We had adopted our sweet Mack from Sadie over 13 years ago! He is the absolute best boy in the entire world, and we love him so much! I highly recommend Sadie's Doodles!! Sadie is responsive, professional, helpful, and her dogs are unbelievably amazing. Sadie was awesome to communicate with, responsive, informative, and accommodating. I drove up from DC and planned to arrive around 5 pm, however traffic was atrocious and what should have taken 2.5 hrs took almost 5. This was my first dog, so I was already nervous -- compounded by the fact that I got there so late at night and felt horrible, but Sadie was extremely patient, understanding, and made me feel at ease. She brought my furbaby, an F1 Moyen Goldendoodle, out of the house and set him in a little playpen while she got everything ready. She walked me through everything, showed me his vaccination records, used a chip scanner to show me exactly where he was chipped and allow me to verify the chip number. She gave me a gallon size ziploc bag of food and texted me the exact food it was so I could read about it and order more. She gave me a bag with a leash, collar, little blankie w/ his mom's scent, food, and a bully stick, which are his favorite! She answered all of my questions about him, his parents, the littler size, his siblings, and on and on, and was patient with me while asked them, despite it being so late. Before I even got back to DC, I already had an e-mail transferring his chip number to me so I can login and update all my info, an e-mail for an online K9 training course, and a link to the website where I could order his ICA registration certificate (yes, I know it's not AKC. Yes, I know it doesn't verify lineage. But I didn't pay anything and I got a certificate, with a foil seal, which looks VERY official and cool, and I dig it - novelty or not!) :) As far as the dog ... seriously... he is AMAZING!! He has the sweetest temperament, is very calm, was well socialized before I even got him home. He is SO smart and super chill for a puppy. He was clean and brushed nice, he doesn't fear things like the brush or his leash or anything. You can tell he was taken great care of before I picked him up. I DID see the reviews about someone's pup unfortunately getting giardia- which is a real bummer, so I was sure to tell the vet at his first appointment that I wanted him tested. He didn't have any symptom and his stool was never a problem, but I figured if she was going to get a sample, she might as well do it now and check for it. Everything came back clean - and the vet said he was in excellent shape. Everything happens for a reason... I found Saidie's Doodles after a pup from another breeder fell through at the last minute after waiting for 7 months... and it turned out to be the BEST thing that ever happened! In response to Sadie comment: That is not true Sadie. Giardia is usually treatable so we never asked for a refund at first. We figured 1-2 treatments should be enough for her to be cured. It was after FIVE treatments, Sadie. After FIVE TREATMENTS we then asked for a full refund because she was NOT responding to multiple treatments. You kept arguing with us saying that that is not possible. We have emailed multiple legitimate fecal analysis done by laboratories such as IDEXX as well as ANTECH but you refuse to believe in science. And of course throughout those 7 weeks or so we had to constantly monitor her as well as keep a very clean, disinfected environment. It is a lot of work but you refuse to take into consideration what us buyers had to deal with. It is indeed very unfortunate that we bought a puppy from your puppy mill which probably didn't have the best sanitary conditions so we had to go through all this trouble. And you still refuse to give us a full refund. read more

We are overall very pleased with Sadies Doodles. All their puppies are super adorable. The care and love she has for her dogs really shows. She offers and encourages open communication even after you have picked up your puppy. When you pick up your furbaby she makes sure you have a few essentials by giving them to you like a toy, collar, leash, bag of food, a blanket with it's moms smell and a few other things. Yes, I am the husband of Lori Weitkamp and also am entitled to an opinion. First, I would like to clear things up that are not true. The breeder stated she had no contact with me is so false. Before taking Barklee home she had gotten in touch with me numerous times regarding coming to pay for her and picking her up. Along with information being on the contract that included both Lori and my contact information. Lori was a well regarded breeder of Australian labradoodles along with being very knowledgeable of dogs and professional customer service. Lori would have bent over backwards for the benefit of her customer and especially for the puppy. I back everything in what she stated in her review. It's horrible to take our puppy out to do her business and watch her do her business. We have had her to the veterinarian office numerous times along with her fecal samples coming back stating Giardia from two different well respected labs. Yes two different labs. We also have a letter from our veterinarian office. Oh, she did reimburse us $30.00 for one Giardia dose of medicine. 5 months later she still has Giardia. This is not acceptable. We honored our part of the contract. This isn't the only post of a customer who experienced the same problem. We plan to get another letter from our veterinarian to show the documentation of the care and diagnosis of our Barklee and post it on a review. Does Sadie have awesome pups? Absolutely! We love our Barklee with all of our hearts!! Also she had posted about communication. Yes she did send a phone text but, my wife was at work. She explained in her text she cannot discuss at this time as most workplaces have rules about cell phone usage during working hours. It has been exhausting along with being expensive in our attempts to get Barklee well. We have kept the communication texts along with other items to back our claims. Sadie was a pretty good communicator pre payment before Barklee but after post payment it is poor. She needs to reference all the times we attempted to contact the breeder by phone and we were given excuses why she could not answer our calls. We understand not everyone can take a call as the other party could be busy. Because of the lack of communication after another sale, I see that there is another poor review about a puppy born around the same time as our Barklee was born having Giardia too. Am I upset that our Barklee has this diagnosis going on. Absolutely!! Am I Upset that someone claims they are so concerned about their puppies and the homes they go to but when confronted about a serious problem that came with Barklee they try to place the blame elsewhere and not take the blame. Absolutely!! I don't enjoy being this negative BUT my advice is to those who purchased puppies from this breeder since March 2021 need to take a stool sample to either their veterinarian or to a lab to make sure their puppy are Giardia free!!! 4/23/20 reached out via text message to regarding purchasing an F1 medium Goldendoodle. Received a response letting me know all that was involved/included and that the total cost would be $1800. She asks for a $200 deposit to be sent when you fill out an application and this amount will be deducted from the $1800. I filled out an application and sent a $200 deposit on 4/23/2020. She responded immediately that we have been put on the waitlist and the puppy will be born in June of 2020 ready for us to bring home in August of 2020. About a month later she had updated her website stating that all puppies on her site are $2800. 7/02/20 received text from Sadie stating that the litter was a "false pregnancy" and that I can either get my deposit back or put it towards a standard size Goldendoodle. She also stated that they would most likely not try for another medium f1 litter until Spring 2021 which is "disappointing" because "demand is at its greatest".I then texted her confirming that if we waited until the Spring of 2021 our price would still be $1800.She replied that she was going to have to "wing it" and if she has Spring 2021 F1 medium Goldendoodle puppies that are born at her location she will remember the price I was quoted.On 7/24/20 I texted her asking for my deposit back.The next day she texted me that she was able to purchase an F1 medium Goldendoodle litter that was fathered by her mini poodle "Phil" and they would be available 09/10/20 and the price would be $2800.I responded that I thought it was $1800.She responded "not the ones I am buying".I responded to please just send my deposit back.07/31/20 she sends my deposit back.08/01/20 I let her know that I received the deposit.08/02/20 I log onto her website and see she has just posted F1 medium Goldendoodle puppies for sale that were born on 06/08/20 ready for new homes 08/03/20 and priced at $2800.I immediately text her asking where this litter came from as the litter I was waiting for was a "false pregnancy" and now these puppies are on her website for $1000 more than I was told.Her response was as follows "This all transpired yesterday, these pups were born at another location, fathered by my Phil. I had been asking to be able to post them on my site, the family knows what the market has them priced at right now."
