I used to be a milspouse and while we lived in CO l had a horrific experience with a jewelry repair. All I needed was a watch battery replaced but two jewelry stores stripped the screws on the back of the watch! The one jewelry store kept telling me week after week that the screws needed this lubricant to help them unscrew. After 4+ weeks of this nonsense l finally told them to give me the watch back, we were done. I found that they were unable to get any screws out because all 4 were still in when l received it back (a lie from them saying they were waiting on the last 1-2 to unlock). I ended up visiting my family in CA and Brian and his wonderful jewelers not only had it fixed in less than a week, they also gave it a thorough look over and put in new screws that work better than the originals that came with it. I also had an antique platinum setting that l bought to use as my wedding ring except the middle diamond in the original setting was really small. I had a larger one to have set into it and there is NO ONE else l would trust with that! They did a beautiful job and you'd never know it wasn't original to the ring. It looks like it was meant to be that way. A secretary at my kiddos' school was telling me about her ring that so many jewelers couldn't fix. I recommended her to this shop. Although she went to their Mission Viejo location instead, she said she was thrilled that they were finally able to fix her ring when so many others said it couldn't be done. Currently, my late dad's Rolex is being checked by their watch person. My mom and stepdad have both gone through their watch person as well and have had no complaints. I think the best thing is the relief l feel when dropping my jewelry off here. I know that it will be in the best care and get the fix it needs. Brian stands by his work and l can say that from an issue (that would have happened when repairing it anywhere) that happened and Brian has more than made it right in the very rare situation that has happened. Brian's expertise and integrity is unmatched. I trust him implicitly and only come here for any repairs l need done. They are kind, professional, and knowledgeable.

He follows the same strict manufacturer guidelines and protocols as the Rolex Service Center, but is local and far more economical. He is certified by Rolex, a process by which a representative from Rolex observes and inspects the servicing of a watch on premises. Mr. Hayes charges a fair and honest price for his work. I researched a few places and the parts and labor were all about equal. There are no corners cut. All parts are official Rolex. Nothing superfluous is replaced. Be careful of places quoting cheaper prices, only to charge more in the end for additional things like polishing or unnecessary replacement parts that aren't from Rolex. He's a second generation watch repairman and his family even owned a retail watch store.

Took my Hugo Boss watch here to replace its original leather strap since it was due for change. The…read moreguy who helped me, Constantine, showed me a few different options for replacement. After replacing the band I informed him that the new strap is longer than usual. Rather than owning up to it he kept telling me that it's "standard" sizing and that my wrist is small. I decided to go back after a few days as the strap was ridiculously long and not a good fit for my wrist. I told him about the situation and how the original strap of the watch was prefect size. He told me to come back in a few days since he had to order the band. I come back to replace the band and he was asking 2x the price of the original band that I had already paid for. Not only he didn't fix the original issue, but he tried to make 2x more than the original price. Straight robbery. I told him about the issue as how he deceived me of the XL band being "standard" sizing and wanting to charge me 2x the original cost of the XL band. He started arguing that the band is already used... Overall, a horrible experience and customer service. Also be aware, he kept telling me that he would service my Rolex on my wrist. Multiple times without me asking him. Not sure why, but came off very weird.
