Great wheelchair van rental company. Transactions have always been super smooth and stress free…read more Clean and newer vans. The rental agreements are very customer friendly. $150 a day and 200 miles a day. For the service provided this is a great deal. Geneva has always helped me with the rentals. She is a super sweet and understanding lady who works hard to make all the paperwork easy for myself. The vans themselves are top notch. There are buttons that open and close the sliding doors on both sides. Passenger side of the vans have a ramp that slides out. Touch free to the drive/operator. I buckle my mom in with the straps provided. Then we're good to go! This makes traveling with my mom possible. It's so easy to get her up and in the van and just go. Great technology on the 2024 Toyota Sienna, with lane assistance, Bluetooth and back up camera.

Kevin Horn, the Manager was very detailed in his translation of the process of putting the wheelchairs in the van. I recommend United Access to anyone who is looking to rent or purchase a mobility van with wheelchair access. Again, the staff was very professional in assisting the customers with the purchasing of mobility vans. Thank you. Michael Williford, CEO MC Non-Emergency Transportation

Mobility Works was a lifesaver for navigating transport needs due to my nephew's cancelled flight…read moresituation. Irma was absolutely the best at helping me to navigate the rental process quickly on very short notice so close to closing time on a Friday. I also really appreciated the $400 weekend special. The public transit options are just not viable with unpredictable flight cancellation and transport needs. The Honda Van we were gi worked out really well and was very comfortable as well for everyone especially my nephew.

Mobility Works in sacramento presents itself as a company that cares about accessibility and…read moreindependence, but what i witnessed tells a very different story. Customers are often mislead into believing thier wheelchair-accessible vans are properly serviced, when in reality shortcuts are taken that put safety at risk. Repairs are rushed, steps are skipped, and the focus is on saving time rather than protecting the people who depend on these vehicles. Even worse, i observed staff- including management- making disrespectful comments about disabled customers behind thier backs. The way people were treated varied depending upon whether they were considered "nice" or not. This kind of conduct is completely unacceptable from any business, especially one that serves the disabled community. For anyone considering MobilityWorks, please be aware: This company's priorities are NOT customer safety or respect. Disabled customers deserve honesty, dignity, and care- None of which are consistently provided here.

NOT RECOMMENDED This company is incompetent and dishonest. They do not stand behind their…read moremanufacturer's warranty. I tried to get my system fixed from the middle of January to the middle of March and finally gave up. Here is my experience. Week1: Called for service. No response. Week 2: Called again, spoke to a person who scheduled service for following week. Week 3: Tech came, said it was the motor, under lifetime warranty. Said he'd contact manufacturer, get back to me. Week 4 & 5: No response. Called again, spoke to woman who said she'd been wondering about this service call and would look into and get back to me. Week 6: No response. Week 7: Called again, woman said she's send someone out. I said someone already came out, said it was motor. She said he was new and more experienced tech might be able to fix. Week 8: While waiting for tech she called and asked if I knew I had to pay for service call. I said why, if 1st tech was incompetent. She said 2nd tech agreed with 1st tech, saw videos he took. I asked why he was coming out. She said she'd get back to me. She did and cancelled appointment. Week 9: She called back and said they got a new motor but had to charge me $1200 plus $400 service call. I said it had lifetime warranty. She said it didn't. I have paperwork that said it was. They refused to honor it. I gave up and had chair removed. They charged me $600 to take it out. They will fix it up and sell it for thousands. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FIRM.
