Mini tequeños
Ryan B.

Small and cozy place with music in the background. The service was good for being in such a large group. The food was excellent! I had the grilled chicken patacón and mini tequeño. Very impressed. Highly recommend.

At this point, I think I can officially call myself a paella connoisseur . If I see paella on the…read moremenu, I HAVE to try it. I don't make the rules. So of course, when I went to Pal Campo Restaurant, I had to order the paella. I didn't dine in this time, I grabbed it to go. First impression? They definitely got my attention because there was a big ol' lobster sitting right on top! Now THAT is how you introduce me to a plate of paella. The flavor was really good, the seafood was good, and overall I enjoyed it. My one issue was the peppers and onions. There were a LOT of big chopped pieces that I could clearly see and taste, and for me, that was a little bit of a turnoff. I prefer everything in my paella to blend together a little more. But did that stop me from eating it? Absolutely not. And here's the funny part. I ate the leftovers the next day and somehow it tasted even better! Maybe everything just needed a night to get acquainted because that second-day paella was hitting. So, as your self-appointed traveling paella inspector, I'm giving this one a 8/10. The flavor was there. The lobster definitely earned some extra points. I just needed those peppers and onions to calm down a little bit.

It's a lively, family-friendly spot that makes you feel like you're back on the island. Now, on to the food! I ordered the Chuleta Can Can, and this thing was massive! So big that I couldn't finish it. Unfortunately, it was a little on the salty side, which took away from the flavor. The rice was also a bit bland and could have used more seasoning. Surprisingly, the beans were delicious and probably my favorite part of the meal. And I know what most people are thinking mix the rice and beans together but a good Puerto Rican white rice is always seasoned. Overall, the atmosphere was great, and we enjoyed the live music and family setting. Definitely a nice place to experience some Puerto Rican culture.

Been wanting to come here due to huge raves from fellow puerto ricans regarding the authentic…read morepuerto rican cuisine. My colleague recommended this location because she said the food served / cooked here is better than the one on 1-92. The location is inside Old Town. Parking is easy here and the location is nice and its a huge restaurant inside. We were seated by the windows where you can view the huge ferris wheel ride. The menu is somewhat large and can be overwhelming to some but easy to navigate - we opted to share the meal so we chose the $75 platter which had a mofongo, fried plantains, chicken, pork, pork chop, steak, rice, fries from what I recall. Ordered a seperate Bacalaitos app to share. The highlight for me was the rice and steak. The steak was delicious. It was a skirt steak meat. But oh so tender even though it was well done. They offer variety of dipping sauce - ketchup mayo - chimichurri among others. Service here is decent. Water did not taste filtered. The foods were mostly fried but the meats were seasoned well regardless. I would def come back here again for good puerto rican eats.

I honestly recommend you go to Denny's or IHOP before coming here! If I could give this place -100…read morestars I would! I went tonight Sunday September 6th 2026. I recommended this place to my friends that were visiting from Georgia. We experienced the worst customer service from the hostess. This lady allegedly was a "manager" she was rude, sarcastic, and just ignored us like we didn't exist, even though I attempted to get her attention multiple times. Now for the food portion of this review if I hadn't asked for my appetizer, I would've never received it and after I received the appetizer arrived three minutes later. I stopped eating my appetizer so I could eat the meal that I ordered before it got cold, which was Mofongo with carne guisada. Sadly that was not the case! My appetizer was hotter than my meal. I had to send it back and it came back hot but the Mofongo had no flavor! I had to drown it in the sauce to get any type of flavor. My friends food also came out cold and with no flavor. I finally got the chance to speak to anomanager and the only thing that they could do was comp us one of the meals and yes they picked the cheapest one! My friend ordered a 40 dollar stake with Trifongo which was extra money for it, and it was disgustingly cold and flavorles I have had bad experiences with restaurants in the past but this one take 1st place for sure! Do not come here! And the lady that was the sarcastic, rude lady that was the host/manager. Let her go or demote her to washing dishes or something but she's not ment to take care of clients/guest. I have never left a review good or bad, but she's the one that inspired me to make this one!
