Today was a perfect sunny day to stop in for some fresh sugar snap peas and of course a strawberry shortcake. The peas were great. Big healthy peas. And my shortcake was amazing. I love this time of the year. My only negative about my shortcake I suppose would be I wish they had more strawberries in the sauce and maybe even topped it with some fresh cut strawberries. That would take it to the next level. I will definitely return for another go around as they offer a variety of fresh produce. Oh and I also snagged a bottle of local Bloody Mary mix. The Strawberries were sold in various sized containers from pint, quart, tray to bucket. This roadside farm stand is open seasonally from May to November. Their current operating hours are from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday thru Saturday.

Looks like they frequent multiple farmer's markets around the state and will be at the Oregon Berry Festival this year. The woman who helped me at the booth was so nice. They also have cherry trees and other U-Pick options. I was met as soon as I parked and got to see how they're grown and chose the ones I wanted. Pretty cool alternative to the standard dad tie.
