I had a very disappointing experience with Coldwell Banker in Saco. After meeting with an agent…read moreabout selling my home and purchasing land to build, I was encouraged to put a piece of land under contract and sell my home--which sold after one showing. While preparing to close, we were pressured into paying for a soil test and survey (about $1,400). Later, the land deal fell apart because the title could not be cleared. The seller was a personal friend of the agent. As a result, we were left without a home and out the money we spent. Although the agent allowed us to temporarily stay at their property, it came with ongoing verbal and passive-aggressive treatment. It took four months to finally find another house. During this time, I obtained my real estate license with the promise of mentorship at Coldwell Banker, which never materialized. I unaffiliated after three days. Despite this, my credit card was charged $337.50 on November 29, 2025, and again on February 2, 2026. Multiple attempts to contact the office have gone unanswered. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Coldwell Banker. There are many honest, ethical realtors elsewhere who conduct business with integrity and Coldwell Banker is not one of them!!

KRE scammed my fiancé and I, and from other reviews it seems like that's a common theme with them. You should 100% listen to the other reviews and run the other way. This rental company will find any way they can to maximize their profit and keep your money. The only positive review this company has is from a former employee and personal friend of the owner, King Weinstein. This man obviously has never dealt with KRE as a tenant or customer. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.

I moved out at the end of my lease and my room mate a new lease. They took first months payment from him and used my security deposit for him and told me to get it from him. Then when they sent me a check was only for half of the security deposit. They said it was because of the damage to the condo they had to repair. No repair was ever made to the condo sense there was no damage and the current renter even verified that. Took a complete year to get the money. Two years ago my mother in-law rented a house on Scarborough beach. The pictures did not match the place. It was a dump. Again, they over charged her credit card and tried to screw her out of her security deposit. These people are scum! Check out their rankings with the Better Business Bureau and attorney generals office.
