Charged 2 hours of labor to diagnose a problem, only answer was to buy a new unit. I researched and found an actual electrical engineer and he was able to fix in 2 hours. They may be great for newer vans so I can't comment. read more

This review is about Renting a wheelchair van, not purchasing a van. I am a disabled driver and thought I was lucky finding a place that would rent a van and have hand controls so I could drive, after all I am independent. I gave my dates to Amber the rental person and was told those dates are available. After hearing that I made my airline reservations. I was then told Oh, those dates are on the weekend so you will have to pick up on a Friday and drop off on a Monday. After being annoyed I looked into changing my airline dates and paying the change fee PLUS I now need 2 nights of lodging. I asked of they could help on easing the burden of costs and was told no, its our policy to be closed on weekends. Which is fine if I had known that up front. Anyway, annoyed yet again I was then told they could not guarantee my reservation that far out. That was the last annoyance, and I terminated any business with them. I am sure they will take your money if buying, but if you want to rent for a vacation don't reserve 6 months out and be sure to plan you trip on weekdays because they are closed on weekends, and they can't help you at all. read more

This is an awsome company. Everyone here works to accomodate your needs. They guided me into the perfect vehicle for my situation. Omar actually anwers his phone after hours to assist with any questions. I did a lot of shopping before making my purchase and their prices are the best and their knowledge is superb. read more

We were referred to Omar (one of their salesmen) from a friend who bought their van there 10 years ago. Apparently a lot has changed since then. It took a week for him call me back from my initial contact and when he did he was very curt and gruff. We made an appointment for Saturday July 20th at 2PM and when we showed up no one was there. The entire shop was locked down. I called and left a message and no one ever called me back, even days later. They've completely lost my sale at this point and we'll be buying from another local dealer who knows how to treat their customers right! read more

My mom was diagnosed with ALS and needed an electric wheelchair/ scooter to get around. We bought a used van from SacVans. The van was delivered directly to our home. Unfortunately after a few months of use we no longer needed it. Without an appointment or a call that we were coming in, they bought the van back at a very fair price, no questions asked. From the purchase, to the return, they had excellent customer service. I would recommend SacVans Mobility to anyone needing a handicap van. read more

We were referred to this establishment for modification of our RV to accommodate a disabled person. After reading the stellar reviews we were expecting much more than we received. After explaining what we were looking for we were rudely told that they were too busy to help us. The receptionist was very rude. We saw her walk a little ways down the hallway and was not seen speaking to anyone yet returned saying they were too busy for us. We wondered how she could know without speaking to anyone Then we looked on yelp and found one bad review which was more accurate than the stellar reviews. From now on I'm going to check Yelp before going anywhere read more

SacVans provided my wife and me one of the best retail experiences ever. My wife is disabled and her van is fitted with a whole range of specialized equipment to permit her to use her mobility scooter to enter the van snf transfer either to the passenger's seat or driver's seat. A run-in with a curb damaged the automatic ramp for the scooter, and also one of the automatic doors was damaged so that the most important features of the adaptive equipment no longer worked. SacVans worked with us to coordinate the insurance issues, ordered the necessary parts and completed the repairs so the specialized equipment now works perfectly. The level of customer service and professionalism were just outstanding. read more

We were searching for a Mobility Van for my wife. I had seen the shop many times because I used to work in the area. It was a Sunday afternoon, we noticed the door open, hailed the "worker" inside to see if we could ask a few questions. Fate had it the "worker" was the Owner Omar. Even though they were not open on weekends (he has a family whom he cherishes his time, as do I with mine). 20+ years in the business, he is so busy he doesn't need the money, (his quote). Omar showed us around the shop, took nearly an hour out of his time to orient us to the different mobility set ups, and the amenities available. A new one was way out of our price range, so we figured we would have to pick up one of the "salvaged title" vans available. Omar said don't do that, I get trade-ins all the time. Three iterations later, they called me in from work to see two vans. An older one with low mileage, and one that was due to be traded in soon. We ended up waiting for the trade in, newer but more mileage, you wouldn't know it. The van is beautiful, aside from a few quirks, (Omar is working with us to fix). He was very up front about a defect, and has ordered the part to fix it no charge. He worked with us for the few other issues I had with the Van. Personal service, outstanding assistance and understanding of our situation. Thank you SVM for all you do. read more

Great shop, well-run by Omar during my experience, everyone gets along great and works together as a team. They're more than willing to go out of their way to figure out a solution to any fitting problem while getting controls and spacing coordinated to make the vehicle as user-friendly as possible. I'll be back here in a few years for my next VMI Honda! read more

I've been meaning to write this review for a long time. This is such a wonderful group. Their dedication to service is a shining example of how small family-owned businesses can thrive. I have been their customer for well over a decade and have been extremely pleased with their prompt attention to any problems I might've encountered with my old van. They continually educate themselves on the cutting edge of new technology which guarantees me and all their customers access to the best there is on the market. Their prices are reasonable and they conduct their business with a high level of ethics. They could teach a class on how to run a good business. Did I mention they are extremely nice people? read more

I came a few times to get our van worked on but really they are the only convenient place near me and have appointments soon. As now i know why. It seems like they know what they are talking about and they definitely know how to pursue you in getting certain parts but really the quality is extremely cheap. And when they fix something a few weeks later you are back in for repairs because they didn't do something right but will blame it on EVERYTHING else. also Theres ALWAYS new employees nearly every week and half don't even know what they are doing. They have awards everywhere but nowadays you can print them online or have someone test for you, so i wouldn't let that fool you. Not to mention they lady in the front is extremely unprofessional from wardrobe to speaking and she has a lip ring. I just think in this type of environment this is all unexceptionable. I would avoid this place unless you ABSOLUTELY have to. read more

I am a Disable Military Veteran with damage legs and use a wheelchair. The VA contracted a Mobility Equip company from Sacramento earlier to install a lift for my power chair, they said they will order the lift, and in a month they received it and was told that it won't work, and they needed a conversation kit, after that month. I call again and was told the kit won't work, I asked can they put it on the back of the truck, and they said the tailgate cannot be open, and i should get a bigger truck. I waited for a total of 5 months and all I get is excuses. I contacted the VA and was told it was completed, I told them what vehicle did they put it on, because it was not my vehicle. And I need a lift for my appts at the VA. They call me back and found a different company, and they will contact me. That same day Omar from Sacramento Van Conversions "Sac Vans" called me and got the info he needed and told me he will get the lift and install it. Within a week Omar and Sam drove from Sacramento to Vacaville to install my lift in the hot weather, they made it happen in one week . NO EXCUSES. They made it happen. Excellent Service. I rate them 101% overall. Thank you Sac Vans, Omar, Sam, and Amber for making my day, and happy. They also respect the older veterans. I told some of my veteran friends at my VA physical Therapy appointments if the get a power chair and need a lift to call Sac Vans they will make it happen right away. They care for Vets. Sac Vans your the best!!!. Thank You for your support. Kenji read more
