Left with horrible facial scar…read more I went in for removal of small spider vein, probably only visible to me. I usually go to a dermatologist office for this. I have been doing this for 15 years every couple years- no incident. But I was burnt so severely at advanced cosmetic medicine that all the thin layers of fat and collagen have been burnt away leaving a hole - an atrophic scar- in bridge of my nose. I have to have plastic surgery to try to treat this ugly scar. I have had a consult and they said I have two options- cut it out and be left with a linear stitch scar or try fat grafting and a bunch of laser. It's been utterly devastating and humiliating. It is life changing. Advanced cosmetic medicine has contributed money toward my treatment for this scar. However it's far from the emotional impact this has had on me, and all the down time from treatments which so far hasn't worked. I've missed a lot of work, and I am losing friends. Feeling desperate, depressed and scared that I may be stuck like this forever.

I booked a massage with Tanya, who is lovely, warm, friendly and gave me one of the best massages EVER! I left feeling amazing - albeit kinda disorientated (but that's what you get!) but ever since, I have felt so great! The new location / rooms are excellent, clean, tidy and allow for a great atmosphere to relax in. I have taken many of my girlfriends here for their birthdays, and I have been suprised a few times myself with spontaneous trips. With an inner city location, this Endota is smaller and a little noiser than others, just from sheer building size and traffic. But they have decked the place out with soothing music and equipment and try their best to make the place quiet and serene. Endota Rundle is 3 stories tall, with the reception and entry on the middle level. There is a tea/waiting room downstairs along with some treatment rooms and larger group rooms upstairs. The therapists are amazing, as expected, and they know their stuff, tailoring each treatment to suit the client. Sometimes I have had nice chats with them, or a laugh, or a silent treatment where I have almost fallen asleep. If you want something a little different, get Alex the male therapist, he is pretty cool.

The salon itself is quite large but not intimidatingly so, with a modern fixtures, lots of fresh flowers and lots of people (both customers and stylists). This is one busy place! I had the usual small talk with the stylist as she trimmed my hair - and while she did an OK job, there wasn't a huge difference as I left the salon. I do have reallllly long hair which hairdressers can often be afraid to cut, so I wasn't super surprised. It wasn't cheap - paid around $80 for a wash, trim, blowdry, and my hair looked good when I left but as mentioned it wasn't a huge difference from when I walked in. I also asked about colouring when I was in there, but was put off by a quote of $200+ so never followed it up. Orbe do the whole shebang when it comes to beauty and hair, with a spa area offering facials and other beauty treatments too.

I was suprised and disappointed, considering they are a big, busy salon with many locals. Maybe it was just my bad luck, and I happened to get a newbie or something. I don't know. They were really expensive too. I usually go to Gritti Palace which people say is expensive, but they do a really good job so you get your money's worth. And even then, they're still cheaper than Orbe. After my experience at Orbe, all I can say is... Lucky my hair grows quickly.

The masseuse did such a great job, and continually checked if I was okay/whether I needed more or less pressure. I feel like I can definitely give the girls at SO Spa 4 stars now that I've experienced the nicer, actually relaxing things they have to offer, and not just waxing!

I walked in at 4 on a Saturday and was welcomed by Seiko, who did an excellent Thai massage/reflexology combination for 90 minutes on me. After filling out an intake form and having my feet gently washed, we went into a private room and I changed into a pair of fisherman pants and no top because some oils were used. There was gentle music, I was kept covered by sheets and an eye pillow (when on my back), and the work felt great. Could barely ask for more. Sen work, acupressure, some shiatsu thrown in bc she was trained in that too, and of course stretches that felt amazing. I hope I can come back on a weekend again!

And downstairs is a hair salon (which I haven't tried). Always make an appointment, as it is a popular place! And yes, they will recommend products for your skin, but are not overtly pushy about them. And I can highly recommend Jess, my current beauty therapist, she is very friendly and spends time looking at my skin and adjusting the treatment where needed.
