    I have lived here for over a year. I love the seclusion and the trees. Its so beautiful. I see people walking around, kids riding their bikes, there are ducks and deers. I have never seen bugs in the apartment. The leasing office is pretty reliable, especially if working with the same person. I do wish they had an app for maintenance and I wish you could opt out of the valet trash. The valet people are very loud and noisy when collecting the trash in the morning while I was asleep. Several times they refused to pick up the trash saying it was "too heavy" and squires ripped it apart in front of my door. And now my trash can is missing??? Not that I care too much. I have been walking my own trash to the dumpster now, and prefer doing that anyway. Besides that, I haven't had too much trouble with appliances or anything. It's an overall lovely place to live.

    Fighting for My Mother This Mother's Day…read more Today is Mother's Day, and I haven't been able to spend it with my mom, Maria. Instead, I've spent it drafting legal appeals to fight a nursing home discharge based on disputed "non-payment" -- even though I have bank proof that the certified check I delivered was never processed by the facility. My mother, who has advanced dementia, was admitted to Island Lake Center in September 2025 after hospitalization. Since then, I've documented: Failure to provide dementia-focused care or arrange neurology consults Premature Medicare termination despite ongoing skilled nursing needs Hygiene neglect -- I found her wearing another resident's clothes A certified check for $1,034.32 that I personally delivered, which the facility never deposited but claims as "non-payment" Refusal to provide basic billing records showing proper Medicare/Medicaid classification Navy Federal Credit Union confirmed my check was never negotiated. I've repeatedly offered to resolve the payment with proper documentation. Instead of reconciling the account, the facility issued a 30-day discharge notice. This isn't just about my mom. It's about: Families being pressured to pay disputed charges Vulnerable seniors with dementia being denied proper care Facilities using billing disputes to force transfers Guardians fighting for basic transparency and accountability I've filed formal complaints with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the Long-Term Care Ombudsman. I'm appealing the discharge. And I'm speaking out because this happens to too many families who don't know their rights. They deleted…read moretheir old Yelp profile due to the number of bad reviews and created this new profile earlier this year, they also removed the reviews section from their Facebook page because of the negative reviews there. The buildings have been bought by a new management company who is nearly as incompetent as the last one. The management does not respond to messages in a timely manner and I don't think they do walkthroughs of the property, EVER, as there are issues like trash cans left in hallways, parts of the building falling off and laying on the floor for weeks on end, etc. Yesterday I went down to the parking garage and nearly broke my neck when I slipped on a flooded floor because the parking garages LITERALLY drain THROUGH the doors to the building, you have to open the doors with water coming down them and walk through a waterfall to gain access to the parking garage. The parking garage itself is so poorly constructed I think it rains more in there than outside when it's raining. There are also cars that people have abandoned in the parking garage over a YEAR ago that are still sitting there, flat tires, dust so thick that people write on it. Unfortunately every time they say things they are going to get better, and they might for a few weeks, but then back to the old ways. If you are looking at moving, I recommend that you talk to some of the actual residents who have been here for a while before doing so.

My apartment is in exceptional shape and well maintained and I love all of the storage space. The amenities and landscaping are kept up wonderfully and centrally located for easy access. I can walk to the Sun Rail in moments and it is located in the middle of the city of Lake Mary. I would like to add that the Robbins Property Associates group has worked with me to find a win-win solution for any bumps in the road during my stay. Stephanie and Eleana consider it their pleasure to work with me and they have always respond so quickly to any questions or concerns that I may have had this past year. I recommend Station House at Lake Mary if you are looking for an apartment. It is really a lovely place and an exceptional staff.

Jessica C. was my tour guide, and she did an amazing job. She knew everyone's name that lived in the complex and everyone knew her name. That means a lot to me that the staff is liked by the tenants. The complex is very clean. No dog poop anywhere. It is a smoke free complex, and you can tell. There are 2 pools, playground, a huge gym clubhouse, etc. Great amenities. The apartments are very spacious and designed perfect. Jessica was amazing and I cannot wait to move into this complex in Jan 2026. Thank you all for making this searching experience so easy. What should have been a hopeful and exciting first step into a new home turned into an emotionally and financially devastating ordeal -- all due to the gross negligence, lack of transparency, and outright unethical behavior of the property management team. When I first applied, I was led to believe that Lakeshore Apartments valued customer service and tenant satisfaction. I was shown a unit, told it would be available and move-in ready by May 1st, 2025, and proceeded to complete every required step in good faith. I submitted all documentation, ensured that my funds were available, stayed in regular communication, and remained flexible and respectful throughout the process -- even after being told the unit had an infestation left behind by the previous tenant. I trusted that this issue would be handled responsibly and within the promised timeframe. But it quickly became clear that this wasn't about a pest issue. The real problem stemmed from how my unit was under marketed on their website -- listed inaccurately either in condition or price. Rather than owning up to this internal mistake, management resorted to vague excuses, sudden changes, and misleading information, making it nearly impossible to get a straight answer. I was given the runaround and ultimately left without stable housing for myself and my child. The worst part? That same unit I was told wasn't ready -- due to an infestation and needing deep cleaning -- is now listed again on their website as available for lease. After leading me to believe it wasn't suitable for move-in, they turned around and put it back on the market. That is disgraceful. It's a clear indication that the problem was never truly about the unit's condition, but instead about hiding their error and avoiding responsibility. They breached the lease agreement. Not me. Yet I was the one left scrambling. They manipulated the situation, pushed me out of a contract that I upheld in full, and tried to shift the blame. This was not only unprofessional, it was unethical. The emotional and financial hardship they caused me and my child is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. I have since filed formal complaints and am pursuing legal action. But I also feel an obligation to share my experience so others do not fall into the same trap. No one should be misled, disrespected, or left without housing because of poor management practices and deceptive marketing. To anyone considering renting at Lakeshore Apartments in Altamonte Springs: Do not. What they've done is disheartening and unforgivable. This is not a company you can trust. Confusing and they won't answer questions. They're too busy to answer phone, reply to text or emails, unless it's at their convenience. Then misquoted, after I applied and paid. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! While in office, saw email come in to management titled "Roaches" wouldn't recommend. Not sure if Greystar is abiding by Florida laws.
