Would not allow us two lanes even though the place was empty. Would not allow us to buy a pitcher of soda. $6 for a soda. 6 people on one lane means you wait 5 min or longer before you have a turn making a game take an hour with barely an opportunity yo play. If they gave us two lanes we would have played more games (they would have made more money). Not friendly and customers always wrong. read more

It's a good old fashioned midwestern bowling alley, what more can I say, lol. came here with family (a group of 6, adults and kids) to bowl one game. The place is fine, if maybe a little on the 'dingy' side. We were able to get a lane and shoes pretty quickly. It was pretty busy (though it was the first Sunday without a football game this season), but they still had room for us. We had issues a couple of times with balls not returning from the lane right away. We usually just waited a bit and they'd come, but when you have kids excited to bowl that doesn't always go so well. I do like that you could take pictures of each bowler to display while it was their turn-not a deal breaker, but a fun little touch. They didn't have enough seats-we had six people at one lane, and only two chairs right there and two barstools farther back. In fact, when we walked up to our lane the group next to us were sitting in the chair assigned to their lane because they didn't have enough chairs. Overall, it was a solid experience and I'd go back. We didn't do food or drinks, so I can't comment on those. The price was expensive though: around $90 for six people to bowl one game and rent shoes. Much more expensive than when I went bowling growing up! read more

Double captian and coke is over $12.00. Outrageuos cost for this area. The bar was obviously dead. Will never step foot in there again.

Atmosphere: Huge parking lot. They do have a wheel chair access ramp at the front entrance. The inside was actually really clean, although I can't comment on the restrooms. They have a front desk area where you purchase your games and shoes and a bar right next to it. They must have at least 40 lanes, it is really quite large in here. The score tracking computers are touchscreen and allow you to add images for bowlers which is pretty cool. You can also take a group selfie with them. Service: The bartender and front desk attendant were really helpful and prompt in doling out drinks or their services. We had a few issues with our lane resetting pins correctly but the desk attendant was really great about helping us immediately. I'm excited to come back here and go bowling again, the prices were reasonable, $23 for 2 games for 2 people+shoes. read more

A great staff, big call out to the bartender Josh! Always have a good time and the place is neat and clean. Decent food. Also a good place to shoot pool if you are not into bowling. Great Bowling place! Awesome customer service! My kids love to come here to bowl and play the mini arcade. We also love the food here.

The guys behind the counter didn't seem to have a clue on our reservation. No selection of bowling balls to use. A drink was spilled which was our fault and when I went to tell them they didn't care so I made 3 trips to the bathroom for paper toweling to clean it up so nobody's shoes would get wet and ruin there bowling. And to top it off they shut us down 5 minutes early on our 2.5 hour reservation right in the middle of our final game. The only plus was Josh, the bartender, who was funny and freakin' fast at making our drinks and sodas while the only bartender on duty when it was busy. This is an awesomely priced bowling alley. Might not be the best bowling balls or lanes but the price can't be beat. Food- Food really isnt good at all. Fried pickles did not feel like they were cooked enough. French fries were OK. Club sandwich was meh. Drinks- Drinks are your typical bar drinks. Nothing special. Service- Service is slow especially the food and drink service. Gave this place 3 stars because it really is a fun place to bowl. I wouldnt do anything else here again but the cheap bowling will keep me coming back. Do yourself a favor and bowl here but don't eat here. Drinking here is fine. read more

Things must've changed dramatically since Covid because I don't remember bowling being so outrageously expensive. My daughter and I decided to go bowling last night on a whim. We bowled four games with one shoe rental and the total was nearly $70. There are about 100 other forms of entertainment that I would rather spend $70 on than this. I really like bowling but there's no way I'm paying that to roll a ball down a lane. Unfortunately, both Sabre and Super Bowl are affiliated, so pricing is almost the same. So much for getting the next generation interested in bowling. Taking a family would be cost prohibitive. I don't have anything against a business making a profit, but this is gouging. read more

The food was awesome. The cheese curds were at the perfect amount of batter and grease. The drink selection was huge. Although my kids had some trouble finding bowling balls for their size and there was not even anyone there. We brought a group of 11 year olds here and I couldn't ask for more. The staff were friendly and accommodating, did little extra touches with serving the food we ordered for our group. The place is clean, well organized. The kids had a great time bowling, too! read more

I love the rock n bowl on Friday and Saturday nights. So much fun and so much better and cheaper than Superbowl. Plus dollar nights on Wednesday. $3.15 for two games and shoes. Good deal. This bowling alley also includes a pizza restaurant and full bar. Very convenient. read more

In my book, The Tenth Frame is the bowling alley to beat in the Fox River Valley and this just doesn't cut it. It's definitely cheap but the food is not at all good and the old fashioneds aren't quite right. They get an A-OK because the three game bowling special is cheap and also the shoes look new and I like that alot. read more

Prices are the only decent thing about this place. Incredibly crowded, dirty and there is no music unless you play it off the juke box.

Lanes are nice, computer scoring is up to date and there is usually availability. Bar service is horrible at best and most times I can only buy one round of drinks before giving up altogether. read more

We had a tubing party set with a large group of people from out of town and mother nature had other ideas...bowling was our plan B and the staff at Sabre Lanes was very accommodating for our 20+ group at the last minute. We took my 12 year old son and 4 friends to Sabre Lanes for his birthday yesterday. The staff was awesome, friendly, and helpful and the deal was amazing! None of the kids had much experience bowling before and they all had a great time. They got to bowl for 2 hours, drink soda, and my son got a bowling pin that his friends signed to commemorate the day. DO NOT GO TO THIS BOWLING ALLEY. I would give them zero stars if I could. First, the alley that I was put in was malfunctioning all night and nothing was being done about it, even though my alley was right in front of the front desk. Very close to the end of my second game, my ball hit the brake on the alley for the second time that night because it went down after I threw my ball on both occasions. I then tried to tell the staff working, but I was treated with disrespect and called a liar to my face because they didn't believe that their lane was malfunctioning. I was incredibly disappointed with my experience and appalled at the way I was treated. I normally do not write reviews or file complaints with places, but they earned this review.
