times. They communicated extensively by text about the situation and assured me they would take care of the rodents. I decided to call another company as they were taking too long. The second company came out and found NO RODENT ACTIVITY and NO RODENT FECES at all. The new company insisted I look for myself (I had not wanted to climb up to the attic due to back issues). SAELA would have SCAMMED me if I had not had the time to have a second and third opinion. And they have been totally DISMISSIVE about the entire SCAM. Of course, it does not end there. I told them to cancel my service, I reported everything to the BBB. But, my service was not cancelled. I was told (after having done it in writing and through text) that I had to do it by phone. It took me seven attempts to cancel and a LOT of time on the phone, I was transferred and put on hold over five times. I had given this company rave reviews. My regret is endless and I really hope they did not scam anyone else. read more

We did our home spray one time last month for $40, today i got an email saying that they're coming to my house to spray again without my knowledge. I was told its a one time spray for killing insects around the house but when i called them had to wait 30mins more to talk to costumer service on waiting and told me i signed their agreement. I couldn't cancel or else they said they were gonna charge $390 for cancellation. Are you guys familier with this Saela Pest Control? Beware just mentioning everyone not to get scammed from these people. read more

Wish I could give negative stars!! This company is awful with customer service and they rarely deliver on what they promise. They obviously over-schedule their field technicians and I've had maybe 3 appointments that were done the day and time they were scheduled to be... IN A YEAR! They try to upsell you on additional services and then if you are stupid enough to accept an additional service (yup, we did their additional rodent protection for $200) they don't mark it down on your file and every technician who comes out still tries to sell you on the same service you already purchased. It's a 2 year contract with a company that clearly violates their end of the deal and is in breach of contract - they schedule appointments and then never show up or constantly reschedule and expect you to take more time off work to accommodate THEM?! Oh, and forget it if you have pets... we told them at least 5 times they had to call first to get access to our backyard because we have pets. They said repeatedly they would "add the instructions to my file" but yet we still had to call nearly half a dozen times to remind them of this! Do yourself a favor and shut to door in their face or hang up your phone if this company tries to offer you their services. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I hate giving 1-star reviews but this company deserves a negative star rating. 1-star is just too high. They do not show up when they say they will. The owner of the company is totally unresponsive. I've given them too many chances to make things right. Maybe the labor shortage is part of the problem but it's not ok for the proprietor to not care about how things are run. The only thing this company does flawlessly is billing. They can be relied on to 100% make sure they get paid. read more

These guys are pests themselves. They constantly solicit and interrupt your home at up to 9-10 at night trying to sell their services. Avoid them purely because of their negative sales tactics. (and also the negative reviews below) read more

I should've read all the reviews. They're right, they sure like to have your CC on file. They didn't complete the full month servicing and didn't even come inside the last visit and still charged me an extra $155. Now I have to fight for a refund and to cancel the service. I'll be filing fraud charges on my CC. read more

Saela Pest Control: Beware We recently moved to Fort Collins and chose Saela for our rental property. The initial sales pitch was smooth sailing: friendly staff, reasonable prices, and supposedly flexible cancellation. Happy with the pest control service, however trying to cancel is almost impossible, buyer beware.....Here's where the nightmare began. We are moving to Chicago, we called to get our service cancelled to which we were told we had to speak to a manager, however the manager was busy and would have to call us back. He never did so we called back. Then we were told we needed to call a 800 number to cancel, which we did but needed to be on hold for over an hour, twice. Reaching a manager proved impossible, and the "anytime cancellation" promise turned into a runaround. An 2 separate hour-long hold on their 800 number was followed by a barrage of unreasonable pressure tactics: * Transfer the service to a family member? * Move the service date up despite us leaving the property? * Pay for non-existent services because of a phantom "7 application signup" we never agreed to? This is beyond unprofessional. It's predatory. We were specifically told cancellation was easy, and now they're trying to squeeze every last penny out of us, even after we expressed our intention to use their services in our new location (which we absolutely will NOT be doing now). Saela Pest Control: If you value honesty, transparency, and ease of service, look elsewhere. This company prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction. We would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Wish this could be negative stars. They came to do a spray and got my wife to sign some quarterly agreement for a year. They refuse to cancel the agreement and there have been multiple issues with their service. Overall I would recommend staying away read more

Spare yourself some time and call a more professional company for pest services. They are eager to get your credit card information for quarterly payments and get you on the schedule. However, they do not show up during the time frame they said they would come by. I called to inquire when they would be by the house and they told me they would call the technician and get back to me. No one ever called. I then reached out to cancel my services and it was a challenge to cancel. They do not charge your credit card until they come out, but they are vey determined to not let you cancel. We have found a new professional company that has better customer service, reviews and retention. Spare yourself the time and energy and pass on Saela Pest Control read more

