We've been looking for a house on and off for the past few years and met many realtors, brokers, and real estate agents during open houses and no one impressed us like Eric did. While my parents introduced me to a family friend who was a real estate agent, I had no idea how to go about finding a loan officer! After digging through Yelp/Google, I stumbled upon Meridox Mortgage that had stellar reviews and took a chance. I called Meridox and was put in touch with Trung Tran. I let him know that I didn't have any knowledge of how the house-buying process works, but he was incredibly supportive and assured me he would walk me through every step. Shortly after we finished talking on the phone, he sent me a list of items to provide for the pre-approval letter. Trung's turnaround was quick. I sent him my information in the evening and got the letter the next morning. My real estate agent used this letter to draft the offer...it was accepted! After my offer was accepted, the rest of the process was somewhat nebulous, but my real estate agent worked closely with Trung to help me through. Trung was with me every step of the way. He patiently explained how my monthly mortgage payment and closing costs were calculated and even helped me negotiate a home insurance offer.
