We were under contract for a home that an inspector had found evidence of both past and current rodent infestation. Enviropest in Loveland was hired to take a look at the property and allegedly to clean up all the messes, seal all entry points and exterminate. All they did was look around the house, declared it free of current infestation and stated there were NO entry points. The day after we moved in, a mouse ran down one of the hallways past us. I have found a mouse drinking out of our dogs' water dish three times since we moved in - ridiculously obvious entry point and fresh mouse poop in master bathroom. When we had painters working on the house, there were clearly at least two alive mice trapped under the protective plastic they laid in the laundry room. The laundry room had a putrid smell from the first time we looked at it (but figured it was nothing a little bleach could remedy, so we did not complain) and it has only gotten worse since we moved in. We caught two mice in traps three days ago in the laundry room. We removed all the cabinetry from the laundry room last night...the floor was COVERED in old and NEW mouse poop and urine. COVERED. Two fresh dead mice were also found under the cabinetry. Definitely NOT a prior infestation; they had clearly died sometime in the past week. We easily found two entry points in the drywall in the laundry room. More very obvious entry points on lower floor. They made the easiest $89 ever, probably spending 10 minutes in the house, never actually inspecting anything with any care or regard for ethics. Mouse poop all over the house. AVOID AT ALL COST---EVEN FREE!!!!!!!!!

What should have been a basic garage door seal replacement turned into weeks of incompetence, endless rescheduling, and multiple failed attempts by technicians who clearly had no idea what they were doing. They even left our garage completely unsealed for two weeks -- a huge pest entry point caused by the pest company. Their solution was to hire a garage door company to install the seals. They gave me two options. One, they could hire the company and handle it, or two, I could hire the company and send them the invoice. I chose option one so I wouldn't have to worry about the reimbursement process since they were already challenging to work with, but then they changed their mind and I was told to hire the company myself and send the invoice. A real garage door professional later confirmed what Saela should have known from the start: with the type of doors we have, their "repair" was impossible. They were stuffing rubber into tracks that would repeatedly fall out because these doors require the entire metal piece to be replaced to replace the rubber seals. Instead of taking responsibility, they refused to reimburse the actual repair cost and tried to trap us into staying with them by offering only a credit on our account. Not only that, but they're wanting to credit us only partly because last time the technician was here (which was weeks ago) the seal on the small garage door was "functional". How can something be functional if it's done completely wrong and falling out every time the door is opened? Completely unacceptable and borderline scammy behavior. Saela wasted our time, our money, and our trust. Save yourself the headache and choose literally any other company. This company has me wishing for the option to give 0 stars.

Not my fault they lost the check but i feel my checks now out somewhere that anyone can get my information. I am willing to pay the amount and want compensation for the cancelled check. not good called twice with absolutely no results.

I've been having issues with my dryer in my relatively new (6 year-old) house for the past two…read moreyears. Slowly but surely, my run cycles to dry my clothes went from 45 minutes to over two hours at times. I called multiple companies who weren't licensed to be on the roof where the vent exits the house, but luckily, Doc was recommended by one of them. I sent a message on the website and received an email back that Doc is extremely busy and the next available appointment wouldn't be until June. However, Doc gets his HVAC work done during the days and, if he has time, heads out to do the dryer vents at the end of the day and end of the week. I was just clocking out at work when I got the call - he could be at my house in 15 minutes. I rushed home and minutes after I got there, Doc was there too! He grabbed his ladder and headed up to the roof. Minutes later, I heard a strong vacuum that persisted for about 10-15 minutes, then Doc came to the door. He was done! I wrote him a check (very reasonable pricing and who knows how much he has saved me on electricity of running that thing), and he was on his way! I wish I could've seen what he sucked out of the vent, but after working all day, I'm sure I couldn't have distinguished what was mine and what was the rest of Fort Collins'. The test batch of laundry was next - lots of towels added to the clothes because for the past two weeks I was afraid of my house catching fire with the clogged lint in the vent, and hadn't done laundry in far too long. After a thorough wash, I threw everything in the dryer. Less than 45 minutes later, they were finished! Completely dry throughout (even the thick Carhartts I tossed in for good measure) and smelling fresh! Thank you, Doc, for saving me time, frustration, and money! Totally worth the investment and I've already recommended him to all of my neighbors!

Steve and his team at Effective Pest Services are fantastic. When I met Steve in 2014 I was having big issues with flies and also evidence of rodents in and around my new home.
