Took my wife and two kids here last night. We listened to recommendation of the hostess and unfortunately led astray. Although the atmosphere was great, set in a 400 year old building with a courtyard that was really cute, the food was good to OK.
The hostess recommended the majorcan bread with tomatoes, the diced tomatoes and spread was good but the bread was just not my taste so we didn't finish it. They also brought us bread with garlic butter but didn't tell us there was a charge, which was a surprise when I got the bill.
We ordered a Tapas sampler and not sure if it was good as we just didn't like a few of the dishes included. There was a tasty potato dish with ketchup like sauce, spicy sausage which was pretty tasty, meatballs where OK as not much flavour, ham was tasty but the biggest portion on the plate and not a favorite of ours, chicken balls were not enjoyed as they had the consistency of deep fried tuna, there was also a vegetable which we did not recognize and was loaded with salt so didn't eat it.
My wife really enjoyed her char-broiled Salmon, which was a nice change from the grilled salmon she's gotten elsewhere.
My son and I shared the BBQ meat plate and it was quite good. Only problem is that we asked for the same dish which the table next to us had, only the plate for 1 since the plate for 2 was very big. Still not sure why the other table had there dinner on a stone grill and ours was served already cooked on the final plate.
My daughter got the chicken nuggets kidsmeal and enjoyed it.
Dinner cost us $115USD. No alchohol. Water and soda only. No dessert. read more
