It's only steps to one of the most beautiful beaches in the northeast, and the oceanview from the screened-in porch is simply stunning. The house is light and bright and yet still very cozy. It's tastefully decorated with a beach theme and the kitchen is newly redone. It has a huge wrap around porch that is the perfect place to relax and unwind and listen to the sound of the waves. We lived there for ten months and literally walked our dog on the beach every single day...even in the snow! Aside from the house and location being exceptional, the landlords are wonderful and make sure everything is taken care of during your stay. We selected this place to stay for our first trip to coastal Maine due to its ocean views. The room…read moreitself was fine but small and the bathroom is nearly too small to move around in. It was clean but dated. Sounds from other patrons going up and down the stairs were pretty loud. That said, the view and beach access are top notch and the people who worked there were approachable and pleasant. If I were to return to this area I may stay again at Friendship Oceanfront Suites for the views and beach access alone.

They always have the best properties, reasonable prices, their properties have always been exactly as described and extra clean and well appointed. Carol and Ed send out emails starting in January that tell which properties are available, if I want to plan ahead. They also keep sending them out all summer long, so I can always stay updated, if I want to get away spontaneously! Which I often do! And the great thing is that when I do want to get away spontaneously, they have properties available! There's lots of great real estate agents in OOB, but for me, I'll pretty much only use Carol and Ed! Thank you both for helping us find a wonderful cottage (Fisher cottage) this summer. We had a wonderful time!

Because we booked last minute and decided to stay one more day, we ended up having to change rooms, so we were able to compare them. Both were spotlessly clean. So clean, I had to take a photo of the tub in the bathroom, I have NEVER seen a tub/shower in an older motel with a bathroom this sparkling clean, I mean....not a single dark spot from mold or mildew anywhere in either bathroom. Our beds were comfy, the little AC unit cooled our room nicely, and the staff was very nice as well. We will absolutely return! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We had room #1 right on the beach. It had 2 Queen beds and a kitchenette. Perfect! Daphne, the owner is a sweetheart along with her son, Mike are so happy to make sure things are perfect. Both Cheryl and Doreen are wonderful at the desk and knowledgeable about Old Orchard Beach. When I visit OOB again, I will definitely stay there.