I scheduled services with an 18 month contract and was told they would be here between 12 and one it's now 230 and it took 20 minutes on hold waiting for someone to talk to and they are still not here so I canceled the services completely without reoccurring charges. read more

I would give negative stars if I could! Young guy came to our house, after asking at the front office and being told soliciting is not allowed. He was borderline aggressive and wouldn't take no as an answer. Told us that he has 50+ of my neighbors who have switched to their service and showed me a list of customer names and addresses. Personal information of others should never be shown as a selling point and is incredibly inappropriate and invasive. It took 10 or 15 minutes to get him to leave. He continuously insisted on knowing how much our current service costs. When I said no multiple times, he continued to insist and asked to speak to a different homeowner. Absolutely repulsive and would never recommend a company that condones this. read more

I'd recommend staying away from this company for at least lawn care and pest control. Their service technicians are incompetent and make sure to read their entire service agreements as they usually try and lock the customers in for multiple years with very high cancellation rates. Multiple other companies in the area to use instead of them. read more

Had to sign a two year contract with this company, upon receiving services. When we signed the service, we were not aware of all the "perks" that were associated with the contract. We had multiple service techs show up to our home and only service the front of the house, however in the contract it states both front and backyards were included in the service, and were not informed that there would be able to be "re-services" to the backyard. What they fail to mention is they only are available Monday through Friday to do these services, so a working person would have to take off work to allow them backyard access. They won't tell you they didn't service the backyard they only tell you it's been done and then bill you. The service tech must have realized that we weren't home during the day because there were a couple occasions where our ring camera popped up with someone there ran the door bell and then left and did nothing, but charged us for our "service contract". However when we wanted to cancel the contract we needed to pay half the remaining contract price. The gave us one free service for never fully doing a full job. Don't sign a contract with this company unless you can afford to take off work every time they come or have someone home at that time. read more

Would give it ZERO stars but not an option. Worst company ever. Customer service is TERRIBLE.

I work from home and so it has to be quiet. Their sales guy rings my doorbell despite my door having a "No Soliciting" sign. He causes my dogs to start barking while I'm trying to work to provide for my household. No respect for a "No Soliciting" sign. read more

I have read other reviews and want to let you know that everyone of these complaints are accurate. I will be going to an ombudsman to work this out. 1. They do require you to sign a 2 year contract even if you are unsure if you have a problem- $129.99 every quarter. When I contacted the company, I was requesting to have an evaluation to determine if I had a rodent problem vs. soil cracking due to extreme heat. I still had to sign the contract to have them come out and make that assessment. I was told that I could cancel the contract at any time. See point #2 below.....that little piece of information was not disclosed. 2. Yes, it will cost you 50% of the remaining contract cost to terminate the contract. 3. If their solution does not work they have no other solutions. They simply continue to offer the same service which is no service really. This company has no business offering a service for rodents. The silly creatures don't dine in. They prefer my plants- guess it's easier to access. Best advice to you: DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE. read more

I'd leave negative stars if I could! Do NOT use these people!! Trying to cancel is like pulling teeth. When they were edge they had bad reviews too. Try and change the name and act like a new company. Still bad reviews. Wish I read them before signing up! LOTS of Red flags Don't cancel service when you ask. Afterwards they will Show up unannounced. No email, text, call. BEFORE business hours, or when they know you are not home. And charge you. Called AGAIN and explained I have called twice and canceled and they twist my words and say I didn't actually cancel, "just told them I wanted to!" "I should have called before the service." AHHH!!!! One there should not have been a next service because I told you I didn't want them anymore, more than once. If I'm expecting the service to be CANCELED , why would I expect a call for a next service? How would I even know when you are coming when do not call, text, email? Just sneak over and show up at 7:30 in the morning? Asked to reverse charges. Said they wouldn't because product had already been applied. Ridiculous. Absolutely no knowledge someone that SHOULD NOT be stepping foot on your property is coming, yet that's my fault somehow. Also, i was overcharged. On my last UNWANTED service. Said they could give me a discount for the difference if i stayed with them. What a crock of shhhh.... Good thing my dog wasn't outside! Which they were repeatedly warned about as well. I'll be reporting them. read more

There was no response. Next, my credit card was charged for an unauthorized amount. My credit card company said it's theft now. I sent a registered letter to the home office in Utah. Two months ago a guy knocked my door and introduced himself, saying that he has already been working with some of my neighbors and would want to win my business as well. At the end of the first service, the service man told us there will be FOUR more service runs. We realized that was a trip, and we called the company multiple time, and finally were able to cancel terminate the service, and they will change us $149.99 for early termination.
