However, having experienced quite a few, this one is certainly one of the better ones. I haven't had a bad massage here yet. Word to the wise though, it isn't for the faint hearted - if you are particularly sensitive or like a light massage let them know, or maybe go somewhere else. They are a lot stronger than they look! I like to lay on the table while they pound me and wonder what they are saying to one another as they chat in Chinese and occasionally chuckle. This seems to be something that is common to most of these places, and the fact that you don't disrobe, which is convenient. An extra bonus is that you can get a health fund rebate here so a cheap massage becomes even cheaper.

It is the only Chinese massage shop where I had to ask 3 times for the person to massage harder and even then I didn't feel any discernible difference. I have been told by some people that they have had a good massage here but knowing there are better massage shops I am not game to return just in case I get the guy who didn't know what he was doing again.

They have made some effort to decorate the entrance and foyer where the main desk is. Once you've chosen how long you want your massage you are escorted down the hall to one of the massage rooms. The rooms have a natural feel, certainly not the purpose-designed rooms I'm used to. It's just as though a massage table has been plonked in a room, but at least it has a door. You lay down fully clothed and are massaged fairly firmly and matter-of-fact. Best thing about this place is you can just drop in and get a massage when it suits - no need to make an appointment - and I've never had to wait.

Glenelg is one of the newer Endota Spas to open up in Adelaide and has been done well. Subdued lighting lots of candles and lovely warm staff allow you to feel relaxed the moment you step inside. The products they use are certified organic and smell divine. There are many different treatments and packages to choose from ranging from $30 upwards. The building is a lovely old two storey house and the treatment rooms are located upstairs away from any noise. This Glenelg one is fairly new and is in a good location just off Jetty Rd, keeping the noise down. Its in a little old characterized house with a couple of single rooms and a few couple rooms, with no group room. The rooms have a nice ambience with candles, soft soothing music and the aroma of certified organic beauty products. All the rooms are quite small and cosy, as it was a house, which makes me like the Rundle and Barossa ones a little more as they are slightly more spacious and can accommodate more than 2 people at a time in one room. But my experiences here have been lovely, the therapists are always smiley and friendly, chatting when necessary but also letting me relax. It's great to go grab an ice cream afterwards or sit by the beach and reminisce always saying ahhh...
